Chapter 1
"Was that your first kiss?"
A voice of a man that I've never heard before. Did he just kiss me?
There is a strange lingering feeling on my lips. My lips tingled and they ached slightly from his kiss. It felt like there was something that I wanted to say to him but my lips wouldn't move, and my chest felt tight as my heart beat wildly in my chest.
‘Yes, it was my first kiss,' I replied to him silently in my mind.
"Relax. Your body is all stiff and your cheeks are bright red. Are you shy or embarrassed? Or perhaps…both?" the voice asked teasingly.
I've never heard this voice before, and I had no idea who the man was. Everything around me was shrouded in darkness like there was a heavy smoke clouding my vision. He was near but I couldn't see him or his face clearly. It was like he was here and yet he wasn't.
"Did you enjoy your first kiss? Should we give it another try? Maybe your second kiss will feel so good that it'll make you forget all about your first…" the man suggested seductively.
He's going to kiss me again?
Although I had no idea who this man is, the thought of him kissing me again didn't disgust me. Instead, I found myself looking forward to sharing that kiss with him. Without knowing what was happening, I found myself so attracted and captivated by his voice that I couldn't think of anything else.
Ring Ring Ring
"Hmmm…"?
My mind felt hazy, and my eyelids felt heavy from sleep as I drowsily reached my arm out to where I knew the alarm clock was sitting on top of the table next to my bed. Morning has arrived and it was time to face reality once more. My hand found the alarm clock and managed to silence the alarm without the need for me to open my eyes.
The sunlight shining in through the slightly parted curtain of the window stung my eyes when I slowly opened them. The familiar plain white ceiling of my room greeted me, and I knew that I had woken up on my small narrow bed in my bedroom. Where else could I be?
Summoning up all the effort that I had, I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. Needless to say, I was alone in my bedroom and there were absolutely no signs of a man ever being in there. His voice and his presence that felt so close to me were gone. It didn't surprise me, after all, this wasn't the first time that I've had dreams very similar to the one that I had just had. Every time he appeared in my dream, and I heard his voice, my mind would try to remember where I've heard his voice before and the answer that I would arrive at would always be the same I have never heard his voice before.
At least, not in real life.
A sigh escaped my lips and my shoulder drooped at the realization that it was nothing but another dream. That made me realize that I was slightly disappointed that he wasn't here. I shook my head rapidly from side to side to clear my thoughts. Why did I sound like I wanted to meet him so much? I don't even know who he is...and he's probably just a pervert from all the suggestive things that he kept saying to me.
Milla, he doesn't exist!?
I reminded myself again just like I had done countless times before. A dream is nothing more than a dream.
Oh no! I'm going to be late and being late today would be a real disaster! After all, today is the day that I've been anxiously waiting for. Today was the day that I would go into the city where I would get a decent and respectable job. I had worked hard to be recommended for a job position in the city and I wasn't about to blow it by being late.
I got up hurriedly from the bed and after sprinting through the shower and getting properly dressed, I headed downstairs to the first floor of the orphanage where I knew that everyone would be waiting to send me off.
"Good luck, Milla!"?
"Best of luck at work. I hope you like your new job. Come visit us often, ok?"
"Take care of your health, ok? Don't work too hard and don't worry about things around here. We'll manage…"
"It would help if you send back the money, though…"
The other younger girls in the orphanage shouted quite loudly to send me off. I looked at their smiling faces as I recalled the many memories that we shared. I'm going to miss them when I'm gone but I knew that this was for the best.
"Don't worry. I plan to do exactly that," I promised, meaning every word that I had just said.
"It's time to go. We have an important appointment with your employee in the city and it is a long ride from here to there," Mr. Helkins said curtly.
"Ok. We'll then, I'll be off…" I told all the other girls before I smiled and waved at them.
Back then, I never thought that that would be the last time that I would ever see their faces. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would never see them ever again…
Later that night
I have never seen this much money before in my entire life…
The spotlight shining down on me was so blindingly bright that I could hardly see very far into the audience. That light now was being blocked by countless green bank notes that were raining down onto me from above. I raised my hand above my face to grasp at one of the falling notes to see if this was real or if I was just dreaming all this up. Instantly, I felt the feel of the note in my hand along with the weight of the chain attached to the metal shackle around my wrists.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.

Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
