Chapter 1
MILLICENT
I got in!
It still felt like a dream, but yes, I had managed to get into the most prestigious school for young wolves. To get in, you have to be the child of someone powerful and during the evaluation, you have to show the best characteristics of why you should be accepted into the school.
Father had insisted I take the exam. I would have without him even asking, since that was all I had been trained to do all my life anyway.
Being the daughter of the Alpha’s general came with benefits, and those benefits also came with not-too-great benefits. I couldn’t call them disadvantages, that’s not what they were.
Even though he didn’t show it, I knew father was proud of me getting into the school. I was certain he was worried too. To him, despite how many hours I put into training, I was only a delicate, fragile little girl who could break down and must be looked after.
Since the Silverfang Institute was a boarding school, I would have to stay on campus. It would be my first time away since all my life has been sheltered and, of course, my father had to give me the lectures.
It was more of an hour of instructions than advice, but I got the most important of them all. “Don’t bring shame to the family’s name!”
I knew what that was synonymous with. At eighteen, I should have gotten my wolf but managed to disappoint my father on that front. No matter how hard I trained, it still wouldn’t make up for the fact that I didn’t have a wolf to him.
And he didn’t want to be further disappointed and disgraced when people found out I was his daughter. My father’s position made it harder to live a normal life. Everybody knew him, and one mention of his name meant everyone would know who I was—his daughter. To not bring shame to the family, I had to do one thing, and that’s not to be affiliated with the family name.
This was my chance to be just Millicent. Not Millicent Sawyer, the daughter of the general. Thankfully, that shouldn’t be hard since I never go anywhere and a lot of people haven’t seen me before. I was barely existing.
As I stood in front of the school, I wondered just how things would go. I have never had to be in the same space with so many people. My people skills were lagging terribly and rusty, but that was fine since I wasn’t planning on being friends with anyone. I just want to get through school and graduate.
The moment I stepped into the hallway, the whispers began. I ignored them, since there was possibly no way it was about me. I had just resumed and no one knew who I was, so why would they talk about me?
“She’s so pretty!”
“I’ve never seen her before, but I want her.”
“Who do you think she is?”
“She is very hot. Give Sandra a run for her money.”
The whispers kept coming, and I wondered what was going on.
I kept my head down. The whispers were none of my business, and I should just focus on getting to the dorms as early as I could. I had sent my luggage ahead but didn’t know where my dorm was yet.
My plans for invisibility faded the moment someone walked in front of me and stopped. I forced myself to look up and saw a girl standing in front of me. She looked at me with curiosity and a big smile on her face.
”Hey, new girl,” she greeted. She was bubbly—way too bubbly for someone like me who wanted to hide away and blend with the shadows.
“Me?” I pointed at myself awkwardly, finally noticing just how many people were staring at me. Did I have something on my face, or was I wearing the wrong clothes? I knew teenagers needed very few reasons to pick on someone, and I didn’t want to be a target on my first day.
“Of course, you! You’re the only new girl, and I’m standing in front of you, duh,” she grinned even further, as though my words were the funniest thing she ever heard.
“Uhm, hi…” I didn’t know what else to say. She glanced at me, as though waiting for me to do something, before shaking her head.
“You’re Millicent, right?” She didn’t wait for a response before she continued, “I’m Ari. I’ve been asked to show you around and take you to your room.”
“Oh, thank you,” I muttered. I didn’t realize the school did that. I thought it was just a human thing. I’ve seen enough movies and must say it was very much appreciated knowing I would have gotten lost all by myself as I didn’t want to talk to anyone for directions.
“This way,” she smiled, gesturing her right hand towards the hallway path. Ari carried the conversation. She talked about everything and anything and by the time we stopped in front of my room, I had known about everyone I needed to know about in the school—whom to make friends with, and whom to avoid.
I knew everything about the teachers too, down to the nicknames given by the students, which I was never allowed to use. Of course, I wouldn’t. Only a dummy would want to get in trouble by doing that.
She opened the door to my room before handing the keys over to me and ushering me inside.
Thanks to nearly every student here being children of powerful alphas, the school was brilliant enough to build dorm rooms per student. I shuddered at the thought of having a room with a spoilt brat.
I knew how the daughter of my pack’s alpha behaved, and I wouldn’t like to live with someone like her.
“So, which pack are you from? Training to be the Luna of your pack? Do you have a mate yet? Are you training to become the Luna of their pack?” Ari questioned all at once, and I was flustered. I was used to carrying all the conversation along, but right now, answering made me feel sick to my stomach.
I didn’t want to tell her who I actually was and also the fact that I didn’t have a wolf yet. It wouldn’t surprise me if everyone knew who I was before my first class, given how much she talked.
“I’m sorry, I have to get to my first class. Thank you for the tour and the tips. I appreciate it,” I said, managing to push her out of the door amidst protest and heaved a sigh of relief.
I would have to find ways to avoid her in school, which shouldn’t be hard since we weren’t in the same class, and she was graduating soon. We had the least chance of bumping into each other due to our differences in schedules.
I looked at the time on my phone and realized I was going to be late for my first class if I didn’t hurry up. I still had to find my locker, which I hadn’t gotten the chance to do before I was ambushed by Ari.
I picked up everything I might need for the day and rushed out of the room back into the school’s building. It didn’t take too long to get there. This time, when the whispers started again, I knew it was about me. Ari had talked about how everyone was in love with my looks. Her words, not mine.
Finally, I got to my locker. After dumping everything into it, I picked up what would be needed for my first day, complete with a map of the school. It would be disastrous if I got lost since I, admittedly, wasn’t listening to Ari’s directions.
She spoke too soon and too fast for me to catch most of her words, and I needed to properly process what I had been told if I wanted to retain it.
For the second time in the day, my class path was blocked. For a split second, I thought it was Ari again.
“I can get to—” The words died in my throat as I saw who was in front of me.
I didn’t know her face, but I knew she was stunning and had to be the girl Ari warned me about earlier.
What was her name again?
Sasha?
Oh, Sandra… I remember! The name had stuck with me since she had mentioned that she bullied people a lot. And I had to attract the attention of the bully. So much for trying to stay out of trouble.
Sandra was beautiful, there was no denying that. She was also said to be the strongest and most popular female wolf in the school.
Now I wonder why I have to have pricked her interest…
There was no way I had managed to piss off the ‘queen bee’ of the school when all I had done was walk in. She was probably passing by. That had to be it.
“Well, who do we have here?” She smirked, and I tried to ignore her and walk her, but maybe I was wrong in doing that.
She grabbed my arm and pulled me back, and I gasped. “Who the fuck are you?!” She growled so condescendingly that the people around us froze and turned to look at whom she made her new target.
I just knew without a doubt that I was royally fucked.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.

And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
