Introduction
But Sean is drowning. Running on empty from a brutal case of insomnia, he discovers a bizarre secret: the only time his mind quiets is when he’s near Lyka. Desperate to give his son a stable guardian and eager to keep his only source of peace close, Sean offers Lyka a ruthless deal: a contract marriage. Only on paper. No feelings involved.
Forced into close proximity, the icy boundaries of their business arrangement begin to melt into a scorching, slow-burn passion. But between a media frenzy, a toxic manager, and a vengeful ex-girlfriend, their fake life is a battlefield. Just as Sean realizes his vows have become entirely real, a devastating secret about the night of the accident surfaces. The text messages that sent his late wife fleeing to her death came from Lyka’s phone.
Can love survive the ultimate betrayal, or was their marriage doomed from the very first signature?
Chapter 1
The glare of the vanity lights always gave me a headache by hour fourteen, but I didn't let it show. I stood just outside the frame of the cameras, a clipboard pressed against my ribs, watching the monitor as the director called action for the fifth time that evening.
On screen, Sean McGregor looked flawless. The camera loved the sharp, aristocratic line of his jaw, the intense, brooding depth of his dark eyes, and the effortless way he commanded a room.
At thirty years old, he was Hollywood royalty, a billionaire twice over from his production company, and a man adored by millions.
To the world, he was an untouchable icon. To me, he was the man who forgot to eat unless I placed a protein bar directly into his hand, the man whose schedules I had orchestrated down to the minute for the last five years.
For five years, I was the invisible force behind Sean McGregor.
I scheduled his life. I anticipated his needs before he even knew he had them. And, in the quiet, treacherous corners of my own heart, I loved him.
It was a hopeless, unrequited thing, a secret I guarded more fiercely than his private phone number. I had never expected him to look my way. Not when he was a happily married man, and certainly not now.
"Cut! Print that. Great job, everyone," the director’s voice boomed over the speakers.
The heavy tension on the soundstage evaporated instantly. Makeup artists and hair stylists swarmed Sean the second he stepped off the mark, but his eyes swept over the crowd, searching.
When his gaze locked onto mine, he gave a curt nod, dismissive of the crew around him, and began walking straight toward me.
My heart did that familiar, foolish stutter it always did, even after half a decade.
"The car is waiting in the back, Sean," I said smoothly as he approached, falling into step half a pace behind him as we navigated the maze of wires and set pieces.
"You have a 7:00 AM call for wardrobe tomorrow, and the legal briefs from the studio’s acquisition are already on your tablet."
"Cancel the wardrobe call. Push it to nine," Sean muttered, his voice rough with exhaustion. He rubbed the bridge of his nose, and for a fleeting second, the immaculate superstar facade slipped, revealing the hollow, shadowed valleys under his eyes.
He hadn't slept a full night in eight months. None of us had.
Eight months ago, a tragic car accident had shattered Sean’s perfect world, claiming the life of his wife, Valerie.
Sean had survived, but the wreckage had left a permanent scar on his life, specifically in the form of his four-year-old son, Leo. Leo had been in the backseat.
He had survived the physical crash, but the trauma had stolen his voice, leaving him completely mute and terrified of the world.
"I can't push it to nine, Sean," I replied gently, keeping my tone strictly professional despite the ache in my chest at the sight of his exhaustion.
"If we push wardrobe, the entire shooting schedule collapses, and the director will lose his mind. I did, however, have the chef prepare that chamomile and valerian root blend you liked last week. It’s in your thermos."
Sean stopped abruptly in the dim corridor leading to the dressing rooms. He turned to face me, towering over me, his scent, something sharp, expensive, and distinctly him, wrapping around my senses.
He looked down at me, his dark eyes intense, scanning my face with a strange, heavy scrutiny that made my breath hitch.
For years, his gaze had passed over me like I was a highly efficient piece of machinery. But tonight, there was a calculated, deliberate weight to the way he was looking at me.
"You always know exactly what's needed, Lyka," he said, his voice dropping an octave. It wasn't a compliment; it sounded like an observation. Like a man suddenly realizing a tool he owned was capable of doing a different job.
"It's what you pay me for," I managed to say, offering a polite, practiced assistant’s smile to mask the sudden racing of my pulse.
"No," Sean said softly, stepping closer, his shadow completely enveloping me in the quiet hallway.
"I pay you to manage my life. But right now, my life is falling apart, and Leo is the one paying the price." He paused, his jaw tightening as he made a decision that would change everything.
"Come back to the estate with me tonight. We need to talk about a new arrangement. A permanent one."
I stared at him, my throat suddenly dry. He wasn't looking at me as a man looks at a woman he desires. There was no romance in his eyes. There was only a desperate, calculating father looking for a lifeline.
I gripped my clipboard a little tighter, papers rustling against my tablet, balancing his favorite travel mug in my other hand as I frowned up at him. "What is this all about? Are you firing me?"
He stopped, his dark eyes sweeping over me, really looking at me for the first time in what felt like months. Then, he let out a low, nonchalant chuckle. "Do you think I’d survive a day without you doing everything?"
"Don't underestimate your brooding attitude, Sean. You'd survive without me for sure," I countered, falling into step as we made our way toward his massive, luxurious RV parked in the secure lot. "So you aren't firing me? Because you look incredibly serious."
I knew this man from head to toe. I knew the subtle twitch of his jaw when he was stressed, the slight crease between his brows when he was thinking, and the exact tone of his voice when he was genuinely worried versus when he was just trying to mess with me.
Five years of being his personal assistant had made him so readable that I sometimes joked to myself that I had developed the psychic ability to read his mind.
He didn't fire back with his usual dry wit. Instead, he just sighed heavily and looked down at his phone screen. I caught a glimpse of his wallpaper, a candid photo of Leo, his bright eyes now replaced by a haunted, vacant stare.
"It's Leo," Sean said, his voice cracking slightly under a weight no billionaire’s fortune could lighten.
"I don't know what is going on anymore, Lyka. I've tried everything. He won't listen to me. He won't listen to his tutors, or the child psychologists. I'm trying my best. Where did I go wrong?"

Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
They'll Regret This
My fiancé didn't just dump me—he proposed to her that same night. My so-called family handed me bus fare and a one-way ticket to the countryside.
Perfect. Let them think they won.
They don't know who I really am. The anonymous genius surgeon who saves lives when elite hospitals give up. The legendary artist whose paintings sell for millions at auction. The undefeated shadow queen of the underground fighting circuit. And the true heiress to a fortune that makes theirs look like pocket change.
Now my ex-fiancé begs on his knees. My fake sister's jealousy is eating her alive. And that cold, arrogant CEO who once threw our engagement contract in my face? He's hunting me down like a man possessed, desperate for one more chance.
They threw me away like trash to upgrade their lives.
Joke's on them.
I was always the upgrade.
Bella and Her Beast
.
Locked in her frozen tower, Bella dreamed of warmth, of touch, of freedom and of love. Cursed with the power of ice and snow, she’s spent her life alone. A secret they tried to protect the world from. Her only escape comes in the form of the books she reads. Stories of heat, desire, and the kind of love that could melt even her frostbitten heart.
Damien is the Beast. A dragon King with a temper forged in flame and a soul hollowed by duty. The world fears him. The people call him a monster. But beneath the scales and the rage lies a man who has never been touched by love.
When frost meets fire, the world shatters. She was never meant to leave her tower. He was never meant to find her. But destiny doesn’t bow to kings or care for cages and now the question burns through them both: Can Bella have her Beast? Or will the girl of snow melt in the heat of his desire?
.
"I’m keeping her."
"What?"
Before I can react, he scoops her up. Her small body fits easily in the cradle of his talons. For a split second, she looks startled, but not afraid. Her hand rests against one scaled finger, and she stares up at him with that same curious wonder, as though she’s already forgotten she was ever meant to fear me.
"Put her down," I try to command, panic threading through my thoughts. "You’ll hurt her."
"She’s ours," the beast insists, possessive and fierce. "Our snowflake."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.
