Introduction

Kelsey Lieven, a beautiful accountant at Lazardo, was forced to marry the son of her father's friend, Weylin Malachy, a super cold CEO of Malachy Hotel.

Unfortunately, before the wedding was held, Kelsey suddenly disappeared. What really happened to Kelsey? And why was Weylin grateful that his future wife had disappeared?

And what will they do if they are reunited after six years?

Chapter 1

"Kelsey, please! Don't show your gloomy face like that or you won't get a man tonight," Samantha said as she giggled when she saw her best friend immediately freaked out.

They were in a nightclub to spend the night.

Kelsey sighed, and she really thought that her decision to agree to go to this place was wrong.

"Come on. We're having fun. Forget your troubles, Darling!" Emily hugged Kelsey.

Kelsey shook her head and tried to think positively. Samantha walked after her.

She paid for Kelsey's admission as well as Emily's. Samantha was very rich and Kelsey ever thought how could her best friend spend so much money without hesitation?

Samantha bought a lot of branded items and they were really expensive. She never missed new products from several well-known brands.

Kelsey often accompanied her on fashion hunts and was always surprised when she counted the money that she spent.

Even though she knew that Samantha's father was a famous business executive, she still thought that the girl was spending a lot of money on unnecessary things.

"Oh, Baby. Look at them! They're staring at you, Kelsey." Emily smiled at Kelsey.

But Kelsey immediately shook her head and then said, "No. They're not looking at me. They're looking at you, Em."

"Uh, really? Oh, I guess they are. They're looking at me." Emily smiled meaningfully and Kelsey rolled her eyes lazily.

Kelsey certainly understood very well. Of course, they would be more interested in her very beautiful friend.

Plus, Emily was currently dressed very elegantly. Of course, it's easy to make a man. Any man was mesmerized when he looked at her.

"Good evening, it's time for us to present one of our best dancers tonight. I'm sure you are all waiting for it. Am I right? Who wants to see his appearance? He will give you his best performance."

The man who shouted on the stage made Kelsey curious.

"Who is the dancer? The male dancer? Did he say the word 'He'? Is that true?"

"Yes, there is a very famous dancer in this club. He is very mysterious. He is also very handsome and his dance will amaze you," Emily replied.

"What? Is he really a man?" Kelsey couldn't hide her surprise.

"Hm. You have to watch the dance, and you will know that he is so cool," Samantha added.

Kelsey even now heard other women talking about the dancer besides her.

"You know, I'm coming to this place, just to take a look. I couldn't stop myself from looking at it. He is so amazing," one of the women in front of Kelsey said.

"Yes. Even though he is wearing a mask, I still believe he is very handsome. It can be seen from the thin lips and sharp nose. Oh, I think I'm going crazy waiting for him," a young woman said as she was so excited that she couldn't take her eyes off the stage.

Kelsey was very confused, how can a man dance on stage? She thought.

"Who is he really?" she asked.

"We don't know Kels. Nobody knows about him. Not even the owner of this place knows anything about him. He only refers to himself as 'M'. We only know about that," Samantha replied.

Emily drank and left Kelsey alone. Samantha had disappeared and Kelsey had no idea where the girl was.

"M?" Kelsey repeated.

And then she heard the emcee's voice silence everyone there.

"Okay, let's have fun with our best dancer, 'M'. Let's dance together!"

A man wearing black pants and a white shirt stepped onto the stage and was immediately greeted with boisterous applause by the audience.

Music started playing, and the man nimbly started dancing to the music.

Kelsey didn't know what kind of dance it was, but she could only guess that the man was freestyle and seemed to be really enjoying himself.

Kelsey almost fell from where she stood because she was too amazed by the handsome dancer's appearance.

He moved his body, and it made everyone go crazy just by looking at his beautiful moves.

Kelsey stared at him. Unlucky, his face covered in a mask. She couldn't recognize that face clearly. And that made her quite frustrated.

"Wow, Kelsey. Your eyes look so different." Emily had just got there with a new man. He hugged Emily possessively.

Kelsey didn't care and turned away. She found 'M' had finished his performance. The girl sighed disappointedly.

Emily held the guy's hand and Kelsey didn't want to be anywhere near the couple.

She left her friend and went to the toilet. She didn't drink anything because her alcohol tolerance was so bad. So she chose not to embarrass herself.

Arriving at the toilet, she met the dancer who had made her curious. The man walked into the men's restroom.

"What are you looking at?" the man asked when he saw the girl staring at him without blinking.

Mom said, "After the surgery, we'll make it up to you."

My parents raised me for twenty-four years. Then they found out I wasn't their biological daughter.

Their real daughter came home. She'd only been back two years. That's all it took to erase twenty-four.

When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.

My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"

"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."

They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.

I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.

Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.

He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.

Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.

When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.

"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."

When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.

My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.

Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."

But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.

Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.

"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"

George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"

"I'm afraid that's impossible."

Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
