I Refuse to Be the Heir's Blood Bag
Fiona · Completed · 5.9k Words
Introduction
He vowed to me with deep affection that as long as I safely gave birth to the Gu family's first grandson, this wild girl raised in an orphanage would finally become the respected Mrs. Gu.
I always believed this was his effort for our shared future, irrefutable proof of his deep love for me.
Until I accidentally overheard a secret conversation between him and his lawyer in the study.
"Though Wu Qian is low-born, she has a strong body. Using her as a pregnancy vessel guarantees a robust eldest grandson."
"After she gives birth, we'll fabricate a case of postpartum depression and send her to a psychiatric hospital. Keep the child, get rid of the mother. A foolproof deal, isn't it?"
At this point, the lawyer mentioned a name: Song Ya.
The moment he heard that name, Gu Cheng's voice immediately softened.
"Yaya has been pampered since childhood. How could I bear to let her suffer the ordeal of childbirth, which is half a step through death's door?"
In that instant, the marital dream I had poured everything into shattered into pieces.
I withdrew my hand, frozen mid-air, stroked my bulging pregnant belly, turned around, and dialed the pre-booked private clinic.
"Doctor, an abortion procedure. How soon can it be done?"
Chapter 1
On the 300th day of my marriage to Aaron Hill, he routinely fed me expensive progesterone medication every day.
He promised me affectionately that as long as I safely gave birth to the Hill family's first grandson, I—an orphan who grew up in an orphanage—would finally become the respected Mrs. Hill.
I had always believed that he was working hard for our shared future, that this was proof of his deep love for me.
Until I accidentally overheard his private conversation with his lawyer, John Davis, in the study.
"Wendy Bailey may be of lowly status, but she has a strong body. Using her as a breeding vessel, my child will surely be healthy."
"After she gives birth, we'll fake postpartum depression and send her to a mental institution. We keep the child—it's a sure win, isn't it?"
John mentioned a name at that moment: Aria Clark.
The instant he heard that name, Aaron's voice immediately softened.
"Aria has been pampered since childhood. How could I bear to let her suffer through something as dangerous as childbirth?"
In that moment, the beautiful dream of marriage I had woven with everything I had shattered into pieces.
I pulled back my hand frozen in mid-air, touched my swollen belly, turned around and called the private clinic I had already contacted.
"Doctor, the abortion procedure—when's the earliest you can do it?"
Chapter 1
After hanging up,
I calmly walked to the vanity and pulled open the drawer.
All the jewelry Aaron had given me, along with their boxes, I threw into the trash can at my feet.
The bedroom door opened.
Aaron wrapped his arms around me from behind, but his hands moved past my waist to rest on my swollen belly.
"Why aren't you sleeping yet?"
"The doctor said your condition is good, but you still need more rest. Don't affect the baby."
His tone was gentle, like a perfect husband.
I forced down the churning in my stomach and didn't expose him.
"Tomorrow afternoon, I want to go to my prenatal checkup alone."
Aaron's hand suddenly froze.
"No."
"There's an important dinner tomorrow. You need to come with me."
I frowned.
"The doctor said I've been showing signs of miscarriage recently. I shouldn't go to those social events."
Aaron got up, pulled out a dress from the closet, and threw it on the bed.
"Just show your face."
"Everyone in our circle knows I'm about to have an heir. If you don't go, what will people think of me?"
"Put it on. Don't make me say it twice."
He didn't care at all whether that tight dress would squeeze my belly.
He only cared whether I, this "breeding vessel," could perfectly display his trophy to the outside world.
The dinner the next evening.
Aaron's friends looked me up and down.
"Mr. Hill is so lucky. Women who grew up in orphanages really do have strong bodies—got pregnant so easily."
"Exactly. We haven't seen this kind of story—climbing up to a rich man through pregnancy—in our circle for a while."
"Wendy's figure, still so sexy even pregnant. No wonder Mr. Hill's been having such a good time every night."
The men's dirty jokes were completely unrestrained.
I looked at Aaron beside me.
Not only did he not defend me, he actually chuckled.
"Being able to give me a son is her good fortune."
My heart grew even colder.
Just then, the door to the private room suddenly burst open.
A woman in a white dress stumbled in.
It was Aria.
Aaron's first love.
Her eyes were red.
"Aaron, there's a drunk man outside. He ran into me."
Aaron's expression changed instantly.
He strode over and pulled Aria behind him.
"Who dares to hurt you?"
Outside the door, a man reeking of alcohol cursed as he walked over.
"You bitch, you bumped into me and dare to run!"
The man was holding half of a broken glass bottle and threw it at Aria.
I instinctively stepped back, trying to dodge.
But at that moment, to protect Aria behind him, Aaron reflexively grabbed me and pulled.
The broken glass pierced my arm.
Blood immediately gushed out.
I clutched my arm as sharp pain hit me.
Aaron didn't even glance at me.
He was softly comforting Aria in his arms.
"It's okay, Aria. Don't be scared. I'm here."
People around quickly moved forward to restrain the drunk man.
Only then did Aaron turn his head and glance at my bleeding arm.
"It's just a small wound. Go to the bathroom and bandage it yourself."
"Don't dirty the carpet. You still need to toast later."
His tone was like he was dismissing a dog.
I gritted my teeth and walked out of the private room.
As I passed the lounge at the end of the hallway, the door was slightly ajar.
Aria's sweet voice came from inside.
"Aaron, you brought her today—are you really planning to make her your wife?"
"After she has the baby, will you not want me anymore?"
Aaron chuckled softly.
"Silly girl, what are you thinking?"
"She's nothing but a breeding vessel."
"Once she's on the delivery table, she dies after giving birth."
"The position of Mrs. Hill will always be yours."
I stood outside the door, listening to the flirting sounds from inside.
I took out my phone and opened the number with no name saved.
"Doctor, the sooner the surgery, the better."

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
