Erin's POV

"So hot..."

The heavy scent of alcohol wrapped around me. Burning heat consumed my entire body.

The man's burning hands moved down from my waist, gripping my hips and lifting me up. My back hit the cold mirror. The shock made my whole body shiver.

He grabbed my wrists and pinned them above my head. I arched my neck back helplessly. The scent of mint rushed over me.

His cool lips crashed against mine with aggressive force. The taste of alcohol mingled between our mouths. Our tongues tangled together, making wet sounds that drove me wild with need.

His other hand wasn't idle either. My dress straps fell away carelessly. The moment my breasts were freed, he squeezed them roughly.

The burning heat mixed with sharp pleasure from his grip. It spread through me like electricity.

He stole my breath away. Just when I thought I might suffocate, he released me.

My hands instinctively gripped the sink edge. I pushed my chest forward, letting him touch me however he wanted. Anything to ease that aching emptiness inside.

When he took my nipple in his mouth and bit gently, waves of pleasure made me moan softly.

My voice seemed to drive him crazy. Like the most honest invitation.

His hands felt electric as they slipped under my skirt, finding my black lace panties. I trembled under his touch.

I could feel his burning gaze moving over my body in the darkness. His eyes looked like they might catch fire.

He pulled off his tie and shirt. Every muscle stood out clearly in the dark. His skin radiated danger and temptation.

He carried me to the bed and pressed down over me. His fingers traced my neck, sending shivers through me.

"Bear with me," his deep voice whispered in my ear.

He pulled my panties away. I felt something hot and hard pressing against me.

Any fear melted away in the flood of desire.

Even though I was already wet, when he pushed inside, the stretching pain made me cry out.

His movements went from gentle to intense. My hands clawed at his strong back, nails digging into his skin. My body rose and fell with his rhythm.

Thunder crashed outside. Rain poured down suddenly.

The loud noise scared me into his arms. My flushed face showed pure panic.

I fumbled to light up the screen. The harsh glow made me squint.

Dad's number flashed on the display. I swiped to answer. His furious voice nearly shattered the speaker.

"Erin! Get home right now!"

The call ended. I realized I was alone in the huge bed.

Fragments of last night's memories flooded back. Yesterday I got my college acceptance letter. Everyone celebrated with me. Gloria handed me champagne with tiny bubbles...

Then I slept with my fiancé Kai!

Last year I told him I wanted to try. He thought I was too young. He wanted to wait until I was ready.

Last night, we finally truly belonged to each other.

I threw on clothes and rushed downstairs. As the car pulled through the familiar estate gates, I wondered how to explain to Dad.

Sleeping with my fiancé wasn't really wrong. But he sounded so angry calling me home. It had to be about staying out all night.

I pushed open the door. The living room atmosphere felt frozen. The silence was terrifying.

Dad Lorenzo sat in the center of the sofa, his face dark as iron.

"Kneel down!" Dad's voice was cold as ice.

Before I could react, two bodyguards stepped forward. They grabbed my shoulders from both sides. My knees hit the floor hard. The pain made me gasp.

"Dad, what are you doing?"

He threw a stack of photos at my face. They scattered across the floor.

The top one showed a hotel room's floor-to-ceiling window reflection. I was disheveled, wrapped around a man, my face flushed and eyes hazy.

The curtains in the background were half-drawn. I couldn't see the man's face clearly, only his broad shoulders and narrow waist.

"You're only eighteen and already fooling around with random men?" Dad's roar made my eardrums hurt. "You've disgraced the entire Perez family!"

"That's right, Erin. You just turned eighteen and you're already messing around with men. If word gets out, where will the family and your father's reputation go?" Stepmother Hilda stepped forward, pointing accusingly at me.

"Dad, Mom, don't blame sister so quickly. Maybe sister had some unavoidable difficulties. Listen to her explanation first." Gloria came between them, trying to calm them down.

She turned to me. "Sister, quickly explain to Mom and Dad what really happened last night. Did you really... with another man? When you did this, did you think about Kai?"

I opened my mouth. Before I could speak, Dad raged again. "Gloria's right! You and Kai have been engaged for so long. How do I explain this to the Thomas family?"

"Dad, that was Kai!" I explained urgently.

"Sister, you can't lie to Dad like this. If you tell the truth, maybe Dad will forgive you..." Gloria pressed her lips together, speaking softly.

"You dare to lie?" Lorenzo stepped quickly in front of me, raising his hand to hit me.

"I'm not lying. It really was Kai!" I turned my head to dodge while shouting.

Lorenzo's hand stopped. Gloria saw this and disappointment flashed in her eyes. She walked slowly toward me in her high heels.

She sighed, looking innocent. "Sister, Kai talked to me on the phone all night! How could you have been with him at a hotel?"

"Impossible!" I struggled to get up, but the bodyguards held me tighter. "Gloria, you're lying!"

"Sister, don't get so excited. You're scaring me. I'm not lying..." She stepped back, showing fear on her face.

"Hold her down! Gloria, keep talking!" Lorenzo ordered the bodyguards to pin me down harder.

Gloria slowly took out her phone and opened the call log. "Dad, look. From ten last night until five this morning, I was on the phone with Kai the whole time. I have call recordings as proof!"

How... how was this possible? Looking at the call records, I was stunned.

Just then, the door opened.

Kai walked in wearing a perfectly tailored suit, still looking gentle and polite as always.

Seeing me kneeling on the ground, surprise flashed in his eyes. After seeing the photos scattered on the floor, he clearly showed disappointment.

"Erin..." He walked over to me. "How could you do something like this?"

I looked up at him like grabbing a lifeline, my eyes burning with tears. "Kai, tell them we were together last night, at the hotel..."

He crouched down, his fingers gently brushing my cheek. But his tone turned cold. "Erin, stop deceiving yourself. The man in the photos isn't me."

A thunderous crash echoed in my mind. Everything went blank.
