Introduction
Virgin Donor: Fifty Million Dollars.
I stared at the contract, my breath hitching as the numbers blurred before my eyes. Fifty million—for my virginity, my blood, my body.
I had no choice. To hunt down my father’s killer, I needed power. And Vampria Corp was the only door left open to me.
I signed away my freedom without ever seeing the monster who bought me.
That night, I was delivered to a pitch-black mansion, dressed in nothing but a thin hospital gown. Waiting for me was Thane—Vampire War Lord, executioner, legend. Beautiful. Merciless. His crimson eyes burned through the darkness.
“Strip.”
I thought I had misheard—until he repeated it.
Naked and trembling beneath his gaze, I realized I wasn’t a guest. I was property.
He didn’t touch me at first. He watched. Judged. Then, in a blink, I was pinned to the wall, his hand at my throat, his voice cold and cruel.
“When a slave begs,” he murmured, “it does so on all fours.”
I believed I had sold myself to be fed upon.
I was wrong.
Because my rare Ruby blood didn’t just tempt him—it awakened something savage inside a vampire who had slept for four hundred years.
And once the beast awoke, neither of us could escape what followed.

Chapter 1
Rubina POV
The sound of my phone ringing pierced through the air, and my slender fingers paused slightly in mid-air, stopping my relentless tapping on the keyboard in front of me.
With a deep sigh, I leaned back in my chair and raised my leg up to land on the table as my hand weaved through my hair.
At the same time, I plucked my phone off the table and glanced at the unknown caller before picking up the call and placing it to my ear.
"Hello? Hello? Can you hear me? If you can, please hurry up to Hilltop hospital, your father has been involved in an accident, and his condition is very critical..." The rest of the words of the panicked female on the other end of the phone faded into the background as I snapped up from my seat, my eyes, which were half-droopy with sleep, cleared immediately.
"I am on my way," I replied curtly into the phone, my heart thudding in my chest.
I hurriedly rushed towards my hanger and grabbed my coat before sliding into it.
I picked up my car keys and rushed out of my room, down the stairs, and into the garage.
I jumped into my car and pressed hard on the gas, speeding through the night and weaving through the Monday traffic as I tried to hold back my tears.
Somehow, I knew I would still get found out, but it being this soon? I knew this was just a warning, and I could only cross my fingers and hope that my father would be alright.
These thoughts ran through my head as my speedometer kept climbing up, and I raced up the hill towards the hospital, the darkness of the night seeming to blur around me.
As I arrived at the hospital, I rushed towards the receptionist desk. "Hello, I am here for Mr. Flynn..." I said, my voice laced with urgency.
"And you are?" The receptionist asked, looking at me from beneath her glasses.
"I am his daughter," I replied calmly, trying to hold my anger at bay.
"Go up the elevator, floor five, room sixty-two," she replied, barely acknowledging me, but I didn't care as I was already racing towards the elevator.
In the next second, the elevator dinged and began to open on the fifth floor.
I was already out, pushing people aside as I rushed forward, my eyes roughly scanning the rooms for my dad's room number.
But just then, I paused, and my eyes fixed on a particular room as the door was slammed open, and a patient was pushed out in a rolling bed with a white sheet covering the person from head to toe.
There was a sinking feeling in my gut, but I tried to push it aside as I pushed my keys into my pocket and dabbed my sweaty palms on my jeans. I walked closer, giving way for the nurses pushing the patient to pass by.
But my next breath seemed to be knocked out of my throat as my eyes landed on the room number where the patient had been brought out. Room sixty-two.
"No, no, no!" I cried out, my eyes widening in disbelief as I stumbled backwards, my body breaking out in sweat. The world around me seemed to spin, and I felt like I was losing my grip on reality.
“Stop! All of you, stop!” I cried out in pain as I rushed towards the nurses and pushed them aside.
They all moved aside, watching me, as I walked slowly towards the head of the covered patient. With slightly shaking hands, I pulled the white sheet off slightly, and it felt like electricity was zapped through my whole body as the sheet dropped from my hand in shock.
I saw the face that was staring right back at me. “Dad?” I croaked out, and the next thing was tears that blurred my eyes as I stumbled backwards.
The pale, purple bruised skin of my dad's face stared back at me, his once blazing red hair, just like mine, now wet and hung limply on his head.
I watched, frozen in place in shock, as I watched the nurses pull back the cover and continue to push the body out of the ward.
I remained seated there on the cold, tiled floor as the chill seeped into my bones, making them feel biting on my skin. The silence was deafening, and I felt like I was in a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from.
At first, my emotions were that of disbelief and grief, but slowly, as the tickling tears from my eyes dried out, they were filled with nothing but anger and bloodthirst.
My heart felt like it was burning with a pain that words could not describe. “I chose to leave this life behind me, but it has come for me. Whoever did this wouldn't go scot-free, Dad.” I said coldly against the quiet corridor, my voice barely above a whisper.
My words hung in the air, and I felt a sense of determination to make those responsible pay for what they had done.
My eyes narrowed, and my jaw clenched, as I sat there, my mind blank as I remained seating on the white tiles of the hospital.
Nurses and patient moved around, bit I remained stiff sitting still, with my red eyes that had been dried up of tears facing the tiles with my head in my hand.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Balance of Light and Shadow
