Zhyon · Completed · 87.9k Words
Introduction
Once destined to be Luna, Irene now hides behind a mask—barren, disfigured, and betrayed by the man who was supposed to protect her. When her mate, the Alpha, brings home a child that bears his unmistakable eyes and dares to ask her to raise it, Irene finally sees the truth: the attack that ruined her life was never random. it was planned.
But Irene isn’t broken. She's awakening.
Leaving behind the lies of the Silvermoon pack, she returns to her forgotten roots, to a father who once ruled the mighty Moonshadow pack and to a destiny no one saw coming.
Just when she thought she had lost everything, a chance encounter with a mysterious, sinfully powerful Lycan King ignites a spark in her soul and in her long-silent wolf.
Scarred, yes. Barren, maybe. But Irene is no longer a pawn in anyone’s game.
This time, she’s rewriting the rules and claiming her throne.
Chapter 1
Irene’s POV
“A disfigured, barren Omega can’t be the Luna of the Silvermoon pack.”
My heart throbbed in pain, and I bit the corner of my lip. Raising my head, I saw the rest of the Elders in the council room nodded in agreement to Elder Elodie’s word,
“Elder Elodie, watch your tongue. Irene is my Luna and nothing will change that!” Alpha Ryan growled as he jolted up his feet, making the Elders drop their heads.
Ryan glared at the council members, his sea-blue eyes that had once looked like the calm waves that melted my heart, now raged like a storm, as he defended me.
Months ago, I was attacked by rogues in the woods, poisoned with silver toxins that severed my bond with my Alpha wolf spirit, making me a weak, disfigured, Omega. The poison went too deep and it affected my womb.
My chest heaved as I locked eyes with Ryan, my traitorous heart skipping as he smiled softly at me. “Irene will be mine, whether barren or ugly, she will remain my luna.”
It would have felt so good to see Ryan stand by me in this condition, if I hadn’t just found out that he was behind the attack. Why would he do this to me?
I wanted to see his end game. I balled my fist, my heart quaked in wrenching pain, it refused to accept that the man who I thought was the best thing in the was my worst enemy.
I felt my mate bond pulsing under the scrutiny of his gaze, my wounded wolf whimpering very faintly at the back of my mind. I drew a deep breath, forcing myself to smile back at Ryan.
Half my face was covered with a white feathered mask, covering the scar that ran from my temple to my chin.
“This meeting is over,” Ryan declared, and in a few minutes the elders all walked out of the room.
Ryan had made a wrong choice of profession, I must commend his acting abilities. “I will find a way to get an heir, sweetie. No one else can take your place, not in this pack or in my heart.” His hand flew to his chest as he spoke, walking up to me.
Yeah right, arsehole.
“I promise to fix this…” I pressed my eyes shut when his slim finger touched up my waist, gliding down my lower back as he paused on the curve of my butt. I gasped, it felt as though roaches were crawling on me.
Why the fuck can’t he keep his hand away? I’m trying to tolerate him here.
He stepped back after placing a kiss on my forehead, before walking out of the room.
“Thank goddess, I didn’t have to push him away,” I breathed, rolling my eyes.
“Babe, I told you I will fix it, right?” Ryan asked as barged into my room.
I rushed down to my mask, and wiped away the tears that glittered on my cheeks, before I turned from the mirror, and faced Ryan. He held a young child in his hand.
What is this now? I thought as I walked up to meet him in the center of the spacious room. Ryan had a bright smile on. My stomach churned in disgust as I smiled back at his incredibly handsome face. He had fooled me with his cute smile, not again.
“This is Brandon, he lost his parents in his pack war. We should adopt him and name him as our heir, this is mostly for the good of the poor child.”
“Poor child.” I clicked my tongue as I squatted next to him. “How are you, Brandon?”
He smiled brightly. His sea blue eyes made shiver run down my spine. This smile, it cannot be mistaken. His dusty brown hair. Damn it.
For a moment I was caught off guard as I stared at the kid in shock. This must be Ryan’s child. How dare Ryan bring his child with his lover for me to adopt and raise as mine? After he made me barren himself?
Oh, this must be the game plan all along. Well played Alpha Ryan… well played. You hurt me so badly, almost tearing my soul from my body, so your lover’s child for you would be the heir of the pack.
My chest heaved heavily as a fresh pang of betrayal stabbed my inside. The back of my eyes burned, tears threatened to pour out. I balled my fist so tight, stopping myself from quivering out of pain.
I looked away, slowly standing up, my long lashes flipped frantically in a bid to draw back the tears. “Oh Ryan,” I started, facing him with a grin, my arms crossed over my chest. “Fate is a bitch, you know. How does Brandon look just like you, but nothing like me?”
Ryan’s face turned blue as he stared at me wide-eyed. “Eh- how… I said his parents died in a war. Common Irene.”
I narrowed my eyes at him, causing him to scratch the back of his head nervously.
You should be worried, Ryan. For taking me for a fool, you should be worried. I pressed my lips into a thin line as I struggled to hold my laughter.
“I was just kidding. Brandon is a cute kid.”
“Yes?” Ryan voiced cheerfully, his eyes bright as he pulled me into a hug, I kept my face straight behind him, my hands by my sides as I refused to hug him back. “I promise to stand by you, there’ll be no more problems now that we have an heir”
What a good actor? I felt sick of his fake affection, it made me question if he had ever loved me.
“You are the best, Irene. You will forever be my beloved Luna.”
“That’s enough, Ryan.” I scowled as I pushed him off. When he saw the disgust on my face, his grin faded off. “I accept your kindness, but I’m afraid this is the end of the road.”
He frowned, stepping back in shock. “What- what are you saying?”
“I, Irene Howle, reject you Ryan Flyforth as my mate,” I growled at him, clenching my teeth as I felt our mate bond pulling apart, the pain mild. I had almost lost connection with my wolf anyway.
Ryan froze, his shoulders tensed as he grabbed his chest, writhing in pain. “You can’t- do that, Irene.”

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
