Introduction
One day, a girl named Lisa gets lost in the werewolf territory while searching for mushrooms, unaware she has ventured too far into a forbidden forest. Lisa is a half-elf who can heal various illnesses with her hands. Her life is unfortunate as everyone always mistreats her, and surprisingly, Lisa chooses to marry an alpha to change her life.
Can Lucanne quell the great war that the Moon Goddess predicted would cause many deaths after he marries Lisa? Can Lisa change her fate after marrying Lucanne and help prevent the great war from happening in the future?
Chapter 1
"Alpha, we're running out of food, and our meat stock will only last for another 2 days," Mark said. He was a Beta.
Luccane Dominic stared at him sharply. "Tell the warriors to go hunting now!"
"But Alpha, the humans have already caught those animals for their own food. I think we should find a new pack," Mark replied.
"This is our forest and territory, those humans have become so greedy that they took all of our food. Take me to the border now! We'll hunt human flesh," Lucanne said.
Lucanne Dominic was a respected alpha in his colony. He was skilled in combat and warfare, which led to winning the war between werewolf clans a few years ago. He had built a large werewolf colony in this pack even from several clans. Lucanne was also a wise alpha, capable of nurturing his subordinates.
However, Lucanne grew to hate humans lately because they kept hunting animals for their own interests. Whenever anyone entered the werewolf territory, Lucanne wouldn't hesitate to kill them.
Although Lucanne and his colony were half-human, their food still consisted of meat taken from the forbidden forest. Why was it called a forbidden forest? Because humans themselves named it as such. The existence of werewolves was still considered mythology for humans, and Lucanne was clever in hiding his pack from them. If any human entered his area, they would never be able to return home.
"Alpha, I apologize. You shouldn't be bothered with such matters," Mark said.
"Mark, I am your leader, and food is the source of our strength, so it is also my responsibility as the leader," Lucanne replied.
After reaching the border, they crossed paths with Sean, a gamma who was just as clever and could form a group of mighty warriors.
"Alpha, are you going into the human territory? Let me and the warriors hunt there," Sean suggested.
"I will go there alone to see the situation firsthand. This time, we'll hunt human flesh. There's no tolerance anymore, humans have become our enemies," Luccane declared.
Leaving the pack behind, Luccane walked towards the northern part of the forest. The sunlight struggled to penetrate the dense trees there, making it damp and dark.
Luccane stopped in his tracks and turned his body towards Lisa.
"You better stay quiet, or I'll tear apart that sweet-looking flesh of yours," Luccane said.
"Who are you all? Where are you taking me?" Lisa asked.
Luccane didn't answer and continued walking toward his pack. Lisa kept observing her surroundings until she noticed the trees towering higher, making the forest darker. They had entered the werewolf territory, and the people there looked at Lisa disapprovingly.
Warriors pushed Lisa until she fell to the ground. Who were these terrifying beings who could live in a place like this?
"Alpha, why did you bring her here? Are you sure you want to eat human flesh? I've tried it, and it's tough," Mark said.
"Tie the girl up! I don't need a lot of questions; do as I command!" Luccane replied.
"Alright, Alpha."
They then tied Lisa to a tree. She didn't know what she had done wrong, but everyone here was terrifying.
"What did I do wrong?" Lisa asked.
Luccane approached and sensed the sweet aroma coming from her body. A blend of vanilla and roses intertwined into one.
"Are you a regular human?" Luccane asked.
"Aren't you a human too?" Lisa replied.
Luccane's hand touched Lisa's hand, and he felt an extraordinary vibration, causing him to step back.
"What's wrong, Alpha?"
"Take this girl to the prison! She's a half-elf, and according to the legend, she can destroy all werewolves. I'll kill her with my own hands," Luccane said.
Lisa was taken to the werewolf prison, the most frightening place for werewolves who committed grave offenses. Everyone looked at her scornfully, especially since the Alpha declared her dangerous.
"I don't know anything, and I just want to go home." Lisa shed tears and pleaded to be released.
"Silence!" Sean snapped.
After reaching the prison, Lisa was tied up, and Luccane tore her dress, revealing a tattoo that the elves always possessed.
"Alpha, is the prophecy true? She's just an ordinary girl," the Beta said.
"Everyone, get out!" Luccane ordered.
Now, Luccane and Lisa were alone in the prison. Lisa spat at him because she was already furious.
Luccane's hand gripped her neck and slammed her body onto the ground.
"I don't know anything. Why are you doing this?" Lisa asked.
"Because you are an elf. Who inherits your genes?"
Lisa shook her head as if she didn't understand the conversation.
"Alpha, Nick wants to talk to you right now!" Mark said.
Hearing Nick's name made Luccane realize that he had to meet his brother, who was currently sick. Nick's condition was getting worse, and no doctor could cure him.
"Guard this girl and don't let her escape! I can't wait to tear apart her sweet flesh during the full moon tonight," Luccane said.
