Chapter 1
-SIENNA-
"I have to get out of Manhattan," I say as I sink into my friend Harper's light cream sofa and toss my bag aside. We met on Friday night at Harper's for a drink and to catch up, since I haven't been able to keep in touch with my friends lately due to my crazy work schedule. I've hardly been able to get here. Luckily, one of the projects I was working on was canceled. Maybe I'll be able to sleep at night again.
"Noooo," my friends Harper and Michelle reply at the same time. "But you love your apartment," adds Michelle, as she places her Margarita on the coffee table.
It's true. I've lived there for 10 years, ever since my mother could afford it, earning enough money from her job as a receptionist at the art gallery and selling her own paintings.
It's true. I've lived there for 10 years, ever since my mother was able to afford it, earning enough money from her job as a receptionist in an art gallery and selling her own paintings.
We lived in Brooklyn, at my aunt's house, ever since my grandparents politely sent my teenage pregnant mother far away. Apparently, the hippie community on the left coast where they lived wasn't that open. My mother had to leave everything behind and move in with my grandparents' sister. After my aunt passed away, the little money my mother inherited allowed us to rent a house in the city. And when we visited the old pre-war apartment on the west side, which turned away all potential tenants because of the unusual layout of the rooms, it was love at first sight. My mother didn't mind the bedroom next to the front door, the kitchen/living room in the middle and the second bedroom at the back. She just stared at the large windows and analyzed the light coming in through them, probably thinking about what she would paint.
"Yeah. I did the math and I can't afford it. I even looked for something else in the area to rent, but you know how the prices are." I exhale with a depressed look. The thought of losing my mother and the place we used to call home brings me great melancholy.
"You can stay here with me," Harper says, blinking her sage green eyes rapidly. "I know you'd have to sleep on the couch because there's only one bedroom, but it's my apartment and you don't have to pay rent. You might even save some money."
Harper is an interior designer. Her parents bought her the little condo as a present when she finished college and the place is very nice, but it's tiny. It suits her small stature. Me, with my 1.80 m, I'd knock it down. Our little group of friends consists of me, Harper, Michelle and Nina, who is now in Italy. We met at college and shared an apartment. We bonded instantly and have been inseparable ever since.
"You know she can't stay here, Harper," disagrees Michelle. "Nina's coming back in six months and you've already promised her this sofa until she finds her own place. Siena's long legs spin like a helicopter when she sleeps. No wonder she kicks all her boyfriends out of bed." Michelle looks at my legs and raises one of her eyebrows ironically. With her medium height, dark skin and curvaceous body, Michelle is my physical opposite. She and I have the same degree in economics and work in the same company, but, social butterfly that she is, she works in sales instead of finance.
"I mean, she kicks them out of her life," corrects Harper with a smile. She has a fantastic smile and she knows it. She uses it as a weapon on many occasions. Today she's blocking me from kicking her with my long legs.
"You guys are so funny," I reply sarcastically. They love to tease me about my lack of relationships. Which I usually don't mind, but today I'm at my wit's end. It's not that I don't believe in it. I just can't trust anyone enough to spend my life with. I'm not a nun, I just limit contact with guys to the physical part. "Seriously, I don't mind going back to Brooklyn, but I'm going to miss my apartment so much." The thought of leaving the place where I made so many memories with my mom makes my eyes sting. I need to change the subject quickly before I start crying here. "I can't find a roommate. Everyone who's come to visit the apartment thinks it's so weird. It's not just the layout of the inmates, but the fact that the only full bathroom is inside my room. They give me weird looks when they figure out where they need to shower. Like I'm a pervert or something who built this on purpose just to watch people go in and out of the bathroom."
"I know I've offered before, but—"
"Stop." I don't let Harper finish. "I've said it before, and I'll say it one last time. I'm very grateful for your offer, but I won't be taking your money. I have enough debt as it is, and I need to get my finances in order."
The three of us pause for a sad moment and Michelle breaks the silence: "I have a solution for you." I open my mouth eagerly, but she suddenly shuts me up, raising her finger with her long, well-manicured nails. "Before you say anything, let me explain the whole story."
"Go on."
"So, there's this Canadian guy who's being traded to New York to play goalie for Hank's team." Hank is her boyfriend who plays hockey for the Rangers. He's a really nice and handsome guy who adores her. They met two years ago and hit it off instantly. She moved into his apartment after three months and I'm sure he'll propose to me any day now. "The guy needs a place to stay and he can pay a whole year's rent in exchange for a small favor. Nothing sexual, don't look at me like that!"
"So what? What's the problem? Is he a weirdo? A slob? Does he like to steal underwear? I don't care. I'm desperate."
She inhales deeply and continues, "No, Hank says he's fine. A little grumpy, but a normal guy. The issue is he had some problems with his visa and needs a green card ASAP to keep playing for the team. You'll have to marry him and stay married for a whole year."
Wait, what?

When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.
Bonnie has spent her entire life being broken down and abused by the people closest to her including her very own twin sister. Alongside her best friend Lilly who also lives a life of hell, they plan to run away while attending the biggest ball of the year while it's being hosted by another pack, only things don't quite go to plan leaving both girls feeling lost and unsure about their futures.
Alpha Nicholas is 28, mateless, and has no plans to change that. It's his turn to host the annual Blue Moon Ball this year and the last thing he expects is to find his mate. What he expects even less is for his mate to be 10 years younger than him and how his body reacts to her. While he tries to refuse to acknowledge that he has met his mate his world is turned upside down after guards catch two she-wolves running through his lands.
Once they are brought to him he finds himself once again facing his mate and discovers that she's hiding secrets that will make him want to kill more than one person.
Can he overcome his feelings towards having a mate and one that is so much younger than him? Will his mate want him after already feeling the sting of his unofficial rejection? Can they both work on letting go of the past and moving forward together or will fate have different plans and keep them apart?
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
