My Mafia Boyfriend Married His True Love
Hannah Air · Completed · 11.2k Words
Introduction
"Are you going to make our relationship public?"
"Public what? You—as my Consigliere, or... as my mistress."
At the pre-engagement dinner, he picked simple Italian dishes, Black Forest cake, and pink-and-white roses for Amelie. Side by side, they smiled as they reminisced about their "fated encounters," his ears even turning red.
"We kept ‘running into’ each other in high school," she said.
I lowered my eyes with a small, bitter smile—those had all been his carefully designed coincidences.
When the accident happened, he pulled her into his arms first. "Don't be scared. Look at me." I shivered among shattered glass and the smell of blood. He never once looked at me.
Later, with the wedding was half prepared, I returned my signet ring, keys, and comm devices according to family rules, took my parents and emigrated. The sea wind shredded those passed New York nights.
Chapter 1
On the 999th time Gabriel and I got a hotel room together, he was still utterly, recklessly wild.
The next morning, my whole body was covered in hickeys. Every tiny movement made my waist and back ache like my bones had snapped. The room still smelled thick with sex.
Gabriel reached over and pulled me into his arms, his fingertips sliding lazily down my back as he said, "Tomorrow, dress a little more formal. Come home with me."
I froze, my heart catching like someone had just lit a match there. I lifted my head and asked, "Are you... going to make our relationship official?"
He arched a brow, amusement flickering in his eyes. "What? Tomorrow's the family sit-down. My arranged match is coming. Capos from both sides will be there. You come over to help warm up the room, keep the girl from feeling awkward."
I could barely hear my own heartbeat; my head went completely blank with a dull buzz. "You agree to the family alliance marriage? Then what am I?"
He was already getting up to get dressed, giving me a lazy look. "You? My Consigliere? Or my mistress?"
A chill shot from the soles of my feet all the way to the crown of my head. I could feel the blood draining from my face, my lips trembling out of my control.
He saw my expression, the smile slowly fading from his face as he leaned in, studying me like I was a joke. "No way, Serena. You didn't really think we've been in a relationship all these years, did you?"
That teasing tone stabbed straight through my heart like a knife. I forced down the sting in my nose, tried to keep my voice steady. "O-of course not. I'm going to take a shower."
I practically fled into the bathroom. The second the door clicked shut, all the strength drained out of my body. I slid slowly down against the door and sat on the floor. His words kept echoing in my ears. I looked down at the dense scatter of hickeys all over my skin, and the tears spilled over in a stream I couldn't stop.
We've known each other for fifteen years. From the first time I saw him, I fell for him so hard I lost control. Just to get close to him, I ignored everyone's objections and joined the Celeste family, clawing my way up from the very bottom all the way to Consigliere—just so I could stay by his side day and night.
The first time we slept together was when I was eighteen, drunk out of my mind.
Once there was a first time, there was a second, and a third.
At night we were like lovers; in the daytime we did everything lovers were supposed to do too—holding hands in crowded streets, kissing at the New Year countdown, promising we'd still be together the year after.
I always thought we were just "not public yet."
Now I finally realized—there was never a "we" at all.
I don't know how long I stayed there before the shower washed my tears clean. Bracing one hand on the sink, I forced my breathing to even out, then walked out.
He'd already changed and was sitting on the couch on the phone. "There'll be a lot of people tomorrow. Book a bigger private room at the restaurant. The girl likes simple Italian. The cake must be Black Forest, flowers should be pink and white roses. Send me photos once the place is set up. And prepare a dozen suits for me to choose from when I get back—make them all black. Amelie only likes that color."
Those two syllables—Amelie—hooked into my throat like a barb.
I looked up on instinct and caught the smile tugging uncontrollably at the corner of his mouth.
So, his arranged match... was Amelie.
No wonder even someone like him would agree to it.
It wasn't that he wanted an arranged marriage—
He just wanted to have her in the rest of life.

Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
Where I End and She Begins
But when a body lies at Amelia’s feet, and her hands are covered in blood that isn’t hers, one question echoes louder than the rest:
How did it come to this?
As the school year unfolds, cracks begin to show — in friendships, in family, and in Amelia’s own mind. The lines between loyalty and control blur. Between truth and perception. Between who she is… and who she thinks she needs to be.
Because some friendships don’t just shape you.
They consume you.
And when the illusion shatters, there’s always something left behind.

Her family looked down on him, and even she herself said coldly: “You’re not worthy of being my husband.”
Everyone thought this newly released good-for-nothing was just a poor fool who’d taken the fall for his brother.
Thorne said nothing.
He merely raised his hand, gently pressing his bride’s forehead.
In an instant, the chaos in her eyes faded. Holy light surged from beneath the church, shooting into the sky.
The world’s only candidate for the Saintess, blessed with holy power, slowly opened her clear eyes before him.

Iron And Glamour Just Don't Mix
Well… Sometimes you just might turn out to be right.
It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.
Iron is how I keep people out.
Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.

He was a beast inhabiting this mansion, inflicting inhuman torture on my poor soul. He had created a living hell for me, this pitiful girl, within his castle.
On this cold winter night, he threw my wounded body into the icy pool, arrogantly enjoying it all, drinking and smoking expensive cigars. A satisfied, cold smile played on his lips as he reveled in my pain. His face was filled with the darkness of sin.
“How...more...am I…still…standing?” I stammered, my lips trembling.
Zain paused, thinking. Then, turning away from her, he replied:
“Until you die!”
With that, he left. As he wished. At that moment, my wish came true; I died.
But not in a frozen pool; I was struck in the head by a bullet from afar, blood splattering everywhere—that was far more gruesome.
My consciousness began to fade, but suddenly, I opened my eyes again and found myself mopping the floor in an ordinary restaurant.
I was startled: What happened? I was reborn? This is unbelievable!

The first half is set in high school, and the second half is set during their college years. Hope you enjoy the journey!
This is a slow-paced story, focused more on emotions, healing, and the small moments in life rather than intense action or dramatic twists.

I hope ordinary Clara, ordinary Adrian, and all of us ordinary people can find the happiness we deserve.

But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?
