Introduction
You're đ to find out the night was a game. He's dared to take your v card.
Yrs later, you saw him, the rising hockey star, on a national tv show. When heâs asked why he's always single,
Him: I'm waiting for my girl to accept my apology.
Then he looked straight at the camera. You heard your name
"Evie, I'm sorry. "
In less than an hour, #foundevie is the hottest hashtag on social media...
Chapter 1
Finally, I made it. After four years of being the perfect student, I finally made it across that stage. The graduation party rages all around me. People are dancing, and singing, and cheering as they all let loose. Not that any of them took notice of me. I tend to stay out of the spotlight.
I had been so excited to receive this invitation. Timothy Hayes himself had personally invited me to this party. Itâs my first house party ever. And word had it that Timothyâs house parties were notorious for being crazy and fun. Everyone at school was fighting over getting an invitation. The boys flipped coins. Girls sharpened their manicured nails, getting ready to claw their way to Timothyâs side.
It made sense. He was the hottest guy in school.
âHey, Evie, I just need one last signature for my yearbook,â I slowly lift my chin to meet the hazel eyes of the only boy I would have risked it all for. Timothy Hayes. âYouâre my final signature.â
âI donât have a pen on me,â I say awkwardly.
He shrugs. âI have one in my room. Come on,â he urges, taking my hand and pulling me up the stairs to his room.
Now, everything has changed. There, laying beside me, was Timothy.
My immediate instinct was to scream. But I bite my tongue and cover my face in the pillows.
When I finally gathered my control, I sit up looking around the room. My clothes had been scattered wildly across the floor. I look down at myself. I had slept in his jersey. The number 9 was boldly printed on the front with a picture of our school mascot, the bulldog.
But the night was over and I had to go home. Slipping out of the room, with my clothes in hand, I make a break for the front door and back to my house.
**
A few days passed and that night was all I had been thinking about. Timothy had chosen me. It felt so good to be seen by him. My eyes havenât left that jersey. I should give that back. It probably means a lot to him.
So I headed downstairs and started my short walk around the neighborhood. I wondered how he would react to me showing up at his door. I hoped he would be happy to see me, considering how he came to me.
As I approached his house, I noticed a few cars parked in his driveway. Those cars belonged to his friends. Loud laughter came from the back of the house. I couldnât help but want to listen in to their conversation. It was too tempting. Tip-toeing around the side, I got close to the white-painted gate.
âI canât believe you did that,â one says laughing. âYou have guts, my man.â
âNah,â Timothy sighed heavily. âShe definitely had some potential.â
âStill, Evie Sinclair? Isnât she like a shut-in? Everyone knew that she didn't care about any boys, except for the damn books.â
âShut up,â Timothy laughed. âIt wasnât that bad.â
One of them blew a raspberry. âWhatever you say. You followed through on the deal, so Iâll let you take the bike.â
There was a deal. My chest suddenly felt constricted.
âHereâs to getting all the girls âsignaturesâ,â one of his friends laughs.
âHey,â Timothy argues. âIt worked didnât it. I slept with her.â
Oh, god. I felt sick.
I stumble back to the front yard, tears blurring every inch of my vision. I couldnât be seen here. I have to leave before I humiliate myself any further. I throw his jersey on the front steps of his porch and make an attempt to run, but my legs were barely working. It feels like my body had been stripped of any structure it had. I was nothing but a puddle on the ground waiting for the next person to step on me.
âEvie?â
I stop dead in my tracks, gathering every bit of strength I had left. âWhat is it?â
âI didnât think youâd drop byââ
âI was just returning your jersey,â I say calmly, turning around to face him finally.
âYouâre welcome to borrow it any time,â he smirks playfully.
I had to force myself to look away. I hated him. He had used me.
âWhat happened the other night canât happen again,â I say firmly. âI had fun, butââ
âBut?â
His question hung in the air between us.
âBut I have to focus on my goals,â I spoke quietly. âAnd you have your professional career to think about. I think itâs best that we leave it as a one time thing. We both got what we wanted from each other. Right?â
He frowns at her. âWhat do you mean?â
My jaw tightens, teeth grinding against each other. âBye, Timothy,â I whisper shakily, and I walked away.
Every step was torture. Every breath was shallow and fast. I wish the ground would just swallow me whole right about now.
The way home felt like it took years. It made it worse that I saw my stepbrotherâs car sitting in the driveway. I swallow hard and head inside.
âYou look terrible,â he snorts, immediately as I enter the living room. âYour boyfriend dumped you right?â
I shook my head. âHe wasnât my boyfriend,â I whisper.
Bruce chokes on his laughter. âYouâre telling me that you slept with some random and took his jersey?â
âLeave it, Bruce,â I snap angrily, bitter tears starting to fill my eyes.
âAw,â he pouts. âHe broke your heart. You gave it up didnât you.â
âBruce,â I beg. âStopââ
âGod, youâre so stupid,â he laughs. âAll these academic awards and youâre still too dumb to recognize when a dude is using you.â
I didnât want to hear him demean me further. I sprint up the stairs as fast as I could, practically tripping on the way up. But he just keeps flinging insults at me.
He was right. It was stupid of me to believe a word that boy had said. He was notorious for his acquisitions. His friends were too. And I had just gotten so caught up in the fantasy that someone would actually like me, that I refused to see the signs.
Locking the door, I finally allow myself to break. I couldnât stop the tears from falling down my face as the heartbreak really sets itself in.
Six Years Later
Work was busy again. It was a Wednesday night at the hottest restaurant in the city. Waiters and waitresses whizzed around the tables with their trays of drinks and food.
I was exhausted after a long day of trying to get clients for my internship, but I had to pick this shift up to get the last of my month's rent.
Behind the long elegant bar, a couple tvs were tuned into some sports events. I didnât pay any attention to who was playing or what sport it was, until a man asked for the channel to be changed.
âPut on the Thunderbolt game. I hear we have a chance at the Stanley cup,âhe says proudly.
Out of sheer curiosity, I looked up at the screen as it changed. Right then, the camera changed and a face I swore Iâd never lay eyes upon again popped on the screen.
Of course, it was the infamous Timothy Hayes. The hot rising star that everyone is watching right now. Except me.
Anger burned through me again. I still hated myself for being so naive about him.
Get a grip, Evie.
I had bigger things to worry about. Like saving my money and surviving this job and my internship at the law firm.
Not Him.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
The mafia princess return
I Slapped My FiancĂ©âThen Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancĂ© nowâbillionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didnât mind. Iâd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. Thatâs when it hit meâhe didnât love me. He didnât even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasnât even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disasterâmy parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. Iâd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision Iâd ever made.
Because my one-night stand isnât just some random guy. Heâs richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, heâs not letting me go.
Invisible To Her Bully
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been gloryâblood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend meâhe sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrenderâdive into the waves and never surfaceâbut the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precisionâbecoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding strangerâand my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me payâand take back everything that was stolen from me.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Falling for my boyfriend's Navy brother
"What is wrong with me?
Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like Iâm wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
Itâs just newness, I tell myself firmly.
Heâs my boyfirendâs brother.
This is Tylerâs family.
Iâm not going to let one cold stare undo that.

I'm falling for my boyfriend's brother.
**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And stillâ
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, wonât leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldnât care.
I donât care.
Itâs not my problem if Tylerâs an idiot.
Itâs not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
Iâm not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
Sheâs not my problem.
And Iâll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Mr. Ryan
He came closer with a dark and hungry expression,
so close,
his hands reached for my face, and he pressed his body against mine.
His mouth took mine eagerly, a little rudely.
His tongue left me breathless.
âIf you don't go with me, I'll fuck you right here.â He whispered.
