Chapter 1
Giannis Alessandro found himself driving early morning, next to his best friend and college classmate, the beautiful Kallisto. Giannis didn't know what tomorrow will bring him, but he was sure the champagne bottles would be bubbling as long as he shares his success and defeats with an honest friend in a world of false masks and pretense. Both were studying Social Communication at College and had freelance jobs. Kallisto is a professional makeup artist, and Giannis is a model, and took professional portrait and editorial style photography. Those who invited them to spend a season in the city of Mérida are models, good friends of Giannis, their group of friends use to be creatures of the theater and cameras.
“No one would notice her absence in the City, actually It will be great for her just some kind of change” thinks Giannis for himself as He is driving along the driveway. Kallisto had been enclosed into her apartment, without leaving her place only for going to classes, since she discovered that her ex-boyfriend Gabriel was dating someone new. Gabriel it wasn´t a big deal for Kallisto, they even didn’t have sex. But Giannis Knows how sensitive is Kallisto, specially about relationships feelings. As soon I realiced that it was a matter of life or death for Kallisto change or move to somewhere else, we moved on and went after our dreams. We took a flight to Irland, rent a car, and now we were driving to some new adventure, following direction Kallisto´gps.
I had to break up with my ex-boyfriend in New York City, and travel with my best friend Kallisto towards a new beginning. It was so easy to me forget my ex, actually I am more than ready to take new pictures and live new love stories. The frenetic fury of the modeling world, makes me imagine easily the models posing in front of my camera. The view is amazing and the moving landscapes of the mountains and the beautiful sunrise, reflecting the sun´s ray, are conquering me through the trip.
With both hands on the wheel, I drive down an inhospitable road. The tour is accompanied by the song Wish You Were Here by Pynk Floyd it plays from Kallisto's phone, the stars that are disappearing in front of the last vestiges of nightfall. Kallisto, is no more than 21 years old, She sleeps with a sweet face, and a delicate beauty. She highs cheekbones above her red lips, sleeps in my car, in the passenger seat. At that moment I change the song and starts singing it in fluent English. The sun begins to cover us and Kallisto languidly wakes up, opens her eyes and rubs her eyelids. She wears a ring with the jade stone decorating her fingers. I look my reflection in the mirror, I am looking handsome and jovial, I smiles at Kallisto. The first rays of the sun glinting off my car. I take my aviator sunglasses out of the passenger compartment and put them on me. I has a sharp nose and a face framed by attractive masculine features, perfect for being a model. Kallisto is a thousand times more beautiful than any model I meet, her face has the perfect symmetry as she is a model, her eyes are deep green and her lips tinted light pink smile mischievously.
My straight black hair looks intact despite the wind that moves it, I enjoy driving, my chin is perfectly shaved and the wind that enters through the window caresses my cheeks devoid of imperfections. Outlining a mysterious and hidden smile, I watch Kallisto by my side.
-
Good morning princess. I didn't want to wake you up —I tell her with my hands on the wheel, the morning birds sang and flew everywhere.
-
Good morning Baby. You didn't, it was that Muse song I've always liked. Have you downloaded it? – Says Kallisto with her delicate and feminine voice
— It's your phone that rings, mine has discharged
Kallisto takes her cell phone, she sends a text to her mom. “On my way to my new house. Write me. I'm sorry".
The car is silent. Kallisto's nails, approximately 5 cm longer than usual, make her look enigmatic as a forest creature with long, pointy nails. She stretches her arms over the seat and lets out a slight yawn. She wears skinny jeans, pink Nike-brand sneakers, and an orange sweatshirt that reads "YALE", the college where She studied to be Lawyer before to study Professional Make Up Career. Her platinum blonde hair frames her face, her long, tousled hair falling in waves over her chest. Her body is slender and thin and her face is like that of the models that appear in the magazines where she dreams of working so much. Her voice is as soft as a cat's caress and has an imperative and demanding tone that sounds very seductive when listening to it.
-
Put it back- Says with her mermaid voice
-
You really like that song. Music is our soul's way of telling us our most desperate needs.
Giannis stretches out his arm and repeats the song on the sound device. The horns flash blue and green colors in the back of Giannis' car, a late-model dark green BMW car. Muse's Madness plays on the player.
“ I don't know, it's just that I imagine that if I love someone it must feel similar to what the lyrics say. Madness ends up consuming us and we call it love.” Says Kallisto
"The first thing we're going to do is look for boys” I said pursing my lips, now that the sun hits her face squarely, Kallisto looks radiant, I make her laugh.
“ I don't want guys, I just want to find a job, make up artistic, and share my work.” She answers me smiling.
“Boys are a distraction, I don't need it. I want to focus.”
“Come on Baby K… Live a little, you're only 21”

Of me saying I want to climb him like a tree.
And he just. Texted. Back.
It's the dog's fault, really.
If this untrained Great Dane I'm walking had any manners at all, I never would've ended up here:
With my leash wrapped around the most gorgeous man I've ever seen.
Lucky for me, the guy is a good sport about it.
(Although his joke that “Dogs take after their owners” hits a little too close to home when Rufus starts humping his leg.)
He leaves me with his business card and a smile that makes my knees weak.
I'm still pinching myself as me and the bestie resume our walk.
“Methinks you had a little crush on him,” she accuses.
Not thinking and a little flustered by the whole experience, I reply, “I’d wrap my legs around his waist tighter than that leash.”
THAT'S when she reveals that she'd been recording my response.
THAT'S when she gives me the most devilish grin I've ever seen and says, “You're welcome.”
And THAT'S when she hands me my phone and reveals...
She sent the recording to him.
My heart is in my throat as those three little dots appear…
Then a text.
“PROVE IT.”
Tango 2 the Alpha's Heart
My gaze snapped to his. He was smiling, causing my heart to skip a painful beat. Before I could respond, the music began, and my body instinctively reacted to the sweet melody.
I found myself molded to Lex's will, my feet irresistibly following the dance steps.
The crowd gasped as Lex pulled me into a more intimate position, his hands roaming over my body in a seductive manner.
The experience was both terrifying and magical, allowing me to feel every longing emotion through the dance.
I soon found myself lost in his arms.
When the music finally stopped, my arms were wrapped around his neck, his hands resting on my back, our noses almost touching. He gazed deeply into my eyes.
The ballroom fell silent.
Was he about to kiss me?

And the empty chair at the council table, the one nobody sits in, the one nobody explains, has been waiting three hundred years for one specific person to arrive.
Nobody told Adaline she was that person. They classified her as Dormant. A blank space in a file. Nothing.
She is the opposite of nothing.
Beneath the campus, three ancient entities are waking up. Every house in the pack world wants to control what runs in her blood. The boy sent to assess her has stopped being able to do his job. And the woman who has been three steps ahead of everyone since before Adaline was born is not a villain. She is a warning. She is what Adaline would have become if nobody had found her.
The suppression field holding everything together is failing. The clock is running. And the only way to stop what is coming requires Adaline to give up the thing she can least afford to lose.
She already knows her answer. She decided before anyone told her the full price.

Thrown into Isteros Academy—a world of old money, blood money, and cruel social games—she's an outsider by birth and an afterthought by design. Her sister Solyn is the school's untouchable queen and Mara is her favorite target.

Instead, his dorm room sits directly across from hers, close enough that she can see his light go out at night. Some nights, he climbs the old maintenance trellis just to check on her. He teaches her chess. He shows up exactly when something's gone wrong—and never once asks to be thanked for it.
"Don't fall in love with one piece," he warns her, over a board neither of them treats like a game anymore. "It punishes the person who only sees half of it."
Mara doesn't understand why the boy who's supposed to make her life harder keeps quietly making it easier—not until she realizes the anonymous stranger she's been writing to every week already has a name.
His.
He doesn't know he's writing to her, either.
By the time they find out, it's too late to stop what's already happening. Far too dangerous for anyone to find out.
In an empty studio, in the middle of a rainstorm, she asks him: 'Am I the kind of girl who kisses a boy engaged to my sister?'
He doesn't answer.
So she asks: 'What are we?’
He told her not to fall in love with one piece.
She fell anyway.
And he was never far behind.

My Billionaire Husband's Secret
He was the CEO of the Blackwood Group — a man whose wealth and power eclipsed ninety-nine percent of the world.
He was gentle. Romantic. Attentive. I fell for him fast.
But a year into our marriage, I began to notice something — a pattern.
Lucas's sexual appetite was intense — he wanted me almost every night. Yet every single month, he arranged a solo trip to send me away. I told myself it was his way of spoiling me.
Then a message arrived from someone called Sweet An.
Do you really know your husband?
From that day on, my life filled with shadows.
I suspected my husband of having an affair.
When Lucas and I made love, something felt wrong — his body too large, too much, like something I couldn't explain.
I heard sounds during sex — animal sounds, like something feral had crawled into bed with us.
My best friend Mia said: "There are men sick enough to let dogs fuck their wives."
The family doctor, Daisy, told me: "You could never stay by Lucas's side forever. Your background doesn't make you worthy of being his wife. Do you understand?"
I went looking for whoever had been tearing my marriage apart. I fought to win my husband back.
But the deeper I searched, the larger the secret grew — something far darker hiding beneath this supposed betrayal.
Does Lucas truly love me?
And why, out of everyone in the world, did he choose to marry me?
