Psola Gloss · Ongoing · 30.2k Words
Introduction
I thought I'd find my mate two years after discovering what wolf I was and my rank, but even after turning 31, I still hadn't met my mate.
Luckily for me, during the third-year students' graduation, I found out that my mate was a student of mine.
Without considering our age difference, he fell in love with me, doted on me, but it was all a facade.
He rejected me on his coronation day and chose an eligible she-wolf, one below my rank.
So it was never about the rank.
Things got worse. My father died, a traitor. My siblings, mother, and I, we were all sentenced to suffer our father's sin.
Until the Alpha King came to me personally and made a deal with me.
“Marry the evil Lycan King, bring peace to this pack, and I'll let your family live as they used to in the pack.”
That evil wolf? That man? I can't.
But when I looked at my family and the man who used me and rejected me, I accepted without thinking.
Now, I stand at the gate of his kingdom, offering myself as prey to the predator.
Chapter 1
The third year in Alpha Prime academy was the year the alphas in my class, whom I had been training for a year, turned twenty-one.
Once the moon was out, as long as the alpha was born in that year, he received his wolf, and with all the training that he had gotten from the age of twelve, he put it into action for another year. Then a coronation took place after he had proven himself as a worthy alpha to his pack.
That night at the banquet, I watched my students dance in the hall as they graduated to their final year in Alpha Prime Academy. I trained alpha princes from different packs, and I had sixteen students at that time.
I had never been close to any students like I was with my current students who were now leaving.
As much as I wanted them to stay, they had to move to their final class, and only the top-ranked wolf could train the students of that class—the final class. And I wasn't a top-ranked wolf. I was a second-ranked wolf.
So it was time to step down and trained the next set of students.
I had walked out of the great hall, leaving behind the music and laughter because I was trying to avoid my princes. They were all flirts, and they broke my heart by dancing with princesses. They thought I didn't see them.
It wasn't new for students of mine to flirt with me even though I was far older. I didn't appear as old as I was because of my appearance, skin, and stature.
I looked slender and timid on the outside, but my wolf was more powerful than what anyone saw on the outside, and that was my power. My strength. My pride.
At the end of the never-ending corridor was a golden oak door, which I pushed open to behold the moonlit royal garden where roses swayed in the night breeze.
I didn't read many books, but the garden reminded me of the books I read. Dreamy and imaginary.
Crickets chirped from the shadows while insects buzzed softly among the flowers. Their sounds filled the quiet night.
The thought of being alone in this space made me excited, made my wolf excited.
So I raked my hand through the flowers as I walked between them, humming the music that was playing at the banquet.
I swirled.
I was thirty-one years old and still hadn't found my mate. I had been on adventures, travelled through different packs, but no one.
I felt no string. I perceived no bond. Every moment, I was left hoping, hoping for something impossible.
But I had a job and a family of seven. I was never alone, even while I was alone, craving romance and love, or safety.
What was a woman without a man? What was a she-wolf without her he-wolf? That was my world.
Female wolves blessed by the Moon Goddess with either a red-eyed wolf, silver-eyed wolf, white-furred wolf, or silver-furred wolf had been assigned as trainers in Alpha Prime Academy, the only academy that existed for werewolves in the entire world, and it was only meant for royal he-wolves.
To train them before they received their wolves at twenty-one, and then they'd spend their final year using what they have learned to activate their wolves and prove their worth.
I always felt that such a law and strategy wasn't right.
Only two out of ten women were blessed with special wolves, which was why we trained nonstop and ended up becoming teachers.
Everything eventually summed up to being useful to the he-wolves.
Unfortunately, as powerful as I was as a white-furred wolf, second-rank, I was only useful in the academy and as much as I wanted to live my life enjoying the night breeze in the garden, I needed a man to survive.
Papa was getting old and would retire soon. Who would cater for my siblings, my mother and me when he became jobless?
I could get married to a man who wasn't my mate, but I hoped. I wanted to fall in love. I wanted my mate.
Or had the Moon Goddess forgotten about me?
The full moon hung like a silver jewel in the night sky, its gentle glow washing over everything below.
It was time.

The Unwritten Princess
My name is Mia, and everything I touch is dying.
The flowers beneath my mother's window turned black overnight. The herbs I gathered at dawn rotted in my hands. When the court wizard finally told me the truth—that someone cursed me, that my presence would kill everyone I love—I realized the prophecy everyone believed was never meant to save the kingdom. It was meant to destroy me.
So I ran. Not to fulfill some destiny, but to survive it.
Now I'm traveling with a hunter who lost his companions to the same curse I carry, chasing fragments of a prophecy the Fae sing differently. An elf took a baby from the palace the night I was born. And somewhere between the lies I've been told and the truth I'm hunting, I'm starting to suspect: What if I'm not the princess from the prophecy at all?

The CEO's Unspoken Love
Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...

“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.

To protect what’s mine
Vengeance of the Forsaken Luna
"Bella." Ethan's tone shifted, taking on that warning edge I knew too well. "Faye is vulnerable right now. She's terrified you'll resent her, that this will divide the pack. The last thing she wants is for this baby to come between us."
"Then you shouldn't have done it." I met his eyes squarely, letting him see the ice in mine. "Go back to your son."
"For fuck's sake." He dragged a hand through his hair. "How many times—it was artificial insemination. They used my sperm, yes, but Faye and I never—"
Bella let out a cold snort. Such brazen lies. Her mate had an affair with his brother's partner, and his entire family helped force her out with nothing, all to make way for the mistress to take her rightful position. Poor fool—he thought she was just an unwanted adopted daughter, easy to dismiss and control. He never knew the computer genius he'd been searching for was his own Luna.
Since he'd tainted himself, Bella was done. She rejected him and reclaimed what was hers, rising to the top with help from Victor, who'd been secretly in love with her for years.
When Ethan tried winning her back: "You don't want our child growing up fatherless."
Bella smiled mockingly. "The child's father isn't you."
