Rosie Meachem · Ongoing · 78.2k Words
Introduction
"Yes, he's going to be a father and I a mother. I guess you will never know how good it feels to have a tiny pup growing in your belly." Anna gloated smugly at Della.
Xavier, the alpha of the Silver Moon Pack, finds himself torn between duty and love. His heart belongs to Luna, a kind-hearted and loyal pack member, but his desires lead him astray towards Anna, a manipulative omega seeking power.
Luna, heartbroken by Xavier's betrayal, curses him and walks away from the pack. As she settles in the city, Luna discovers that she is pregnant with Xavier's children. Fueled by anger and a desire for revenge against Anna and Xavier, Luna vows to raise her babies on her own terms and make them strong enough to challenge the pack that betrayed her.
Meanwhile, Xavier uncovers Anna's lies about her pregnancy and realizes the depth of her deceit. Driven by guilt and a longing to make amends with Luna, Xavier sets out to find her and seek her forgiveness. However, as he delves deeper into the city, Xavier realizes the extent of the damage caused by his choices and wonders if it's too late to repair the broken bond with Luna.
In the city, Luna meets a mysterious man who offers her a chance at a new life outside the pack. Drawn to his kindness and understanding, Luna begins to soften her heart and open herself up to the possibility of love once again. But when Xavier finally locates Luna, will their reunion bring closure and healing, or will the wounds of the past be too deep to mend?
Chapter 1
Xavier stood in front of his Luna with a heavy heart, the words he had rehearsed repeatedly now stuck in his throat. Luna looked up at him with hopeful eyes, searching for any sign that he still cared for her. But all Xavier could see was his mistress, Anna, waiting for him in the shadows.
"Luna, I... I can't be with you," Xavier finally managed to say, his voice cracking with emotion.
Della's expression fell, her hand reaching out towards him as if to catch him before he fell. "Why?" she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Xavier hesitated, torn between his duty as a werewolf alpha and his feelings for Anna. He knew he had to choose one, and he knew that Luna deserved better than to be in a relationship with someone who couldn't give her his whole heart.
"I... I have found someone else," Xavier admitted, his voice barely audible.
Luna's eyes widened in shock, the realisation of what Xavier was saying hitting her like a ton of bricks. "Who?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Xavier struggled to meet her gaze, but eventually, he forced himself to look into her eyes. "Anna," he said, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.
Luna's face crumbled, tears welling up in her eyes. "Anna," she repeated, disbelief evident in her voice. "Your mistress?"
Xavier nodded, feeling the weight of his decision settle heavily on his shoulders. "I'm sorry, Luna. I can't be with you when my heart belongs to someone else."
Luna stepped back, her hand flying to her mouth as if to stifle a sob. "I can't believe this," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Xavier reached out to touch her, to offer comfort, but Luna stepped further away from him as if his touch would burn her. "Please, Luna. I never meant for this to happen. I never meant to hurt you," Xavier pleaded, his voice thick with emotion.
Luna shook her head, her tears falling freely now. "I thought you loved me," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
Xavier closed his eyes, the guilt of his actions weighing heavily on him. "I did love you, Luna. I still do. But I can't deny the feelings I have for Anna. I'm sorry," he said, his voice breaking with emotion.
Luna turned away from him, unable to bear the sight of the man she had once loved choosing someone else over her. "I can't do this," she said, her voice thick with tears.
Xavier watched as Luna walked away, her shoulders hunched in defeat. He knew he had made a terrible mistake, but he couldn't bring himself to regret choosing Anna over Luna. He knew that Anna was the one he truly loved, who held his heart in her hands.
As Xavier turned to walk towards the shadows where Anna stood waiting for him, a sense of peace settled over him. He knew he had made the right decision, no matter the cost, for Anna was not mate but had fallen pregnant and completed him in ways that Luna never could.
"Then I, Della, reject you, Xavier, as my mate and alpha of the silver moon pack. May you live peacefully in hell with your bitch." Della spat in disgust at the man who had been her everything since she met him at thirteen years old.
As Luna's words rang in his ears, Xavier felt a pang of regret and guilt wash over him. He knew he had hurt Luna deeply, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had made a grave mistake. But as he turned towards Anna, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and happiness, knowing that he was finally with the one he truly loved.
Anna reached out to him, a smile on her lips as she pulled him into an embrace. "I'm so glad you chose me, Xavier," she whispered, her voice filled with genuine happiness.
Xavier held her close, burying his face in her hair as he tried to ignore the nagging feeling of guilt in his mind. He knew he had to push those thoughts aside if he wanted to embrace his life with Anna fully.
But no matter how hard he tried to convince himself that he had made the right choice, Xavier couldn't shake the image of Luna's tear-stained face from his mind. He couldn't silence the voice of doubt whispered in his ear, questioning his decision to let go of the woman who had once held his heart.
Xavier felt his heart shatter as the words of Della’s rejection struck him. He couldn’t bring himself to say the words of accepting her rejection, but he caught sight of Anna in the shadows glaring at him. "Do it." she mouthed at him, pointing to her belly.
I, Alpha Xavier of the Silver Moon pack, accept your rejection, Luna Della of the Silver Moon pack."
Xavier's voice trembled as he recited the words, his eyes locked with his Luna's, filled with sorrow and regret. He felt a heavy weight settle in his chest as he pronounced the acceptance of Luna's rejection, knowing that his heart would forever ache for her. His Wolf remained out of sight, angered at him for getting another pregnant.
Luna Della’s eyes glistened with unshed tears, a mix of sadness and bitterness evident in her gaze. She nodded silently, her jaw clenched to hold back her emotions. The pain of losing Xavier, the man she had loved with all her heart, was a wound that would take time to heal, but she knew she would come back stronger.
As Xavier turned to walk away, Anna approached him, a triumphant smile playing on her lips. "You made the right choice, Xavier. She was holding you back," she whispered, her words like poison in his ears. "Our baby can grow up happy in our new family, Xavier." Luna Della’s ears pricked up at those words, and she let out an angry growl.
"So, she’s pregnant with your heir, is she?" Della raised her eyebrows as it all started to make sense. She had tried for months to get pregnant, but it hadn’t happened, and now she knew why.
"Yes, he’s going to be a father and I'm a mother. You will never know how good it feels to have a tiny pup growing in your belly." Anna gloated smugly at Della as she held on tightly to Xavier's arm.
Xavier's heart sank as he heard Anna's words, a jolt of realisation running through him. A wave of guilt washed over him as he thought about the consequences of his actions, not just on Luna but potentially on the child she was carrying.
"Then I will go, but let me tell you something, omega Anna. The moon goddess will punish you, bringing you to your knees and begging for forgiveness and redemption. You will never be as loved and adored as I am by the Silver Moon pack members. You are merely a weakened omega using the alpha to gain power. You will never be a true luna, and your baby will be a curse, not a blessing and as for you, Xavier. Shame on you. From this moment forward, I cut all ties with you and this pack. Your parents would be ashamed of you if they were still alive. Goodbye, Xavier." And, with those words, Luna Della turned away, leaving Xavier and Anna in shock.
"I hope you don't live to regret this decision, Alpha Xavier." came the words from his very own Beta , a warning laced with disappointment.
Xavier felt a pang of regret and guilt wash over him once more, a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. He knew he had made a grave mistake, choosing Anna over Luna and letting his desires cloud his judgement. He knew that Luna was right about Anna, that she was only using him for power and that their child would be a burden, not a blessing.
As he watched Luna walk away, her figure disappearing into the night, Xavier felt a sense of loss and sadness wash over him. He knew that he had lost something truly special in Luna, a love that he may never find again. And as he turned to face Anna, he couldn't help but wonder if he had just made the biggest mistake of his life.
But as Anna wrapped her arms around him, a smug smile on her face, Xavier pushed those thoughts aside. He had made his choice, for better or for worse, and he would have to live with the consequences.

On this day, I lost my husband and also lost the child in my womb...
I Loved You in Silence, You Betrayed Me in French
At my birthday party, my husband whispered to his mistress in French that he missed her. His voice was low, but I heard it all—the black lingerie, the bit about how pregnancy makes you more sensitive. His French clients around us were laughing. He turned and put his arm around me, claiming he was just helping his clients come up with sweet nothings.
He doesn't know I understand every single word. Just like he doesn't know that inside my body, I'm carrying his other surprise. And his mistress—she's pregnant too. Two wombs, one secret.
Confrontation would be too cheap. Tears are worthless. I quietly started cataloging the hidden networks my father left behind, activating the Swiss accounts.
In seven days, Zoey Smith will cease to exist. And what will my husband's reaction be?
He Never Loved Me, Until I Left
I put away the divorce agreement with a wry smile.
When he and my son completely disappeared, he finally panicked.
Three months later .
He knelt down on the streets of Chicago in despair, begging me to remarry him.
My six-year-old son looked coldly at his biological father and said, "Get lost, you bad uncle! You don't deserve to be my dad!"
When I Disappeared, He Regretted It
The moment the screen lit up, my entire world came crashing down.
The woman on the bed was Calista - that girl who grew up with us since we were kids. And that hand caressing her skin was wearing the wedding ring I had personally put on Matteo's finger.
"I've missed you so much..."
"You drive me crazy, baby..."
Those sweet words I knew so well completely destroyed me.
Everyone said we were the perfect couple, but who knew this marriage was built on nothing but lies?
Since he's so good at acting, I guess it's time I gave him a show of my own. I'm going to make sure everyone sees what this "perfect husband" really is...
He Thought I'd Never Leave
When he said he was being bullied, I believed him. When he kissed me on that rooftop, I thought he felt the same. When he asked me to transfer schools with him, I said yes without hesitation.
Then I heard him bragging to his friends: "She'd save her first time for me. Hell, she'd still be thinking of me on her wedding night."
The bullying was staged. The kiss meant nothing. He just wanted me gone—so his new girl could feel more comfortable.
He thought I'd beg. He thought I'd cry. He thought I'd never actually leave.
I left the country.
And ran straight into his stepbrother.
I Died While They Threw Her a Party
Their real daughter came home. She'd only been back two years. That's all it took to erase twenty-four.
When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.
My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"
"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."
They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.
I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.
But when they finally learned the truth, they fell apart.
Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
The Kidney That Killed Me
A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.
When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.
When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
