The Alien King's Alluring Obsession
Fire Spark · Completed · 203.5k Words
Introduction
His golden pupils held me in place.
His voice was a trap I couldn't escape.
Right then and there, I knew I was finished.
After the Earth was destroyed, the rest of humanity gathered on spaceship to drift. Finally, they found their optimal destination, Starn planet.
Edna Diaz was among the first few that was mandated to check the planet out.
She was abducted before she could do her job and her alien captors presented her to their King as a tribute.
After coming face to face with the Alien King's wild eyes, her struggle to leave stopped.
Something about his familiar golden eyes reeled her in and she didn't know how to get out.
Chapter 1
Edna
"Heartbeat, I can't wait any longer." His magnetic voice went from his lips to my brain.
I couldn't see him clearly but I could feel the heat from his touch.
"Who are you?" I asked in a trembling voice.
"You will know soon. It is just a matter of time." He replied.
His voice began to fade away and the heat from his touch dissipated slowly.
"Wait!" I shouted and my body sat up at the same time.
Sweat beaded on my forehead as I looked around.
There was no wild man with golden eyes.
Everything was a dream.
I was the only one in the room.
For some reason, I was very thirsty.
All the moisture in my mouth and throat seemed to have disappeared.
This wasn't the first time I had a dream about this strange and unknown man.
His appearance was covered by some kind of misty veil every time.
The only things I could notice was his touch and his mesmerizing golden pupils.
My faded shirt clung to my body like a second skin.
I didn't need to see him to feel the power he emanated though.
I can not wrap my head around the reason why I was having dreams about this man.
I did not count myself as one special person.
I was just one of the numerous females on earth.
These dreams started once I turned 18, I was 19 years old now.
The dreams went from sweet introduction to what it was now.
A year ago, I could only hear his voice.
Now, I could feel his touch on my skin and his golden eyes—the only thing I could see in his appearance—trapped me like I was prey.
I came down from the bed.
I guess it was time for another cold bath.
Bang!
The door to my bedroom flew open.
The force behind the door was violent.
I looked at the intruder.
It was my brother.
I should have known.
Nobody had the keys to this room except for the two of us.
A panicked expression was on his face.
I have never seen him look like that before.
Tyler, my brother was a tough man.
Only a few things in existence can faze him and put him on a red alert.
The current era we was born in had forged both of us.
Weakness was only reserved for family alone, nobody else.
Since our parents were no more, we had to be smart and watch each other's backs.
I don't really remember my parents. All I knew was that I had Tyler.
Since I could remember, we had always lived in a base in Manhattan.
The world outside wasn't inhabitable anymore.
It was the end of the world.
The plundering things humanity had done to the earth finally bore fruit.
It seemed the earth finally had enough. It started to strike back to remove the source of its destruction.
Natural disasters happened on a norm and the death toll was high.
Resources depleted rapidly while the soil depreciated.
The earth was spent.
I have heard of humans living in their own houses in past.
They had the right to choose their hobby and work.
Some of them were insanely rich while majority struggled under the control of trying to live well in the economy.
Cars could ride on the road without being interrupted by a random flood or snowstorm.
I had only seen mentions of these in some of the preserved books we have at the base library.
I thought it was fiction at first.
There was nothing human beings wouldn't do to comfort the dreary feelings this apocalypse brought.
Writing novels and fictions that featured imaginary things wasn't new.
Alas, the librarian told me those books were nonfiction.
People really lived like royalty those days.
"Brother, what do you mean? This base is made of great materials, it won't break down because of a random earthquake or hailstorm." I questioned.
I discarded the thought of going to the bathroom and walked over to where Tyler was standing in.
The panic on his face didn't reduce.
His demeanor was drawing me into a tense mood too.
The thing that could make my brother this panicked would not be normal.
"Edna, this is not a random snowstorm or earthquake. It is something that is so much bigger. The core of this earth had broken down." Tyler explained.
"What?!" My mouth dropped open.
The scientists in our base had already given an expiration date for the earth.
This wasn't the time they calculated.
That time was still far away.
"Don't be too shocked. The Earth's core is spilling lava and the surface area it covers is spreading." Tyler said.
"What would happen to all of us now?" I asked.
Within a limited time, my world was going to be destroyed.
"There is no time to talk. Pack your things into a bag. I have packed mine. The government has provided some spaceships to house humanity till we find another habitable planet to settle in." Tyler said.
My eyes strayed to the bag he was hanging in his shoulders. I was just noticing it now.
I rushed to my little wardrobe.
There was a small traveling bag hanging at the side of the wardrobe.
I grabbed it before swinging the doors of my wardrobe open.
My eyes scanned the things in the wardrobe. I settled on a few essential things.
I took the clothes and essentials before stuffing them in my bag.
"The government wants to take everyone? Is that really possible?" I asked as I continued to pack what I needed.
This wasn't about the government being bad or good. It was impossible to bring every human alive to stay in the spaceships they built.
The government should even be commended because of the fact that they created spaceships for the nearest future.
Although the apocalyptic times we are in reduced humanity's population drastically, the humans who were still alive numbered in hundreds of millions.
It would be a miracle if everyone got on the spaceships.
Worry ate at my heart.
I don't know if there was some kind of condition for getting on the spaceships.
I don't know if Tyler and I could meet those conditions.
I finished packing my things and zipped the bag up.
"Every family has two quotas. Those quotas are tickets to get on board. Hold your ID card, it would be needed to verify your family and identity." Tyler explained.
I heaved a sigh of relief.
Thank God.
Things would have been really ugly if one of us have to stay back.
The worst possibility would be if the two of us was abandoned. Thankfully, it didn't come to that.
"I'm done. Let's go." I said, "Where is the spaceship?"
I give my little bedroom one last glance before exiting.
I shut the door and followed my brother to the place the spaceships were.
The bases that was built to safeguard the remaining humans left on earth was made in a similar format.
It was built like a huge beehive.
The space available was managed and utilized in a way that would bring maximum benefits.
Each family would have one room assigned to them. To get more rooms, a person would have to work for points.
Money, gold and diamonds turned into scrap materials after the apocalypse set in.
Tyler was lucky enough to gain points when he ventured outside the base with a team. He moved out of the room we shared after that.
The room became my personal bedroom after he left.
"The spaceship is at the entrance of the base." Tyler replied, "Hurry, there is no time to waste."
We arrived at the entrance of the base in record time.
"Tyler! Take me with you! I don't have a quota." A familiar voice said.
Tyler and I looked towards the source of the voice.
It was Penelope Douglas, my brother's girlfriend.
My face darkened.
What did she mean by those words?
Our family only has two quotas!

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Balance of Light and Shadow
Little did she know how much both worlds need her to bring peace and true freedom.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Mr. Ryan
He came closer with a dark and hungry expression,
so close,
his hands reached for my face, and he pressed his body against mine.
His mouth took mine eagerly, a little rudely.
His tongue left me breathless.
“If you don't go with me, I'll fuck you right here.” He whispered.

My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."
The bitter truth? I've been reborn into the body of an overweight, weak, and supposedly dim-witted high school girl. Her life is filled with bullies and tormentors who've made her existence miserable.
But they have no idea who they're dealing with now.
I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The original Aria's life was a nightmare. Humiliated when golden boy Kai Matthews posted her love letter online, then shoved to death by his girlfriend Bella Morrison. But that's not all her family faces:
"You got until Monday," the tattooed gangster sneered at Aria's mother. "Ten grand cash. Or I'm taking collateral—your kids' organs fetch top dollar. That pretty daughter of yours? She could make us money another way too."
Now Angelina's lethal combat skills awaken in this fragile body. No more hiding. No more fear.
Armed with an Alpha's ruthlessness and a mysterious blood-red pendant, she'll dismantle everyone who hurt this family—one calculated move at a time.

Crowned by Fate
“She’d just be a Breeder, you would be the Luna. Once she’s pregnant, I wouldn’t touch her again.” my mate Leon’s jaw tightened.
I laughed, a bitter, broken sound.
“You’re unbelievable. I’d rather accept your rejection than live like that.”
