Twi Light · Completed · 104.8k Words
Introduction
Logan's commanding voice echoed through the room, sending shivers down Olive's spine.
"Be my bride," he continued coldly, "or stay behind with your family. I'm leaving soon—and when I go, I want you with me. The ball's in your court, Little Peach. Choose wisely."
Olive Anderson's life fell apart in a single day. Betrayed and divorced by her husband while lying on her hospital bed, she watched her world crumble when her mother's condition worsened—and the hospital demanded a fortune. Desperate and cornered, she sought help from her uncle, only to be manipulated into a scandalous trap.
But a single mix-up changed everything. Instead of the investor she was supposed to meet, Olive ended up in the bed of a powerful, enigmatic CEO. That night of chaos marked the beginning of her downfall—and her fate.
Logan Smith, the ruthless tycoon every woman desired yet no woman could touch, discovered Olive was the only one who didn't trigger his rare physical-contact disorder. Bound by curiosity and obsession, he made her an irresistible offer: be his bride in name—and in body—and he would destroy the ex-husband who broke her.
Now, torn between revenge and a dangerous attraction, Olive finds herself entangled in Logan's world of power, secrets, and possessive desire.
But as passion turns into something deeper, she must face a choice far more dangerous than the first: lose herself to him completely, or fight to reclaim her heart.
Chapter 1
"I survived death barely hours ago and now you want to divorce me??"
Olive's words echoed in the ward, her jaw dropped and her hands shook as she held onto the envelope. She stared at her husband in disbelief, tears welling up in her eyes. "How could you do this to me?" she asked, her voice quivering with anger and hurt.
"I'm done with you, Olive," her husband said, his cold voice devoid of emotion. "I've found someone better, someone who's rich and I'm not wasting another moment of my life with you."
Olive's eyes widened in disbelief. "But... but we've been married for three years! You can't just throw away our relationship like it doesn't matter!"
Her husband, Joshua Jones shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me."
His voice dripped with unfamiliar hatred which caught Olive Anderson off guard.
But Olive shook her head in denial, she didn't want to accept this reality.
The sadness made her solemn, she could feel the emotions welling up inside her like a river threatening to overflow its banks. Never in her Twenty-Five years of life had she been this devastated.
Her vision blurred and her throat tightened, as she tried to hold back the tears. A single tear rolled down her cheek, and then another, until they were flowing freely.
"You know you can always tell me what I did wrong so we can sort things out..." her voice turns excruciating, hoping they could reconcile the misunderstanding that threatened to break their marriage.
The beeping sounds from the heart monitor reminded her of her painful encounter. Her black hair spread on the hospital bed, accentuating her pale skin. She thought she'd be able to hug her husband after she woke up a few minutes ago, but here she was...being served divorce papers instead.
Joshua only scoffed at her "If you had died, that would have saved me the stress of explaining things to you!"
His bitter words rolled out of his mouth and each sentence made Olive tear up even more, her face turned red and her nose couldn't help but drip snot.
Earlier, she was involved in a car accident when she was on her way back from the hospital where her sick mother with Leukemia was hospitalized. She was taken to the hospital by a kind citizen for treatment.
"How could you, Josh??" Her voice trailed off at the end. She was in disarray but Joshua did not spare her as he reminded her of her misfortune.
"You want to guilt trip me?? Well, nice try but I'm not moved. For goodness sake Olive, we've been married for three fucking years and where are the proofs??" Joshua boiled in anger as he raised his voice to growl at her
" There are None!!"
The tension between them both was perpetual, Olive's eyes blurred even more as the tears formed in their depths. Being reminded by her husband of her inability to give him a child hurt her the more.
Her heart throbbed in pain, her head was fuzzy as she remained sitting on the bed weakly, and her wrist was connected to the IV drip.
Joshua continued to add more salt to her wounds "And aside from your inability to give birth, what do you have?? Absolutely nothing! You are nothing, Olive, all these while I thought you were a daughter of the Anderson family and that a little bit of properties would go to me..." his words made Olive ogle at him in awe.
Her lips were apart as she stared at him, her eyes held pain, anguish, and a deep-seated sadness. "Joshua..." she weakly called out to him but he snapped at her impatiently.
"Unfortunately for me, You are just a niece in the Anderson family, Olive, what is worse than that?? No wonder you never told me about your dad. You do not know who your father is, your mother is pathetic with leukemia and you are not even from the wealthy Anderson family but you just borrowed the name because your mom is a daughter of the family!" He recounted her life history to her, each word reminding her of the misery surrounding her birth.
Too stunned, too sad to even cry, Olive is thrust into a deep pool of rejection and confusion.
She mustered up a little bit of her courage to ask but her voice betrayed her as she stammered.
"Is-is that why you agreed to marry me?? Because of the Anderson family wealthy?"
Joshua gripped his hair in disbelief, he paced around for a bit before he pointed at the still-astonished Olive on the bed.
"Back then, I could have done my research well enough, I regret getting married to you and it hurts that I finally got to find out about your true relationship with the Anderson family but not to talk much, Sign those damn papers!" He nodded as if to finalize his words. The anger in him made him snap at her again "And you will do that now!"
Olive choked on her tears this time around. How happy she was three years ago when she got married to the man she loved.
Even when others mocked her for her inability to bear Joshua a child, he never told it to her face. What went wrong? It pained her to know that he had only got married to her because he thought she was a daughter of the Anderson family. All for wealth.
Now she was forced to know that He never loved her. He had only aimed for properties and now that he found out she was only related to the Anderson family because of her mom, he is disappointed.
Olive opened her lips to say something more but the cracking of the door resounded in the room and that caught their attention.
Olive was surprised when she saw her cousin, It was a bit awkward for her that Adeline, her cousin came in at that time and she was having a heated conversation with her husband. But Adeline's next question took her by surprise.
"Babe, I have been waiting outside for a long time, have she not signed the papers yet?" Adeline asked as she walked right into the room.
Olive who thought she was confused by Joshua's sudden choice to divorce her, can tell she was even more confused.
Her eyes darted between Adeline and Joshua in great surprise. She couldn't process all that unfolded in her eyes.
Olive was hit by the cruel realization when Joshua hugged Adeline before he kissed her forehead in assurance "I'm sorry for making you wait, sweetheart, you know your cousin is a bitch and she won't stop crying"
Adeline snuggled into his embrace and Olive broke down.
"Adeline..." Olive weakly called out when she finally found her voice, her words came out heavy as she looked at her husband and also called out to him "Josh...." Her voice broke even more "How could-how could you both betray me??"
Adeline only rolled her eyes in mockery "Betray you, you say? Come on, I only want to clear his name and give him what you can't give him"
Olive was stunned by her response, Adeline was not even remorseful for taking her husband.
The betrayal stabbed Olive's heart and she found it hard to breathe, her vision shook but she quickly covered her mouth with her left palm as she burst into tears.
Joshua didn't care, instead, he dropped the final bomb on her head "Sign the papers real quick and prepare yourself to attend I and Adeline's baby's arrival"
The last sentence immediately lit a bulb in her head and it felt as if the world had stopped around her…

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

The mafia princess return
Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
