Revenge or Love (falling in love with her)
Jessica Okafor · Ongoing · 41.3k Words
Introduction
She smelled like lilac soap and cinnamon, a delightful combination he had only encountered in her.
He slid his thumbs slowly across her lips. They opened with a tiny gasp that made them all more tempting.
"Kat... "
He looked into her eyes and forgot what he had intended to say. God! She was too beautiful. Her eyes were filled with care, love and longing.
Longing that sure matched his own. Very slowly, wanting to draw out every moment, Eric brought his lips to hers.
He watched her eyes glaze, and heard her ragged moans when his mouth touched hers, then he kissed her passionately.
He ran his lips down over the line of her throat. Heavenly warm skin met his lips.
Eric inhaled the downy softness, bringing his hands up along her hips, at her waist and upward along her ribs to the front of her blouse, over her breasts.
Katrina moaned softly in approval, cupping her hands in his as he undid the buttons on her blouse.
Her breasts came spilling into his hands after he unhooked her bra. He filled his palm with her breasts.
"God! I want you Kat" he said with a voice laced with deep passion.
Katrina Argos aged twenty, set out to take her revenge on Eric Salmadiego, the guy who almost ruined her sister's life.
Eric Salmadiego aged twenty four was a well known arrogant and popular billionaire. Not only was he arrogant, he was a full time playboy.
To achieve her mission, Katrina moved into Eric's house as a live in maid. The both of them started on a rough note, but as time went by they fell in love.
Now Katrina was stuck with Revenge or Love?
Chapter 1
The yellow cab sped along the streets of San Francisco, California. Katrina sat back on the seat resting her head and watching the beautiful scenes as the cab sped along.
California was such a beautiful place. There were no beautiful sights like this in sweetgrass. She let her thoughts wander and her sister came into her thoughts.
She wondered if she was doing the right thing, carrying out this Revenge mission without letting her sister know. Of course, her sister wouldn't have allowed her go on with it if she had told her.
"Where do you say you're going Ma'am?" the driver asked for the third time and Katrina wondered if he had a short term memory.
She brought out a paper that contained the address and gave it to him. She was tired of repeating the same thing.
"Oh, we're almost there" he said flashing her a smile.
"I wonder what you're going to do in the house of that arrogant billionaire" he said trying to start a conversation.
Katrina wanted asking him how he got to know Eric, but then she remembered he's really Popular.
"Let me know when you get to his house" she said. This was the first time she spoke since she entered the cab.
The driver nodded and everywhere was silent again.
"We're here" the driver announced few minutes later, stopping in front of a very mighty house.
"Oh, really??" Katrina asked and peeped out of the cab's window.
"Wow" she exclaimed. The driver chuckled.
"Here is your money"Katrina said giving him his pay. She came down from the cab carrying her big box with her. The driver drove off leaving her standing alone in front of the mighty house.
Summoning courage, she knocked on the gate. The gate was opened almost immediately by a young good looking man. He sized her and her box with his eyes.
"Good afternoon" he greeted.
"Good afternoon. I'm Katrina Argos, the new live in maid" Katrina replied with a polite smile.
"I guessed as much. Saw the box already. Come on in" the young man said and opened the gate wide for her to come in.
She walked into the compound and stopped unconsciously. This was Paradise on Earth. How could a house be this beautiful? So amazing and heavenly?? The young man chuckles brought her to her senses and made her realize she wasn't alone.
"You're??"she asked.
"Alvin. I'm the gate keeper" he replied.
"Ooh, nice. My pleasure meeting you" she said bringing out her hands for an handshake. He took her hand.
"Let me show you your room" he said and led the way to the big house. Katrina followed quietly.
He unlocked the door and they entered the main house. Katrina was overwhelmed by the beauty of the house. Every single thing in this house screams moneyyyyyyy!! The furnitures were top notch, the tiles were astonishing, the curtains, carvings on the wall, some excellent drawings made the house look so beautiful.
She saw the stairs leading to so many rooms upstairs.
"Your room is up there" Alvin said and started climbing the stairs.
"And boss? where is he?" Katrina asked.
"Still at work, yet to be back" he replied.
"What time does he come back??" she asked.
"No specific time" he replied.
"Here we are" he said and stopped in front of a door.
He opened it and we went it.
"This is your room" he said.
"Oh my! This is beautiful" I said and bit my tongue to stop me from screaming and jumping in the presence of this stranger.
"I'll live you to change. Welcome and feel at home" he said and with that he left the room.
Katrina took this opportunity to jump and scream. Her room looks so beautiful, the walls were painted pink, the floors were tiled. A big mirror stood beside the dressing table. An enormous wardrobe was mounted at one corner of the room.
She ran to the bathroom to check it out and wasn't disappointed one bit. She came back to her bed and bounced on it, it was so soft and comfy. From her bed, she could see the shining stars at night, the rising sun and the beautiful sight of the pool.
"Woah" She exclaimed.
"I'm living in a palace" she thought.
The only difference was only that she wasn't the princess, she has no one to serve her rather she was the one doing the serving and all. She sighed.
Katrina searched her box for a more comfortable clothes and changed into it. After changing, she began unpacking her stuffs and arranging them in the right places. When she was done, the room looked homely with her belongings.
"This is now my room, my own room!" she said beaming with smiles.
She had just dozed off when she heard the blaring of car horns. She peeped from her window but couldn't see the outer part of the house.
She came out of her room and descended down the stairs. She was just in time to see Eric walking into the house and almost bumped into him.
"Sorry sir" she said.
"So clumsy" he replied.
"She's??" he asked Alvin who was holding his briefcase.
"Katrina Argos, your new maid" Katrina replied instead.
"Oh, I see" he said and eyed her from head to toe.
Katrina took the chance to study him too. He was drop dead gorgeous, strikingly handsome with manly charms. No wonder ladies throw themselves at him. No wonder he was able to win her sister's heart, and it's a rare occasion because her sister is stone hearted.
"I'm tired right now so I don't have the strength to discuss anything with you right now. But there are some certain rules governing this house that you should know, but I'll tell you that later" Eric said.
Katrina was busy staring at his lips that she really didn't get the full information.
"Don't stand there staring. There are lots of work and cleaning to be done, if you think you are less busy and agile enough, you could go about fixing some things instead of staring" he said and Katrina came back to her senses.
"I'm sorry sir" she apologized.
"Alvin, bring my briefcase along" he said and climbed up the stairs walking away from Katrina. Alvin followed him.
Alvin came down minutes later and left for his duty post. Katrina looked around the house and saw that it wasn't really neat. How come she didn't notice it before??
She was about to go upstairs to her room but stopped on seeing her boss descend the stairs. He stopped halfway and threw something to her face. Katrina held it up and saw it was a female pant.
"What the hell??" she screamed.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
