Introduction
Chapter 1
Lily Mayer lay on the bed in the hotel she was asked to wait in. It was pitch dark, she could not see a thing. Tonight was her inspection. To an old, weird man that could pass for a monster for all she cared.
While she was waiting for what would be her fate, her body stiffened when she heard the sound of the door click open. The door made a long, spooky creak, and then she heard footsteps enter the room and close the door behind. Her throat became dry in fear. Harold Bamak had walked into the room.
It was believed that "Harold the weird one" as he was fondly called in the city, was a vile man. He hardly had women around him, actually, there were no women around him at all, which made people believe that it was because he was impotent. Apart from that, other rumors had it that he was wicked, queer and mischievous in his dealings. No family, no matter how greedy they were, gave their daughter out to someone like Harold, for pleasure or marriage, they never dared to do so. However, Lily's family did. There she was, in a dark room with this monstrous man looming over her. She shut her eyes tight, not wanting to see the horror that she was involved in.
Lily's dad was cash-trapped. Her family were in the worst of times financially, so they borrowed money from a loan company. However, they couldn't afford to pay back their loan. The company threatened to take her dad's life if he didn't fulfill his end of the bargain, so he arranged to give Lily over to them as exchange for loan he owed.
Lily's elder sister could have been the one sent out as this sacrificial lamb, given that she was older than Lily, and was in a better position to be given out, but for some reason, Lily was chosen.
Given that it was a sexual exchange that would lead to marriage, Lily had to go through an inspection. An inspection involved the person taking her, checking her entire body out, to see if she was qualified. How insulting. But what could she do? It was like bargaining for the best parts of meat in the market, and doing away with the ones that were not good enough. Lily was a cheap commodity, waiting for her owner to take her home with him.
The fact that it was rumored that Harold was an old man, yet he was not married. It made Lily believe that indeed, he was impotent. Or he was a sexual extremist, that practiced all sorts of abusive fetishes, so females stayed away from him.
"Are you afraid?" Harold asked Lily when he removed the blanket that covered her from her body, and she screamed.
"Oh my days"Lily screamed repeatedly when Harold's large hands touched her. As far as she was concerned, it was the devil himself that stood by her in that hotel, with no one else around them to help her, in case he hurt her. His coarse voice confused Lily. Was he upset, or was he being pleasant to her? She had no idea.
"Ye...yes, I am afraid, but I can try to bear it" Lily replied, gritting her teeth. The thought of her dad suffering harm at the hands of these people that he owed money, made her decide to try and overcome her fear, but it was difficult.
"I'd turn on the light then, so that you will..." Harold was saying, and moving to turn on the lights, but Lily held him back.
"No, no. I am fine without the lights on" Lily said. Her voice was trembling. It was obvious that she was so afraid. She just could not hide it.
Although Lily was in this scared state, she started to think that the man was a gentle man. Initially, she thought that by now he would have forced her clothes off, and handled her in a rough way, but he was taking his time to make sure that she was comfortable, before he did anything to her.
However, turning on that light was a big no. She didn't want to see his face. She could swear that if she laid eyes on the horrible man, from what she had heard about him, that she would faint.
Harold stroked her cheeks when he realized how afraid she was of him. He didn't mean any harm to Lily, but he could not deny the fact that people were scared of him, and she was not going to be an exception.
"Please sir, I've never done this before. Can you take it easy on me? Please I beg of you" Lily told him. Harold smiled and released a gentle aura around him. He trailed his fingers from her face, down to her lips, feeling her collar-bone and her belly button, and then he caressed her seductive spot. Lily froze. As far as she was concerned, she was like a pillar, stiff and unable to move in any direction. She clutched onto the blanket beside her, nervous for the life of her and what was going to happen next. Her grip was so strong on the blanket, she thought that it was going to rip off to pieces. Harold could tell that she was afraid, but he continued to keep his hands on her, as if he was enjoying breaking her spirit, so that she would be entirely his.
"Do you know why you are here, in this room with me?"Harold asked her.
"Yes, yes. I know I am about to become yours" Lily replied. Harold nodded.
"Exactly. You are going to become my wife. Your family needs money, right? You need my help with that, so you are the payment for my goodwill. Since I need a wife, you will be mine." He told Lily. While Harold said this, he moved his hand down to cover Lily's intimate part. The shame that she felt at the moment could not be doubled.
She thought it was her fate nevertheless. It was not time to worry about that for now. She had to help her dad, or else his life would be taken.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansion—a debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
