Chapter 1
"Come on princess , daddy loves you very much," Mr Conni spoke in a low voice that almost sounded like a whisper .
"Daddy, no.. no.. I don't want you to do this to me.." Cara moved away from her father, she was now in touch with the wall and she couldn't move away any further.
"Princess, all daddys do this to their daughters to show how much they love them, please make daddy feel good. "
Cara couldn't allow her daddy fo to her what he has been doing for the past seven years. She felt it was disgusting.
She had read somewhere that the things Mr Conni was doing to her was only to be fine by married couples. Why was Mr Conni insisting that it was his way of showing how much he loved her?
"Do you wanna me to run away the way your dad did? Mr Conni asked ?
" No daddy , I don't want you to run away from us, " Cara said.
She didn't want the father she loved to leave her mother. When her real father left them, all she prayed and wished for was to get a father who loved her and her mother wholeheartedly .
" If you don't want me to leave you, your mother and sister, then you have to do what I say. It don't take long, " he said with unexplainable desire in his eyes.
Mr Conni pulled Cara close to him, with a weird smile on his face . Cara couldn't resist, her body felt weak.
All she could think of was that she couldn't allow her dad do those things to her.
Cara could clearly see a certain part of his trouser bulged. She wasn't surprised , it wasn't the first time seeing her father like that.
With a weird smile on his face, Mr Conni pulled down his trousers, Cara looked away.
"Don't act as if this is the first time you are doing this, do you like it Princess?"
Cara couldn't utter a single word, tears rolled down her cheeks.
Mr Conni hungrily pulled her and ripped her clothes . Cara gasped .
Why did he rip her clothes? Did he want to do the real act to her?
For the past seven years, all he did was to touch her private parts and stuff his thing her mouth
He would them ask her to lick it as if she was licking a lollipop. After minutes, a white liquid would come out of his thing while he was groaning with enjoyment.
Mr Conni would then wipe her mouth, hug her tightly and leave her room. He used to tell her not to tell anyone about it or else her mother would blame her for not obeying her daddy.
As much as she could recall , the bible clearly narrated that children should oney their parents for it was the only commandment with a promise.
Being the Pastor in the church, her father had always stressed on that bible verse. Mr Conni was respected by everyone in the church for having such perfect family, happy and blooming.
Cara was brought back to reality when he forcefully pushed her legs apart .
In her mind, she couldn't let anything happen to her.
Her eyes caught sight of the fruit knife on the table beside her bed. She had carried it to her room to cut an apple when she got home from school and before she could do so, her daddy came knocking at her door.
When Mr Conni's mind was fully occupied by how much he wanted to feel nice,Cara stretched out her hand and picked the knife.
She didn't want to do this ,she closed her eyes and stabbed him on his chest and Mr Conni fell on the ground, blood flowing from his chest.
"Cara !" The next thing she heard was her mother's scream.
"You will pay for this," her added.
"Mummy, I didn't ..." Cara wanted to say something but she didn't know what to say when she was holding the knife with blood on her right hand. She couldn't let go of the knife.
She didn't want to kill her daddy, she just didn't want him to do that thing to her.
Couldn't her mother see that Mr Conni's trouser was down meaning her was trying to rape her or she just assumed it?
The next thing she could hear was the sound of an ambulance wailing.
Three doctors rushed I'm and carried Mr Conni away. Her mouth threw a glance at her and left with the doctors.
Cara dropped the knife down. No one dared to ask or check if she was okey. The house was silent and she was there all by herself.
She sat on the floor, and she only had one thought in her mind, she had killed, she was a murderer and she would go to prison.
With her head between her hands,she could feel someone's presence in the room, she raised her head only to see three armed police men standing there.
We're they there to take her to prison?
"Lady, you are under arrest for attempted murder," one of the policemen said. "You have the right to remain silent or whatever you said can be used against you in the court of law," hr added.
What could she say when all the evidence pointed towards her. The best she could do was to accept her fate.
Cara was handcuffed and taken away.
Cara some up her whole body covered on sweat. She looked around only to realize that she was still I'm her small metallic bed in her cell room .
It has been twelve years since the incident occured and she is still having the same dream.
Cara has been sleeping in this tiny room for the past 11 years,11 months and 29 days.
She never lost count of days since the day she was brought here .
She only had one day before she could finish her 12 years term of imprisonment. Cara was brought here when she was only twelve years, and now she is twenty four.
Over this period,she grew from a small girl to a young woman.
She never heard of anything from her family because no one visited her for the twelve years that she was in prison.
What she was quite sure about was that her father didn't die.
After the incident , Cara wasn't taken through trial, she didn't have the chance to explain what really transpired. She was imprisoned directly.
