Introduction
Yes, I wanted him so bad that my body could still feel his touch for days.
I wanted to escape, to flee from the pain and hide in the darkness but he found me. That monster, Luca, found me and he broke me, not once, not twice. Several times.
But for every time that I try to resist him, I still find myself needing him to break me again and again. Signing myself to him was my greatest mistake.
But letting him break me was all I ever wanted.
Chapter 1
Luca’s pov:
“Let’s not do this now Luca please, the kids are upstairs” she pleaded, palms tightly squeezed together like she was praying for mercy.
Well, she was, only that I wasn't really paying attention. I was never the one to grant mercy.
I took a quick scan at the house. The worn-out green colored walls were enough to make me throw up and the furniture looked much worse. And here I was wondering what I'd get from her and her filthy husband.
“I still wonder what Andrew did with the money he stole from me. He couldn't even impress me by getting you out of this dumpster.” I commented, each word dripping with disgust.
Maria sniffed, I turned to see that she had been crying. Oh my God, I wasn't ready to be sympathetic to the old hag.
“I know he didn't run away intentionally, he just—”
“He left you. Yeah I completely understand that now" I scoffed, taking out a cigarette out of my breast pocket, lighting it up and settling it on my lips.
I didn't know what irked me more. If it was the fact that Maria was once one of my father's favorite workers or the fact that she aided in my family's destruction.
Well she mostly served us for like thirty-five years, so technically I have known the hag almost all my teenage life.
It was all good until she decided to elope with Andrew, my father's sworn enemy. Their union led to a series of bloodshed that eventually dragged Dad into it which ultimately led to his death.
Now, I'm here to cleanse them of their stinkiness and stain my hands with their sins. It's usually what I do best.
My plan was, get here, take my money and waste the Valencias but now, it was looking like I'd have a quick switch in plans.
The pathetic Andrew was nowhere to be seen and Maria wasn't saying things I needed to hear. I had to come up with something fast.
The last thing I needed was a family of pity parties sneaking around my city with my bounty on their heads. They had to be wiped clean, at least to my satisfaction.
“Maria” I started as I pulled out my gun and trailed it slowly up her temple. She shook horribly under the feeling of it, merely telling by the sight of the gun, it was enough to send her to hell.
And I wasn't one to leave any trace when I made my mark. That would be so unprofessional of my very well known name.
“Where’s Andrew?” My voice was now harder and cold.
“If I should ask this again, your kids will end up with a headless mother, so be a good hag and tell me where he is.”
Maria shook her head like a spineless lizard, this caused my throat to itch in frustration.
“I really don't know where he is. I just woke up a few days ago to discover that he had disappeared” she babbled, beads of sweat formed on both sides of her face.
I badly wanted to pull the trigger and send her brains spewing all over the room to satisfy my urgent taste for blood.
That would be my welcoming gift to him and a sign that his wretched days are over. It took two more puffs and a grunt for me to reluctantly slip the gun back into my pocket.
“I would have to take your kids with me. Turn them into my mini henchmen, make them spill some blood for me—” the creaking of the front door stopped me.
Suddenly pausing my words, I stared at Maria like I could sense a sneaky set-up. I pulled my gun back out, setting it to launch into the brains of whoever it was.
But she began waving her hands to stop me “Don’t shoot, it's my niece. She went out to get food for the kids” she shuddered, her hair now fully falling in her face as she spoke.
So I waited. The creaking at the door stopped and it opened, a petty figure slurk its way into the room and I stood face to face with my living doom.
A woman. Not just any woman, Selena Fabrizio. The woman that almost led to me being dethroned.
“Aunt Maria” came in her soothing voice as she walked in. I drew back into the darkness, waiting for her to emerge fully.
The moment she saw Maria crawled on the ground, dropping the packages on the floor, she rushed to her side and quickly began examining her.
“Zia, are you hurt? Was anyone here?” She flustered, her hands trembling and moving all over Maria's face. But Maria kept shaking her head and tapping her like she was about to send out a quick warning.
“Luca is—”
“Here to take your tainted soul mi amor” I pronounced as I stepped back into the small light of the room for Selena to fully absorb me. The panicked look on her face instantly switched to horror.
Slowly raising to her feet, Selena’s fist clenched firmly like she was ready to throw several punches at me.
“You! How dare you—”
I smirked, “That’s not how you welcome an ex-lover, but it's nice to meet you too, again.”
Selena glanced at Maria and back to me, it was very obvious that she wasn't happy to see me.
Well, that's what you get when you disappear after a long steamy night in a supposed strangers bed, only that we weren't strangers.
Looking at her, I could still hear her begging me to take her, to claim her and to send her into my abyss of sweet pleasure.
Seeing her now, her black pale dress did nothing to match the short, red strapless dress I tore from her body that night, it just didn't look like her.
Fuck, I could still hear her enticing moans.
“So this is where you decided to lay low, with the Valencias? Love, you could've gone anywhere else” I mocked, a faint grin surfacing on my lips.
A part of me was still unable to process the fact that she was related to these low-lives. The bitch looked too stunning to be this close to them and, hell I wanted to know why.
Selena quickly took out a pocket knife and itched it towards me, using her left arm to get Maria to stay behind her.
I laughed, “What are you trying to do?”
“Stay away from her. Get out of here Luca!" She was frenzied, still keeping a good distance between us and Maria.
“Not without getting what I want.”
Her eyes narrowed up in curiosity, “How selfish can you be? You have everything and even more than enough, still you want to take from those who have nothing left…..Jesus, Mr Marciano.”
Something about how she said my name didn't make me feel good. It sounded so distasteful and unpleasant, especially when it was coming from her.
Bitch, I once fucked you till you winced and begged. And if I could do that right now, I would instantly pin her to the chair in Maria's presence and show her how naughty her niece is.
“And there you are trying to play the hero. The only thing is, in my world, there are no heroes. Just me and my gun and the people that I'm about to send to hell.”
With that, I cocked my gun and sent two bullets flying into Maria's head.
The loud thud had Selena gasping, her hand over her mouth and her eyes wide-eyed in shock, only tears managed to make up for the muffled screams.
I lowered myself near her and whispered, “make sure to show your uncle, Andrew my welcoming gift and tell him to drop you off at the warehouse within 72 hours or the kids are next.”
Not waiting for her to turn back to look at me, I opened the door and disappeared back into the darkness of the city.
