Introduction
Chapter 1
Naomi's POV
My heart hammered in my chest, as I stared at the huge building in front of me. An interview in Lkings Group and I'm already fucking it up. The interview was scheduled to be at 8:00am but I'm standing in front of the building at 8:30am. I knew how doomed I was and that I was supposed to give up, but I still moved my feet, finding my way through the busy lobby into the scheduled interview room.
“Number 28. Can I still get the interview? Something came up and I came in late” Panic was evident in my voice as I talked to the receptionist.
“You came late, Miss. The interview ended” She said and my jaw dropped, terror clawing at my chest.
“Can you please put in a word for me? I'm so sorry” I pleaded, rubbing my hands together.
“I'm sorry I can't do that, Miss. Please leave” I knew she wasn't going to listen to me, so I left her desk, bursting the doors to the interview room open before she could even stop me, and my gaze landed on the interviewers who were just preparing to leave.
Their laughter ceased as they glanced at me, all freezing on their spots.
“Please….. I'm here for the interview” My voice trembled, everything in me hoping they would consider me. I also knew I shouldn't be allowed a chance, I wasn't supposed to be late, but I was.
Three men. Two women.
The men and women glanced at their watch and then brought their gaze to me again. “You just showed how incompetent you will be if you ever get hired” One of the men said, and two other people agreed with him.
“Please…..just a chance” I begged but they weren't going to listen. They were determined not to even give me a minute to stay in the same space with them.
One of the women was leading me out when a voice stopped her.
“Let her be. We will interview her” He said, and I turned, meeting his gaze. His dark icy blue eyes. His commanding tone. His authoritative aura.
The boss. I knew without being told.
“Thank you sir. Thank you so much sir” I nearly cried.
The others murmured, but they dared not defy the man who had given me a chance, instead, they all went back to take their seats quietly. I took a deep breath and also took my seat on the seat provided for the candidates.
Then he called my name. “Naomi Trent?” The way my name rolled out of his tongue made my breath hitch, anticipation clawing at my skin. I was getting nervous, so nervous I started doubting my confidence.
“Yes sir” I answered, blinking my eyes.
“I'm Lucien” He said, making my eyes shot up in surprise. It's just like I had predicted. Lucien Kings—The young CEO of Lkings.
But why was he introducing himself to me? And with a smirk on his face. The other interviewers found it weird too.
One of the other interviewers parted his lips to talk, but wasn't able to because he had been cut off by Lucien.
“Do you follow orders when they are written or whispered?” He asked, and my jaws dropped, my ears finding it hard to process what I had just heard.
“S-sir?” I stuttered, face getting laced with shock.
That question. No matter how hard I thought about it, it wasn't work related. There was something dark and deep behind his words.
“You heard me well, Miss Naomi,” he said.
I gulped.
“I did Sir” I paused. “I do when they are whispered, Sir” I said and that got me wondering if I was also going crazy just like him because surely, he's not sane.
“Your voice is shaking, Miss Naomi” His smirk grew wider. “Are you always this nervous?” He asked, and I swallowed. Hard.
“No sir” I tried to compose, but it wasn't even working. I don't know, but the effect his voice has on me almost made me squirm.
“Do you think you can follow every command I give, Miss? I'm always rough and harsh” He said, and my cheeks suddenly feel hot, my most intimate part burning.
Am I the one overreacting? Or was he the one making me like this?
“Boss—” The woman beside him called his attention, but he didn't even bulge, he just had his eyes glued to me, burning into my skin.
I wouldn't dare hold his gaze, so I broke it. Turning to the other interviewers who were also in awe.
“Boss. Those are not part of the questions” The lady said, like she was getting furious.
“Miss Naomi” Lucien ignored her, bringing my gaze back to me.
“Ignore every other person in this room. I want you to see nobody but me” He said, and that sounded hellishly sexy!
“Y-Yes Sir” I stuttered again, gulping as I tried to keep myself sane. To hold myself from exploding because of this man in front of me.
“You blush easily, Naomi. Does your body gives you away that much?” He asked and I could swear I clamped my thighs together for a second. He even dropped the honorifics. He must be crazy! Lucien Kings must be crazy.
“I love red, Miss Naomi. Would you wear red if I told you to?” I hated red, but with this man in front of me asking for my opinion, I realized red wasn't that much of a bad option.
“I will, Sir” I said, and his lips curled up into a smile, his dark icy eyes burning my skin, turning every turnable thing on me on.
“You are hired” He dropped the word and I jumped out of my seat.
“W-what sir?” I wasn't the only shocked one, the rest of the interviewers weren't left out.
“I hire you, Naomi, to be my secretary” He said again, this time loud enough for everyone to hear, loud enough for anyone not to have an objection.
“But…Mr. Kings, we already chose someone” The other woman complained and she fell dead silent when he shot her a glare.
It dawned on m
e, another person had been chosen to be his secretary, but he—
He wants me. He chose me.

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
