Chapter 1
SERA'S POV
“Get up.”
The woman screams, her raw voice echoing in the glass chamber. I swallow a noise in the back of my throat and help the little girl up, my chains heavy.
“We are late,” the woman hisses, “you know how much he hates lateness.”
Oh do I not know, I thought, stepping into the bathroom, cold water immediately hitting my head, forcing my eyes closed. I feel a push on my shoulder, a sign to step out for the next person and I move backwards, standing naked in the room as we are pushed to the next room, wet soaked bodies shaking from something worse than the cold.
I stood still, allowing the green tonic to be put on my head. The corset is laced right, causing me to suck in my growling stomach, a heavy pit in it. Next to me, the other girls go through the same things, long green gowns that touch the floor, tight corsets to suck the life out of us more, heavy douses of perfume…to mask our fear.
Afterall, they loved to pretend we were willing.
The girl standing next to me is shaking more than usual, her teeth chattering. I close my eyes, willing the noise to stop, yet, I cannot suppress mine.
Five years of this.
Five years of being beaten, clothed, fed on. Five years since I had to become someone else, since I had to blend in with the crowd, so I do not end up like them.
Five years since the monsters killed my family and took my sister. Five years, since I had to become a blood bag to survive, a meal for the same monsters that took my joy from me.
Soon, I promised myself for the millionth time, soon, I would spill their blood and drain them, the same way they did to my family.
“Alright,” the woman shouted, causing my head to snap up. She was resting against her cane, and as she walked past me, I felt like kicking it, watching her hip fail and laughing as she crashed to the floor.
Instead, I settle for digging my nails into my palms. “Up,up,” she instructs, pushing us out of the small room. We walked in a straight line, our heads bowed.
The only thing I could see was my feet, peeking out of the ugly green dress. Soon, I feel the cold air of the night hit me, and I glance up, watching calmly.
The sky is red, the moon barely giving us light. I can hear their laughter all the way from here, powerful beings that ruled the world, that made us their slaves and food, bought and killed us like we were just meat.
Vampires.
The young girl with the chattering teeth fell to the ground. “Please,” she cried, her make-up running down her face. “I want my mama. Please don't do this to me.”
Unlucky soul.
“Who is that bastard?” My spine froze as a handler’s voice boomed, walking towards us. It is not enough to make her stop though, rather, her wails grow louder. “Who dares to cry?” He asked again, finally coming into view, a whip attached to the belt wrapped around his waist.
He found her easily, his eyes growing dark. “How dare you?” He hissed, stepping towards her. She is still on the ground, her face in her hands, her body shaking from her tears. “Get up,” he commands, kicking her. He took off the whip, the one I was so familiar with, and raised it up, curling it in the night sky like a snake prepared to bite.
Before I could stop myself, I stood in front of her. “Damaged goods sell for less,” I muttered, keeping my head low. “If you hit her now, it will definitely leave marks.”
The angry handler breathes out like an ox, and slowly his hand comes down. “Get her up bitch,” he hissed in my face, backing off. I watched him drag the first girl in the line, her feet barely touching the wooden stairs as she was taken up to the Auction.
“Thank you.”
I turned to the girl on the floor. Her tears seemed to have stopped now, but her face was ruined with black marks running down her face. Her dark brown hair tumbled down her neck, and suddenly, I am staring into the eyes of my love, the one snatched away from me.
“Sera,” Elena screamed, tears running down her face. “Don’t leave me, Sera please.”
I closed my eyes, shutting it down fast. “Up,” I hissed, turning away. She scrambled up behind me and I stood back in my place, a small smirk lifting my lips. I could still do something, I laughed.
Even though it did not matter. Because she was dead. She had to be, if not, I refused to imagine the horror they would have inflicted on her.
My poor baby sister.
Soon, the handler’s hand wrapped around my forearm, pulling me up. My head is low, a symbol of fear, but I peek at them beneath my lashes.
They are more beautiful than I even imagine, their faces imprinted in my mind. Small eyes twinkling like the diamonds on their neck and hands, robes screaming wealth, words spoken with a slight musical whimsy, all to hide what they truly were.
Monsters that destroyed everything in their path. That plundered and killed and tore families in their wake, that they did not care about killing a young girl's parents in front of her.
I closed my eyes again, sucking in my hollow stomach. I would get my revenge, one way or the other. I had to, for them to finally rest in peace.
“Ladies and gentlemen of the Blood Moon Auction,” the auctioneer said, his voice causing the noise to come to a still. “Again, I present you with another fine specimen.”
He grabbed my chin and lifted my head up, the pain almost causing me to lose the cool demeanor I held. I stared at the dark sky, his green eyes peeking down at me. “Soft lips,” he spoke, a thumb on my mouth, “delectable skin, long gorgeous hair,” he smiled, running his palm through my hair.
“But most importantly,” he turned towards them, “her blood.”
He lifted my right palm in the air. I don't flinch when I feel the skin split open, blood pouring from it to the ground.
As the moonlight hid the blood on my palm, it shone silver.
“Great Heavens,” the auctioneer said, squeezing harder. “Catalyst,” he screamed, his face red.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.

From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
