The Alpha's Seductress
Bree · Completed · 241.2k Words
Introduction
His voice was raspy, cold, and utterly devoid of the passion that had consumed us just seconds ago. I was still sitting on his mahogany desk, naked, my legs dangling, my breath coming in ragged gasps, while he calmly buttoned his shirt as if he hadn't just railed me into oblivion.
My mission was simple: Enter the Stone Heart Pack, seduce Alpha Williams, find his secrets, and kill him. I was Cleopatra, the best assassin in my pack. I don't catch feelings; I catch bodies. But Alpha Williams was... different. He was a predator who knew exactly how to play with his prey.
I had been caught snooping in his office. He found me holding the secret bottle I needed to hide my scent. I thought I was dead. I thought my cover was blown. So I did the only thing I could to distract him. I dropped the bottle, pulled down the shirt I was wearing—his shirt—and stood before him, bare and inviting.
It worked. God, did it work. He didn't ask questions. He just took.
But now, watching him walk away with that icy glare, leaving me used and confused on his desk, I realized something terrifying. I might have his body, but I was nowhere near his secrets. And worse? The bottle—the only thing keeping my true identity safe—was now in his pocket.
"Clean up," he ordered without looking back.
I smirked as the door closed. He thinks he won this round. He has no idea that the game has just begun.
Chapter 1
Cleopatra's POV
" You know why you're in the Stone Heart Pack today right?" My beta asked and I nodded.
" Words Cleopatra, use words when I speak to you," Beta Jack said with the hard voice I was used to. If it was those days when he used to train me I would have been shaking in fear, but now
I knew who I was, I was a strong confident woman who could take on any man in our pack and I'm not joking.
" Yes Beta Jack, my job is to seduce alpha Williams, find out everything about him, and kill him," I said with my chin held high.
" Good, now get ready, the party will be starting soon, you know what to do," He didn't wait for my response, he just left the room.
" Such an annoying man," I muttered to myself.
I looked in the mirror and all I could see in my eyes was determination, determination to do what I always do, kill the target.
I applied my signature lipstick, red, it was my favorite. When I was satisfied with my look I arranged my hair then looked at myself in the mirror one last time before leaving the room.
If you're wondering where I'm going and what job my beta has been all about, then I'd like to make things clear.
Today is the annual ball of all packs where they come together in unity for the celebration of alliance and peace. The problem was, that the host was anything but peaceful.
Alpha Williams Deluca.
Alpha Williams was known to be one of the ruthless alphas, he took any pack he felt like taking, and any woman that was to his liking he took, it was even rumored that he killed his mate. There are so many lands and territories he had taken over. He was so powerful that no man had been able to go against him.
Good thing I wasn't a man.
So many packs have tried to go against him but they all ended terribly.
But this was what I had been trained for. To be the alpha's seductress. And that is what I plan on achieving. I had never failed in any of my tasks and I didn't plan on disappointing my pack, they were looking up to me.
As I got closer to the hall where the ball was holding I could hear people chattering. The staring started, I was a beautiful woman and I was used to the stare people gave to me whenever I walked past them.
They boasted my already high confidence even more.
A woman looked so angry as she tried to turn her man's face back to her as he got lost staring at me. I couldn't help but chuckle when they started arguing, I didn't ask him to look at me.
I entered the hall and the staring continued but I had a target. I saw beta Jack talking to someone, our eyes met and he nodded at me but I just turned my eyes away from him, looking for my target.
He had to be here somewhere.
I kept walking further into the hall, my chin held high as I kept looking around with my eyes until I saw him.
Bingo.
With calculated steps I walked to him, I added more sway to my hips as I walked with confidence toward him, he was surrounded by women but I didn't care, they could go look for someone else but the alpha was mine.
But just when I reached him I had a change of plan.
I purposely slipped on my dress heading for the ground but just as expected, arms wrapped around me, and my blue eyes came in contact with black hard eyes.
For a moment we just remained in that awkward way, bent in a dip like we were dancing.
He stared at my eyes looking captivated by them, that was one of the powers of my blue eyes, they had the power to draw anyone in, even a hard alpha.
He finally helped me stand upright as I kept staring into his eyes.
" Be careful next time," He said in a deep voice and I finally looked down like I was shy.
" I'm sorry, it's just that I got so captivated with your face that I forgot to watch where I was going," I said boldly.
" Interesting," I heard him say.
" Me or the ball?" I asked.
He looked at me with a raised brow and I just stared at him with my arms folded.
" I've never seen you before, are you from around here?" He asked.
" Maybe you haven't been looking in the right place," I said as I chuckled but nothing in his face changed, he still kept that hard look but there was no rock that couldn't be broken. It just needed the right tool.
" I'm from the Sliverfang pack, you've got such a beautiful pack I'd like to see more of it." I added, almost immediately.
" I can show you around," He said and I was surprised to hear that.
" How about you show me around tomorrow, but tonight you can start by showing me your room," I whispered seductively as I moved close to him, my hand touching his.
He looked down at me and if his eyes could get any darker I'd say they became darker.
Did I mention he liked women too much?
"I like bold women like you," he said as his hand went to take the hair on my face and put it behind my ear.
I bit my lips to add extra effect as my eyes became hooded and my hand went to his chest. I could feel eyes on me but I didn't care, they could judge me for all I care, if they knew my reason for being this close to him they would be kissing my feet.
" Well, since you insist, I'll give you a tour of my room."
Perfect, just perfect I thought to myself.
He took my hand and started leading me out but just as we reached the door.
The hall broke into chaos, screams and loud noises filling the room.
What the hell?!!

.
"I’m keeping her."
"What?"
Before I can react, he scoops her up. Her small body fits easily in the cradle of his talons. For a split second, she looks startled, but not afraid. Her hand rests against one scaled finger, and she stares up at him with that same curious wonder, as though she’s already forgotten she was ever meant to fear me.
"Put her down," I try to command, panic threading through my thoughts. "You’ll hurt her."
"She’s ours," the beast insists, possessive and fierce. "Our snowflake."
