Introduction

My fiancée and best friend, whom I risked my life to protect, sold me to the brutal "Blood Blade Gang . "
They laughed as they watched me being kicked into a pool of radioactive waste like a dog, waiting for me to turn into a pile of bones.
But they didn't know that the deadly radiation not only failed to melt me, but also forcibly ruptured my genetic lock, awakening the [Nuclear Fury].
I rode back to the old camp in her heavily armored vehicle.
Those two scoundrels were still arrogantly bullying me: "I have the Blood Blade Gang backing me! The big shots are coming soon, you're dead!"
I sneered and slapped them away.
Idiots, look back! Your so-called powerful backer is kneeling in the vehicle, lighting my cigarette.

Chapter 1

A tearing pain shot through my wrist.

Two tungsten steel chains, gleaming with a cold, eerie light, pierced through my collarbone and wrist.

I was tightly tethered to the back of a heavy armored vehicle billowing black smoke, like a dying wolf being dragged along the rugged, scorched earth.

My crippled left leg left a horrifying trail of blood on the ground , and a constant, excruciating pain shot through me. The dust and sand of the wasteland, like sandpaper coated with salt, relentlessly ravaged my wound.

Everything was reminding me of an extremely ironic reality— I had been betrayed.

Half an hour ago, I was fighting three crazed mutant beasts to retrieve a piece of clean meat that hadn't been heavily contaminated by radiation for my team.

But when I dragged my badly injured body back to the camp with that clean piece of meat , what awaited me was not bandages and hot soup, but a glass of wine handed to me by my good brother David.

A glass of strong liquor laced with an overdose of nerve anesthetic.

When I opened my eyes again, I had become livestock to be sold to the "Blood Blade Gang" by David and my scheming fiancée Emily.

In this land , the name "Bloodblade Gang" was synonymous with a living hell. This violent group, controlling the only water purification plant and heavy weapons factory within a hundred miles, took pride in skinning people and feeding them to mutated beasts, their very core being a perverse worship of "ultimate force." Rumor had it that a cold-blooded female godfather, valuing only strength, ruled this brutal legion from the top.

For the lower-class refugees, climbing to the edge of the Bloodblade Gang was tantamount to possessing a pass to roam freely in this hell.

Clearly, David and Emily had paid this price with my life.

"Screech—!"

A piercing screech of brakes rang out as the armored vehicle came to a stop at the execution ground of an abandoned oil refinery. A strong, pungent chemical stench assaulted the senses.

Less than ten meters directly in front of me was a huge waste pool, churning with boiling green venom—super-concentrated radioactive waste at a temperature of eighty degrees Celsius.

A pair of military boots stepped into the blood-stained ground before me.

David stood there, clutching two vials of anti-radiation serum that emitted a ghostly blue glow. He crouched down, his face contorted in a disgusting expression, and forced out two crocodile tears: "Jack, you don't want to see me die, do you? I've contracted radiation sickness and desperately need these last two vials of serum to save my life."

He glanced at the whistling, bloodthirsty thugs in the stands behind him, and continued in a low voice, "You know, the boss has his eye on your physique from your time as a special forces soldier. He says your muscle density allows you to scream for a full five minutes longer than an average person in this boiling pool of poison... He likes to hear that sound."

"Anyway, your leg was already useless anyway." David stood up, looking down at me with an air of entitlement. "This is the last bit of light you can give to keep the team alive."

"Stop wasting your breath on him, just push him off!" Emily hid behind David, covering her mouth and nose tightly with a relatively clean handkerchief, looking at me as if I were a pile of excrement reeking of plague. "The stench of death and poverty on him is truly nauseating."

A sharp blade was violently strangling inside my chest .

This is the person I risked everything to protect.

I didn't beg for mercy, nor did I hurl insults like a wronged woman. I simply looked up and stared intently at that despicable couple.

In this wasteland , no amount of spittle can save a life; only absolute violence can end everything.

"Nice eyes, fierce enough! I love tormenting tough guys like this!"

Meat Hook, a minor leader of the Blood Blade Gang, emerged from the shadows, letting out a maniacal laugh. He walked to the edge of the pool, raised his right leg studded with iron nails, and kicked me hard in the chest.

I instantly plunged into a green abyss !

Deep green radioactive venom engulfed my head. Eighty degrees Celsius and a corrosive liquid comparable to concentrated sulfuric acid coated my skin. I vaguely heard the excited countdown of the thugs on the shore, anticipating the emergence of a completely melted skeleton.

I thought I was going to die.

Until a cold, emotionless electronic voice suddenly seized control of my brain:

[Warning! Detection of hyperdimensional radiation contamination energy access…]

[Original body has reached the destruction threshold… Genetic suppression lock forcibly severed!]

[Wasteland hidden talent established: 'Nuclear Explosion Fury Gene'—Activated!!]

Boom!

Accompanied by a roar deep within my brain, the deadly venom that should have melted me instead flowed through my burned pores, like rivers converging into the sea , frantically pouring into every cell of my body!

A terrifyingly powerful force exploded within my meridians. I heard my broken thigh bone making a chilling "crackling" sound. Under the stimulation of radiation, the shattered bone was forcibly straightened, reorganized, and calcified like a high-density alloy at a speed visible to the naked eye!

There was another layer of extreme nuclear energy that started from my spine and spread all over my entire torso in a second.

Power! A violent force capable of tearing the entire sky swelled a thousandfold in my veins!

Is this the screams they wanted?

Then let them hear them to their heart's content!

"Splash—!!!"

Under the incredulous gazes of all the thugs on the shore, the boiling waste pool exploded as if struck by a heavy torpedo, sending up a five-meter-high curtain of toxic water!

I stepped on the pile of dry bones at the bottom of the pool, and my newly grown left leg suddenly pushed off the surface, landing heavily on the iron grille of the execution ground .

The dark red patterns on its body radiated terrifying heat, instantly evaporating the remaining venom into a large cloud of white mist.

I stared at the three-finger-thick tungsten steel chain piercing my wrist, and my arms, already bulging like steel muscles, suddenly shuddered.

"Crack!!!"

The tungsten steel chain, strong enough to drag a tank, didn't even last half a second in my hands, being brutally torn into several twisted pieces of scrap metal, crashing to the ground with a "clang."

"Mutated! This kid has mutated! Quickly, let the mad dog down and kill him!" Meat Hook's features contorted in terror as he screamed hoarsely.

The gates swung open, and a level-two mutated mad dog, the size of a calf, covered in festering bones, roared, its blood-red maw lunging straight for my throat.

I didn't dodge. Under the super-long-range dynamic capture brought by the nuclear explosion gene, this monster that could once easily tear me apart was as slow as a toad struggling in the mud.

I abruptly raised my right arm, gripping the monster's jaws tightly.

In the deathly silence of the hundreds of thugs gasping for breath, my fingers clenched inward!

"Thud!"

Like a ripe walnut being smashed by a hammer, the enormous dog's head was crushed in my palm! Piercing, dark green blood and brain matter splattered like a torrential rain onto the surrounding metal walls.

I casually tossed the mangled flesh aside, and through the swirling white mist, I looked up, my eyes, now filled with a deep red radiant light, fixed intently on everyone in the stands.

"Monster...monster!" Meat Hook's legs trembled like leaves, finally collapsing to the ground, desperately pulling out his pistol and screaming, "Fire! Fire the hell out of this monster!!!"

Just as the thugs were about to raise their guns, the situation suddenly changed .

"Bang—!"

A deafening gunshot rang out from the second-floor stands!

The bullet didn't hit me; instead, it pierced the back of Meat Hook's skull with deadly accuracy, like smashing a watermelon.

All the thugs instantly fell silent, their gun-wielding hands frozen in mid-air, even their breaths stopped.

In the shadows of the second floor , a woman in a black tactical leather jacket descended the iron staircase . She was voluptuous, twirling a large-caliber revolver with a scorching barrel. This

was Selena, the true leader of the Bloodblade Gang, the infamous, madwoman godfather of the wasteland.

She gently blew away the gunpowder smoke, her beautiful eyes gleaming with a fanatical lust for extreme violence, fixed on me, who seemed like a demon descended to earth.

Her red lips parted slightly, her voice carrying an undeniable death threat that echoed throughout the room:

"Anyone who dares to fire a single shot at him will meet their end with a meat hook."

Selena stopped , looking down at me condescendingly, and pointed a finger at me: "That was a beautiful kill… This beast that can tear hell apart, I want it alive."
