Introduction

“Alpha! Alpha please! Don't hurt me. Please, let me go.” I begged him, but he didn't stop twisting my arm.

“Let you go! So you want me to let you go so easily. You make a mistake, you get punished.” He whispered in my ear, yet his words were so wicked, it sent shivers to my spine.

“Please, alpha. I will behave from now on. I will not try to run. Please, don't do this. You are hurting me.” I begged him again. But he had no mercy.

I watched his smirk turn into something twisted and mischievous. I screamed in pain when he broke my forearm. He broke the bone right in the middle, splitting it in half. “You betray me, and I will make your life a fucking living hell.” He growled in my ear before he pushed me on the ground and walked away.
…………

Althea was hated by the pack. She was the daughter of the traitors. Traitor's blood, that's what she was called after her parents tried to abduct the alpha's daughter. The only reason she was in the pack was because of her first love. But he betrayed her as well. Althea only wanted someone to love her. But all she faced was resentment and hatred. Hatred, in exchange for her beauty. She endured everything with a smile, until she finds out that her true mate is her cousin. A forbidden relationship she never wanted, the man who hated her the most.

(Note! For those who want to lecture me over this novel being disgusting, don't judge the book without reading it.)

Chapter 1

ALTHEA

My whole world shattered before my eyes as I watched them together. My best friend, with my mate. The man who I was supposed to trust blindly, the man I thought was my happiness. That same man was cheating on me. My best friend was on his lap, as they fucked. Tears welled up into my eyes as I looked at them through the creek.

After so many promises from his side, I trusted him with everything. I believed him. And he was betraying me while being in his office with her. It was his birthday. I had prepared a feast for him. I just went out of the house to get a cake for him. The cake fell on the ground when I pushed the door open and barged into his office.

“Goddess!” Callista, my best friend, the one whose life I saved from the rogues, whispered as she climbed off of my mate's lap, looking through the scattered clothes, to hide her body.

“Really? Goddess! That's what you are gonna start with. Goddess. After committing adultery with my mate, you are calling upon Goddess. Am I really the third wheel? Or you were just so disparate that you had to spread Your Legs For My Mate Like A Whore!!!” I screamed at her angrily.

“THEA!!?” I heard my mate screaming at me. Before I could turn to look at him, a sharp slap collided with my face. My face snapped the other side, my neck started hurting and I fell on the ground. I tasted blood inside my mouth.

I stood back up, glaring at him. “Did you just slap me because of her? I am your mate. She is supposed to mean nothing to you.” I growled at him, glaring at Callista who was hiding behind my mate. He didn't even try to wear his boxers back.

“Mate! Is that your flex or something? You are nothing but a walking bucket of embarrassment.” His words shattered my heart.

“I am an embarrassment to you? You didn't think so last night. You didn't think so before.” I screamed at them, trying to fight back.

“Do you really think I would ever be happy with you? You are nothing. You have nothing. You are not well educated, you have no wolf, and you can never be the beta woman this pack deserves.” His response cut my heart into two.

“You wanted this. You begged me to mark you a few years back. You can't just change your mind whenever you want to. You can't have it your way whenever you feel like it.” I screamed back at him. I wanted to get a hold of Callista for betraying me after everything I did for her.

Alexander was constantly pushing me away from her. “I am sorry, Althea. I couldn't control it. I love him so much. I never wanted to hurt you. It just happened. I didn't mean to.” As always, she started crying crocodile tears.

I was seeing the true faces of the two people I trusted the most. They both betrayed me in the worst way possible. “You didn't seem to love him so much when you were fucking Dylan and telling him how unmanly Alexander was, who two faced whore. I will kill you.” I screamed at her again, anger making me senseless.

“How dare you call her names, you fucking useless infertile woman?” Just the words broke my soul in ways I never imagined. Until he grabbed the back of my neck and slammed my head against his glassed table. I fell on the ground, falling into the void.

I was almost near the borderline of the pack. Breathing heavily, I was looking around from behind the bushes. I needed to make sure that no one was following me. I knew if I got caught, that would be the end of me. Alpha was the monster. And I didn't want to be with him anymore.

As the guards were to switch places, it was my time to run. I got up and was about to run away from that hell forever when someone grabbed me by my hair and I was slammed against the ground. “Going somewhere, Luna? Alpha is pissed.” It was his beta.

“Please, don't take me back to him. He won't kill me, but torture me until I beg for death. And he will still not give me what I want.” I cried to Beta, not wanting to be dragged back to the alpha's cabin.

He was the beta of that monster. How could I just imagine that he would have mercy on me. I was dragged back to the cabin where Alpha was cracking his knuckles. His eyes were dark with anger. I was handed over to the alpha like some sack of potatoes.

Alpha dragged me back into the cabin, back to his bedroom. When I raised my head, the smirk on his face made me pee in my pants. I would have been disgusted but I was more concerned about my well-being. Suddenly, he was crouching down right in front of me and he grabbed my arm.

“You wanted to run away from me? You dare make that mistake?” He growled at me. He deliberately wore a mask that shook my soul with fear.

He started twisting my arm slowly but very painfully. I tried not to make a sound since he hated when someone cried in front of him. He called them weak. “Alpha! Alpha please! Don't hurt me. Please, let me go.” I begged him, but he didn't stop twisting my arm.

He laughed out loud, it was a wicked laugh that made my stomach churn with fear. Like everyone else in my life, he was making fun of me too. “Let you go! So you want me to let you go so easily. You make a mistake, you get punished.” He whispered in my ear, yet his words were so wicked, it sent shivers to my spine. I could barely breathe after hearing him say the word punishment so casually.

I grabbed his foot with my free hand, hoping my submission would wake him up from that episode. He had these episodes where he couldn't control his anger. And since I was the only one with no one to defend me, I always became the victim of his anger. “Please, Alpha. I will behave from now on. I will not try to run. Please, don't do this. You are hurting me.” I begged him again. But he had no mercy.

I knew I was his personal punching bag. He made me experience it more than once, since I got to his pack. My body was covered with bruises and cuts. All that I had gotten from him. “I told you that you can never run away. It was part of our deal. You decide to disobey me.” he whispered in my ear then licked my earlobe.

I watched his smirk turn into something twisted and mischievous. I screamed in pain when he broke my forearm. He broke the bone right in the middle, splitting it in half. “You betray me, and I will make your life a fucking living hell.” He growled in my ear before he pushed me on the ground and walked away.
