Chapter 1
Roseanne West
I stretched my whole body after sitting on the ground for 4 hours straight to finish my latest novel. After a lot of thinking and debating with myself how to end the love story for this novel, I ended up giving the characters a nice ending in Paris with a romantic proposal just like every romance novel out there.
I walked out from my room to make myself a coffee and walked towards the balcony to see the beautiful night lights of New York city. I sipped my coffee slowly to prevent my tongue from burning and I sat down on my bean bag looking up to the sky hoping that I can see beautiful stars today.
Last week my publisher, Amy, asked me if I want to do a meet and greet to reveal myself in public but I refused it right away. She said that a lot of my fans requested that they want to meet the famous 'Elena Parker' but as much as I love interacting with them but revealing myself to the public is a no no. I've been hiding myself ever since my mom died and that was 7 years ago. I've been trying to overcome that but I think I still can't move on.
I can't deal with something like that to be honest, I can't deal with heartbreaks, death and everything that deals with separation. I can't deal with it, that's why I don't really want to connect with people because for me, at the end of the day, everyone will leave and they will never come back.
That's why I made 'Elena Parker', she's famous, crazy for love and a really good novelist with 5 best seller romance books of all times. For me, faking myself as Elena Parker was a shield for me. I wanted to hide myself from the world but at the same time I want the world to notice me.
Suddenly my phone rang and I got up from my beanbag walking back inside. I took my phone and looked at the screen to see my brother, Stefan, calling me. I pressed the green button and put it on loudspeaker.
"Yes, your majesty." I answered it in a sarcastic tone.
"Don't give me that tone, young lady." He hissed right away.
"What do you want?"
"Let's have dinner together tomorrow, it's your birthday." He said excitedly.
"I'm busy."
"I'll pick you up at 7 and you better dress up because we're going to have the fanciest dinner for your 25th birthday. Dad will go straight to the restaurant so you can't complain about this, young lady." He said and I sighed.
"Stop calling me that.." I hissed.
"I will, if you agree to go have dinner with us."
"Fine."
"See you tomorrow." He said and he ended the call. I put my coffee down on the table and turned on the TV. I connected my netflix to the TV to watch my favorite movie of all times, 13 going 30.
Before I can finish the movie, I fell asleep on the sofa. That's my habit, I can sleep anywhere in any situation. I got up because someone rang on my door. I got up immediately and walked towards the door. I opened it and found a cake from my publisher company. I picked it up and brought it in.
It's just another year, birthday doesn't mean anything to me. It's just the day where you have your age increase one digit. I walked towards my room with my phone and there's already tons of messages from my fans on my instagram sending me love for my birthday. My dad and my brother left me a message too but I'll just reply them later.
I went back to sleep because that's the perks of being a writer. You can write and rest whenever you want.
I got up again and it's already 5 o'clock in the evening. I got up and dragged myself towards the bathroom. I took a shower and dried myself quickly. I curled my hair and put it into a low bun. I put on my favorite earrings and put on my makeup after that. I walked towards my closet and decided to wear my long black dress with a slit on my left leg.
I checked on the time and it's already 6.45 and I took my phone cursing it seeing the battery. I took my power bank and charged it. I took my Gucci bag and put all my stuff inside. I walked out and put on my black CL heels.
My phone rang and I know it's my brother. I walked out of my house and go straight down to the lobby. I saw my brother's car parked in front of the lobby and he opened the window smirking. I got into the car and put my seatbelt on right away.
"Happy birthday, little sis." He said as he patted my hand and I nodded.
"Thanks."
"You know.. you should find a boyfriend this year." He always said that every year.
"Just drive.." I said coldly.
"That's why you never have a boyfriend, Rosie. You need to get a life, stop locking your ass in your room." I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up.. it's my birthday so don't give me lecture about my life or I will go back." I hissed coldly and yes I'm that cold towards my brother but he never understands it.
"Fine.." He said and he suddenly trying to pull something out from his pocket. When he succeed, he put the small envelope in front of me.
"1.000 dollars for you to have fun and get drunk.. go wild and get a life." He said as he gave me a check.
"I have my own money."
"It's my birthday present to you, take it." He said and I took it. I put it into my clutch and after 15 minutes of car ride, we arrived at the restaurant. We got inside and Stefan told the waiter his name and with that she lead us to the private room. She opened the door for us and my dad already sitting there.
"Hey pumpkin pie, happy birthday." He said as he hugged me and kissed my forehead.
"Thanks dad." I smiled at him and we all sat down. We ordered our food and after that my dad put a small box in front of me.
"Your birthday present, open it." He smiled and I turned to Stefan for a moment before open the black box. I opened it and I gasped automatically.
"Dad.."
"I found it when I was cleaning my room. It was on my drawer and I thought you want to have it."
"Thankyou." I smiled widely and looked down on the necklace. It was my mom's, it was her favorite necklace. I asked Stefan to put it on me.
"I know that you really miss your mom and it's been 7 years. You should go back to the old Rosie again, don't you think?" My dad asked me in a really careful tone.
"It's not easy and I don't think I can."
"How about you introduce her to your friends' son, dad?" My brother asked and I smacked his arm hard.
"I don't need a boyfriend." I hissed coldly at him.
"That's a good idea. I mean.. they don't need to be your boyfriend, how about finding a friend?" My dad smiled and I shook my head.
"No thanks." I said and after that there's a knock on the door before the waiter brought all the food in. I was kinda glad that I decided to go have a family dinner because I do miss my dad and my brother but it was hard for me to express that.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
