Overnight, the Alpha Triplets All Betrayed Me
Felix · Completed · 9.6k Words
Introduction
The eldest of the triplets, Kai, my combat instructor who had always guided and cared for me, shielded her behind him.
The middle one was Jack, the campus heartthrob. We used to be inseparable, but now he ran errands for her.
The youngest was Leo, a musical prodigy who had been pursuing me, now obeying her every command.
Three men who once favored me above all else forced me to kneel and apologize for that transfer student.
Unable to defend myself, I was locked in an abandoned training room to reflect, and ultimately pushed off a cliff by the transfer student to my death.
Reborn, I vowed to stay far away from them and never participate in this ridiculous game again.
But when they learned I was about to transfer to the top-tier "Silver Moon Academy" for advanced studies, all three men panicked.
Chapter 1
Elara's POV
When I regained consciousness in the cold abandoned training room, I realized I had been reborn.
Just today, that transfer student Bianca had lost her mother's keepsake and was in such anguish that she wanted to end her life.
I risked my safety to save her, only to be framed by her instead.
And my fated mates, the triplets, chose to stand by Bianca's side and protect her.
Jack rushed over, took off his jacket and draped it over Bianca's shoulders, comforting her tenderly. He used to be the one most attached to me. As the second of the triplets, he had promised countless times that he would always believe in me and protect me.
Now he looked up with cold eyes. "Elara, I want to believe you too. But Bianca has always been sweet and obedient. You can't do such things to her just because she's kind. She's the only remaining white wolf who has awakened healing abilities! If you hurt her, can you bear the responsibility?"
Leo, the youngest and a musical genius, had trusted me completely after discovering I was his fated mate and had never said a harsh word to me. Now he rushed to check Bianca's injuries, disappointedly accusing me of stealing Bianca's necklace and attempting to kill her.
"How could our mate be so vicious? You've changed, Elara. Jealousy has turned you into a demon."
"If you don't want me to reject you, don't let me see you for now, and don't you dare hurt Bianca."
They supported Bianca and hurried toward the medical room, leaving me behind—exhausted of power and disheveled from saving her.
Holding onto my last thread of hope, I looked toward Kai, who was still standing there. As the eldest of the triplets, he had always been the most righteous and just Alpha. I wanted to explain everything to him, but he didn't even look at me before delivering a resounding slap across my face.
As a combat professor hired by the academy after early graduation, he used his formidable strength against me, his destined mate. My cheek swelled rapidly, the burning pain shooting to my brain, bringing with it my fear and shame.
"All these years I've considered you my best student. I never imagined you would use such despicable means to steal her cherished jewelry and drive her to the brink of jumping off a cliff. You must be punished."
They forced me to kneel and beg for mercy, threatening that if I didn't admit my fault, they would reject me and report my bullying behavior to the Council of Elders.
I clenched my jaw, refusing to admit to something I hadn't done. The grievance in my heart nearly overflowed.
The triplets felt that not only had I harmed Bianca, but I also disrespected their authority. Enraged, they locked me in the academy's sealed abandoned training room.
"Once you're dead, the mate bond will naturally break, and I'll become the triplets' luna!"
She finally revealed her true face, her twisted eyes full of malicious satisfaction.
They knew full well I had claustrophobia, yet they didn't care.
The cramped, dark space nearly suffocated me. The walls were scratched bloody by my fingers.
I begged them to let me go, but after being locked inside for two days and two nights, they hadn't even sent me a drop of water.
Just as I was on the verge of death, thinking I would die in there, Bianca—the gentle and sweet transfer student in their eyes—slipped inside, cornering me step by step in the training room.
"I'm so sick of seeing you act all high and mighty. Why should you get to have three such excellent mates? They should all belong to me. I'm the one with the noblest bloodline."
I had no strength to struggle. She dragged me out of the training room and pushed me off the cliff with force. I crashed heavily onto the rocks, my bones shattering, and died.
The memories of my past life ended there.
Even after being reborn, that sensation of rapid descent still lingered in my mind.
I took a deep breath, trying to ease the pain that felt like my body was about to explode, and stood up.
Fortunately, the worst hadn't happened yet. They had only taken Bianca away to care for her and had someone lock me in this cramped, dark abandoned training room and "teach me a lesson."
After careful thought, I decided to cherish this second chance given by fate. In this life, I would stay far away from those who killed me.
Just as I took a step forward, Jack and Leo from the triplets found me.
Jack and Leo frowned, clearly uncomfortable in this damp and gloomy abandoned training room.
He glanced at me coldly and said in a condescending tone, "Can you still walk?"
It was he who had sent people to "deal with" me. They had been ruthless, specifically attacking my joints and core—places that couldn't heal quickly.
I was covered in wounds, every inch of my skin and blood vessels screaming in pain.
I wanted to speak, but found my lips sealed shut by dried blood scabs.
Seeing my silence, he took a deep breath.
"Don't be so stubborn. Won't even open your mouth now? I had no choice—this is all for your own good."
"As your future Alpha, I have a responsibility to stop you from doing things that would damage the pack's honor."
"As long as you're willing to admit your mistake and apologize to Bianca, we won't report this to the Council of Elders, and you'll still be our Luna."
The triplets and I had known each other for many years. We'd recognized each other as fated mates some time ago and understood each other thoroughly.
Their arrogant expressions now made me sick.
I looked directly into Jack's eyes. "Do you have solid evidence proving I pushed her?"
Jack answered without hesitation.
"Who else could it be besides you? Bianca's necklace was her mother's keepsake. Now her necklace is missing, and you just happen to have an identical one. You must not have wanted anyone else wearing the same necklace as you, so you stole hers. I never thought you'd be so vicious—not only making her heartbroken but also trying to murder her."
My necklace was a farewell gift from a friend, custom-made at a luxury boutique with pendants bearing our initials. Bianca had bought a knockoff of this pendant and claimed it was her mother's keepsake to avoid being called out for wearing a fake.
Now, just because I had the same necklace, I could be labeled a thief?
I laughed angrily. "Only you three can enter her dorm room. Why didn't you consider that one of you three might have stolen it?"
Leo froze for a moment, his brows furrowing.
"The three of us have no reason to do such a thing. You must have used some underhanded method to sneak into her dorm and steal it while she was showering and had taken off the necklace."
Chapter2: The Token of Doubt
Even though I'd already experienced the triplets' cruelty, I still felt a bone-deep chill in my heart.
Seeing my silence, they assumed they were wearing me down and continued their persuasion.
"She's still lying in the medical wing. The healer said she suffered tremendous psychological trauma and will need a long time to recover. All of this is your doing."
"And yet you remain completely unmoved, constantly making excuses. Are you even a member of our pack? Have you ever considered yourself as the future Luna and thought about what you should be doing? Without even this much compassion, how can you possibly be a competent Luna?"
I tried to appeal to our past connection: "Jack, you were the first of the triplets I met. You should know what kind of person I am. Do you really think I'd do something like this?"
But Jack wasn't moved at all. His gaze only grew colder.
"What does years of friendship matter? Anyone can put on a good show. You're nothing but a hypocrite hiding behind a virtuous facade."
Hearing this, I couldn't help but laugh, realizing that no amount of explanation would make him believe me.
I stopped arguing and nodded lightly. "Fine. I'll go apologize to her."
I knew very well that if I continued to resist, I'd only repeat my past life, ending up pushed off a cliff to my death.
So I chose to compromise. Right now, the most important thing was to leave this place as soon as possible, to get away from Bianca.
Jack's expression finally softened. "That's more like it. Once this is over, we can still—"
I cut him off. "Forget it."
They both froze in place, then whipped their heads around to look at me.
I gave them a mocking smile. "Someone like me isn't worthy of being your mate. Better not tarnish your pack's noble reputation. Before the mating ceremony takes place, after I apologize, let's complete the rejection."
Jack's expression changed drastically. He rushed after me, and Leo tried to reach out and grab me.
"This won't affect anything, Elara. Stop right there. Do you hear me?"
I ignored them and quickened my pace, leaving them behind.
Back in my dorm, I began preparing my application materials for Silver Moon Academy.
What they didn't know was that I was the one with true white wolf bloodline. Because my ability was too precious, my parents had always told me to hide it and planned to send me to Silver Moon Academy to learn how to control my power.
It was an academy specifically for training royal wolves, with the finest educational resources. All the students there had royal bloodline and were Alphas. Since the triplets were merely Alpha heirs of an ordinary pack, they had no qualifications to enter Silver Moon Academy.
Because I'd discovered the triplets were my fated mates, I rejected Silver Moon Academy's admission offer to stay with them and came here.
But now, I still had time to escape.
A passing instructor saw my blood-covered state and immediately sent me to the medical wing.
When I pushed the door open, Bianca was already awake, resting in bed, while Leo cradled his guitar, playing with a soft, soothing voice, gazing at her with deep affection.
Though he was the son of the pack's Alpha, he'd always been immersed in music. He'd once composed a song specifically to confess his feelings to me. What he was playing now was that very piece he'd created for his confession.
Leo's amber eyes held wariness and distance. "You dare show your face here? You've already damaged her essence. She's in so much pain she can barely move. If you're not here to apologize, then get lost."
Looking at this person glaring at me with such hatred, I couldn't help but find it ironic.
Before Bianca's arrival, he'd shyly offered me a ring woven from moonlight grass, blushing as he poured out his feelings, hoping I'd accept him.
Bianca sensed the moment was right. She rose slowly, supporting herself against the wall, putting on an air of magnanimous tolerance.
"Don't be angry, Leo. Elara probably didn't mean it. It rained yesterday, and the cliff edge was already slippery. Her power slipping out of control and affecting me was probably just an accident."
Leo's expression darkened even more at her words, and he laughed with derision.
"Stop making excuses for her. The ground was already dry. She clearly meant to push you off that cliff!"
He turned to me, his gaze sharp. "Elara, do you realize Bianca comes from a desolate border pack, with only an elderly father left? If she'd fallen off that cliff and something happened to her, how heartbroken would her father be?"
Bianca quickly pretended to restrain the furious Leo, and the two of them were practically embracing right in front of me, their fated mate.
"I'm sorry. Did I say something wrong? Don't let me come between you two. I know very well that you care about Elara, Leo. She's your future Luna."
Leo immediately retorted, "Nonsense. I don't have any feelings for her whatsoever."
If this had been the old me, I would have rushed to explain everything to Leo.
But now I felt strangely calm. I said gently to Bianca:
"It was careless of me to bump into you. I hope you'll give me a chance to make amends. I'm willing to apologize to you publicly."
My words left them both stunned.
After all, not long ago I'd been defiant, insisting I would never admit fault.
But I'd already figured it out. If they wanted to play games, I could play too.
And maybe even better than Bianca.
