Rosamund · Ongoing · 418.2k Words
Introduction
James and I have been married for many years, and he has always been the model husband in everyone's eyes.
I never doubted him, until this moment, when I saw on the live broadcast a back view of someone who looked a lot like James walking past the camera, accompanied by a woman.
(I highly recommend a captivating book that I couldn't put down for three days and nights. It's incredibly engaging and a must-read. The title of the book is "The Billionaire's Daughter" You can find it by searching for it in the search bar.)
Chapter 1
Night fell quietly.
After finally getting my daughter to sleep, I thought I’d unwind by watching some videos.
Half-leaning against the headboard, I grabbed my phone and started scrolling mindlessly through the feed.
Then, out of nowhere, a live street shot caught my eye. I sat up straight, my gaze glued to the screen, but just as quickly, the stunning streamer shifted the camera away.
I felt a wave of unease wash over me, my hand growing clammy as I swiped through the screen. I quickly glanced at the timestamp on the camera to confirm it was a live broadcast and that it was happening locally.
Heart racing, I exited the app and called my husband, James Smith, via video chat. He’d been on a business trip in Cyberopolis for three days, but I had just seen him in that local live stream, his arm wrapped around another woman.
The phone rang for what felt like ages before it finally connected. The camera wobbled a bit, and then James's handsome, gentle face came into view. He looked right at the camera and smiled warmly, "Hey, honey!"
"Where are you?" I asked, scanning his surroundings, which looked like a restaurant hallway. He was dressed in a crisp white shirt and tie. But the woman in the live stream had been wearing a gray trench coat.
"I'm just having dinner with a client," he replied, stepping out to take my call. "What’s up? Is everything okay? Is Olivia asleep?"
"Are you in Cyberopolis?" I asked, ignoring his question.
"Of course, what's wrong?" He looked seriously at me through the camera, full of questions.
"Nothing..." I replied vaguely, then asked, "When are you coming back?"
"Soon, just as soon as I wrap things up here. Miss me?" He flashed me a loving smile. "I’ll try to hurry. It’s getting late, so make sure you get some rest. I’ve got to get back to work now. Bye!"
He blew me a kiss through the screen and then hung up.
I held my phone in a daze for a moment, feeling a bit annoyed with myself for being so paranoid.
James is truly one in a million—an amazing husband, not just handsome but also incredibly loving toward both me and our daughter.
When I first met him, he was still struggling financially. Even though he was from Skyhaven, his family was pretty ordinary, and he had a frail sister to care for. I chose him out of all the suitors purely because of his looks; there was just something about him that drew me in.
After graduation, I decided to stay by his side and used my parents' house as collateral to help him start a business. We launched a building materials company together. He handled the supplies while I worked tirelessly to land clients, pushing myself to the brink.
Fortunately, the company grew steadily, and I got pregnant, so I handed the company over to James and focused on raising our child and managing the household.
Our daughter, Olivia Smith, is now 4 years old, and our little family of three enjoys a comfortable and enviable life together.
Even though we never had a formal wedding, James has always felt guilty about that. He promised to make it up to me by giving us a good life.
So how could such a devoted husband even think about cheating?
I smiled, thinking I must miss James too much. I took one of James's shirts from the wardrobe, put it on, and imagined him. I pressed my breast with one hand and reached down with the other. When my fingers touched my clitoris, a wave of electricity swept through my body.
I pressed and kneaded, my hand moving faster and faster. Soon, I reached the peak of pleasure.
Exhausted, I lay on the bed wrapped in James's shirt. For some reason, I suddenly thought of the fleeting figure in the short video. James had a similar trench coat, which I had ironed for him before his trip.
I must have been seeing things.
The next day, James returned early. He wrapped his arms around me and Olivia, showering us with hugs and kisses, filling the room with a warm, cozy atmosphere.
After dinner, I put Olivia to bed early and took a shower. In the steamy bathroom, James came in and hugged me under the shower, kissing me passionately.
He was incredibly skillful, kissing from my lips to my nipples and then to my labia. He was teasing, circling my clitoris with his tongue but never touching the most sensitive spot.
"Honey, honey," I cried, begging. James finally showed mercy, gently sucking my sensitive spot. I could feel a warm flow down my thigh.
It was lust, an endless desire inside me. I craved something to penetrate me, to ride inside me.
"Honey, do you want it?"
"Yes."
James chuckled, pressing me against the cold wall. He lifted my hips, and his eager penis found the entrance and thrust in. I let out a coquettish moan.
After a moment of pleasure, the endless desire returned. James knew what I wanted and moved quickly. His thick penis thrust in and out of me.
Until I couldn't take it anymore, my legs gave out, and James finally showed mercy and let me go.
"Honey, let's continue in bed," James's sticky voice whispered in my ear. We continued in bed for over an hour until we were both satisfied.
Afterwards, he headed to the bathroom. As I watched his tall figure walk away, a smile of contentment spread across my face.
Just as I was about to get up and wash up myself, his phone on the nightstand lit up with a message. I glanced at it, and my heart skipped a beat as I froze in place.

His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
