Chapter 1
Third person POV
“I love you Hazel”.
His sweet voice rang like a melodious song in her ears, magnifying the butterflies in her belly.
Hazel and Kael have been really good friends since they were little and although her step sister, Raina Vaine hated the fact that Hazel had the attention of the future alpha of the pack, all her attempts to get close to him and ruin their relationship, failed badly.
Finally, Kael was twenty one and Hazel was turning eighteen the next day. They were both finally of age and couldn't wait to see if the moon goddess would tie their souls as mates.
The day before her birthday was the night of the full moon, and he finally decided to get rid of his nervousness and express how he feels towards her.
“I know your birthday is tomorrow, but I don't care if the moon goddess makes you my mate or not. I love you, and I want to be with you.
So Hazel… will you be my girlfriend”?
He asked and Hazel's eyes brimmed so brightly as she immediately nodded with a smile as though she had been waiting for this moment all her life.
He smiled happily before he leaned in and kissed her.
His intention was to give her a light kiss, not wanting to rush anything but his wolf wasn't having it. Having felt her soft lips on his, his wolf wasn't ready to stop anymore, so it decided to take advantage of the full moon and take control as it went in even more.
His heart was beating in fright at first as he didn't want to do anything that would push her away. But seeing that she didn't resist, he decided to relax and show her just how much he cared about her.
Soon, a night that started off as an innocent confession between two young werewolves turned into a night of passion and pleasure.
The next morning, Hazel woke up to the sound of her phone buzzing.
She turned to the other side of the bed just to see Kael Damon, the love of her life, the man who made life worth living, and now… her boyfriend lying next to her.
“I can't wait to tell Cathy”.
She said in a silent whisper as she giggled with her toes curled in excitement before picking up her phone but the next minute, her eyes darkened and the hair on her skin rose in horror
“Come here silently or the man you love, dies”.
Hazel turned to Kael with panic on her face and then looked back to the text. She quietly picked up her clothes, dressed up and left for the address that was sent.
It was an abandoned building, and when she got in, she saw Kael's mom dragging her body on the floor, trying to reach for his father who was already dead.
Hazel rushed to the woman and held her up
“burn… tattoo…”
His mom said and with her weak hand, put something in Hazel's hand before she finally let out her last breath.
Hazel was shaking so bad, she gently dropped the woman on the floor and looked at her body. Fear gripped her as she was covered in so much blood.
Swallowing hard, she looked at the side and saw a dagger. She picked it up and noticed it was laced with wolvesbane.
“This was an intended assassination”.
she said, her eyes looking around to see if she would see anyone, but the place was empty.
She walked towards his dad, standing above his corpse to see if she could find any hint.
But just then, Kael and his beta, Miguel walked in, causing Hazel to turn to them.
Kael's eyes open wide as his heart kept beating up and down. He didn't want to believe that the woman he had loved all this while, the woman he finally confessed his love to and shared a passionate night with last night had just killed his parents in cold blood.
Hazel dropped the dagger and rushed towards him.
“Kael…”
She called, but when she was close enough, he pushed her with a force so strong she could die before even landing.
The push sent her flying as she hit her back against the wall. His beta gasped, a bit shocked as that push could have easily killed anyone. He controlled himself, stopping himself from rushing over to help her as he knew Kael would have his head.
Hazel coughed out a huge chunk of blood and even though a part of Kael wanted to rush over and tell her he didn't mean to push her that hard, the body of his parents lying in front of him made him think otherwise.
Kael, a werewolf so strong he could destroy an army with his bare hands.
A man who really showed his emotions, fell to his knees as tears poured from his eyes.
He roared out in pain and the building shook.
Not only did he just lose his parents, but he lost them to the only woman he has ever loved.
Hazel tried to stand up so she could explain the whole situation to him.
She limped as she tried to get closer to him.
“Kael, it's not what you think, I would never…”
She was still trying to explain when he cut her off.
“I hate you”.
The words slipped out as he looked at his mother's lifeless body, but his heart sank.
As soon as she heard that, she moved back a bit with her lips slightly parted in pain.
Just then, the sun shined into the abandoned house and the string of fate connected them, binding them and declaring them mates.
But as soon as Kael saw this, he growled in anger and stood to his feet.
“The moon goddess must have lost her damn mind!
But it's fine, I'll help her fix the mistake she just made”.
He said as he raised his head and looked at her
“You killed my parents and ruined my life. Hazel, I Kael Damon, rejects you as my mate”.
Hazel shook her head as her eyes opened wide.
“No, I never did that, Kael just hear me out, I would never do that. You're mistaken…”
She tried so desperately to explain but Kael seemed to have completely misunderstood.
“Fate may have chosen you, but I never will. I was a fool to have thought a tribreed monster like you actually loved me”.
He said, unable to look her in the eyes.
Tears poured out of Hazel's eyes.
All her life, she has lived with the loneliness, pain, and judgment that came with being different.
Her father, stepmother, and stepsister, always reminded her of the beast she was and even some members of the pack often stayed away from her, but never had it ever hurt like this.
Hearing it from him was a different type of torture.
“You are my mate… and my biggest mistake”.
Hazel held her chest in pain as each word hit harder than the last.
“Leave, if I ever set my eyes on you again, I'll kill you myself”.
As soon as he said that, he walked away and she fell to the ground as tears poured out uncontrollably.
She couldn't understand how everything could have fallen apart in hours.
The string that connected them broke into pieces and the sun turned blood red instantly.
Hazel held her chest in pain as she cried out loud.
Kael heard her cry from outside and paused but he didn't turn back. Miguel immediately stopped as well and asked
“Are you okay alpha Kael”?
He asked and Kael looked at him, trying to hide the hurt that came with his words.
“She has twenty four hours to leave the pack, I never want to see her again”.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
