Introduction
"How long can you keep fighting it?" She looked up at him. "The bond won't let you deny me forever."
"You think I want to?" His hands gripped the wall on either side of her head. "Every instinct I have screams to claim you, to hell with the consequences."
"Then do it." Luna curled her fingers in his lapels. "Choose me."
Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Marked by Fate
Luna Stone stared at the gleaming Manhattan skyscraper, her heart thundering against her ribs. The wolf inside her paced restlessly, catching a scent that made her dizzy with recognition. After twenty-three years of waiting for her fated mate, she'd finally found him.
And he was Dante Romano – ruthless billionaire CEO, notorious playboy, and most importantly, the Alpha of the most powerful wolf pack on the East Coast.
There was just one tiny problem.
She was here to interview as his new executive assistant, and fraternizing with employees was strictly forbidden at Romano Industries. Breaking that rule meant immediate termination – and she desperately needed this job to save her father's failing restaurant.
Luna smoothed down her pencil skirt, mentally reciting the lie she'd rehearsed. She couldn't let Dante know they were mates. Not yet. Not until she'd proven herself professionally and found a way around the company's iron-clad policies.
The elevator ride to the top floor felt endless. Her wolf whined, already straining toward its other half. Luna gritted her teeth, forcing her inner beast to submit. She'd spent years mastering control – she wouldn't let it slip now.
"Miss Stone?" The receptionist's voice cut through her thoughts. "Mr. Romano will see you now."
Luna's carefully constructed composure shattered the moment she stepped into his office. Dante Romano was even more devastating in person than in the magazines. Six-foot-four of raw power wrapped in a perfectly tailored charcoal suit, with jet-black hair and eyes that flickered between stormy gray and predatory gold.
Those eyes locked onto her now, widening almost imperceptibly. His nostrils flared – scenting her – and Luna saw the exact moment he realized what she was.
His mate.
In three fluid strides, he crossed the room. Luna's wolf howled in triumph as he invaded her space, his presence overwhelming every one of her enhanced senses. This close, she could see the way his pupils had elongated, the faint shimmer of fur threatening to break through his human skin.
"You're—" he started, voice rough.
"Here for the executive assistant position," Luna interrupted quickly, extending her hand. Professional. Distant. Safe. "Luna Stone. Thank you for seeing me, Mr. Romano."
Something dangerous flashed in his eyes. He took her hand, and the mate bond exploded between them – a rush of heat and recognition so powerful that Luna's knees nearly buckled.
Then Dante did the unthinkable.
He dropped her hand like it had burned him, taking two deliberate steps back. When he spoke, his voice was arctic. "Miss Stone. You should have disclosed your... nature in your application. We don't hire unmated wolves for senior positions. The risk of mate-bonds interfering with workplace dynamics is too high."
Luna's heart stopped. "I—what?"
"The position has been filled." He turned away, dismissing her. "Security will escort you out."
Luna stood frozen, her world crumbling around her. This wasn't possible. Fated mates couldn't reject each other. It went against every law of their kind.
But Dante Romano had just done exactly that.
Her wolf howled in anguish as two security guards appeared in the doorway. But it was the sight of the woman who sauntered in behind them that finally broke Luna's control.
Alessandra Carrington – the notorious she-wolf heiress who'd been photographed on Dante's arm for months. She wrapped herself around him possessively, shooting Luna a smirk that showed too many teeth.
"Darling," she purred, "you didn't tell me you were interviewing new assistants."
Luna barely heard Dante's reply over the roaring in her ears. Her wolf clawed at her insides, demanding to be released, to fight for what was theirs.
But Luna had been fighting her whole life. Fighting poverty, fighting prejudice, fighting to keep her father's dream alive.
She knew how to take a punch and stay standing.
Straightening her spine, she met Dante's gaze one last time. "Thank you for your time, Mr. Romano." Her voice was steady, betraying none of the devastation ripping her apart. "I suppose some things aren't fated after all."
She turned and walked out, head high, even as her wolf's anguished howls echoed in her mind.
She made it all the way to the street before she noticed her hands were bleeding – her claws had broken through, leaving perfect crescent moons carved into her palms.
Luna took a deep breath, focusing on the pain. She'd survived being orphaned at twelve. Survived raising her little sister while barely more than a child herself. Survived putting herself through college while working three jobs.
She would survive this too.
But first, she was going to find out why the most powerful Alpha in New York had just rejected his fated mate.
And then she was going to make him regret it.

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansion—a debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
