More so, her husband is starting to pay attention to her, and before she knows it, Noctharys changes from a placed she's trapped in to her home.
The King of all Vampires and His Bride is a fantasy, slice of life book full of friendship, intrigue and a slow budding love between a man who has only known darkness for centuries, and the woman who brings light into his heart.
Chapter 1
“Kneel, for you stand before your king’s throne,” the squire’s voice is loud in my ear as he pushes me to the ground, and I turn to give him a dirty look to mask the pain of my knees hitting the ground hard.
“Geez, maybe I’ll hear you better if you scream it in my ear,” I retort, and he backhands me. How gentlemanly. The squire standing behind me is a man of brief height, which is to say he is very short, and to make matters worse, he’s also fat, which results in him looking like a very plump pumpkin.
I have the sense to keep this observation to myself, for his strike did hurt, and I’m not trying to get myself bloodied.
The throne is still empty, so I pay no attention to it, and instead turn to look at the six other girls that are on their knees with me.
What are we doing here, you may ask? Excellent question, for I will also appreciate an answer to that.
*****
I awoke this morning with the thought of honey-sweetened milk and freshly baked bread from my mother’s bakery. The smell of the baking had woken me from my sleep, and I’d hurriedly donned my gown to rush down the stairs. Our house was an apartment above the bakery.
My mother’s smile had welcomed me, and giving her a brief hug, I sidestepped her to get to steaming cup of the honey-sweetened milk she had already poured out for me. I grabbed the cup and took a tentative sip.
It burned my tongue, but it was so worth it.
I grabbed a bun from the ones that were cooling on the rack and stuffed the whole thing in my mouth.
“Annika! Can you stop eating like a pig? I raised you as a young lady,”
“Sorry mom. It's your fault for cooking such good food.”
My mother laughed and shook her head at me. Heavy footsteps pounded on the stairs, and I turned just in time to see my brother lumber down it with sleep still in his eyes.
Aaron was six feet three inches tall, and he was a large man. Four years older than me at his Twenty-Eight, he took his role as the firstborn quite seriously, which made my life easier. Aaron had thick, curly hair like our mother’s, and currently, they were saluting the skies on his head.
His grey eyes looked at me and our mom like he wasn’t seeing us, which couldn’t even be called an exaggeration with him because he was like the walking dead when je just woke in the morning and would remain like that till he got some food inside him.
Which is why I handed a bun to him and placed a cup of milk in his waiting hands. My mom and I watched in amusement as he came to life the moment he ate something.
After that, breakfast was a quiet affair, which was only broken when we finished eating.
“Aaron, your father said to join him in the stable when you’re done with breakfast,” my mother said, and my brother rose up from the table to go outside without any questions.
Apart from running the best bakery in town, we also owned a stable where people could loan horses for a fee. Of course, there was always the risk of someone stealing the horses away, which is why all of them were enchanted with spells.
No thief wanted anything to do with a horse who stopped moving once it got to the border. It made for a bad thieving business.
It was as I was cleaning up the table where we ate breakfast that a bell sounded, and my mom and I turned to look at one another without a word.
A bell ringing in the square by this time of the morning hardly meant anything good. I still remember the last time it had rang, which was about a month ago. The squire had matched into town on orders of the renowned and fear King of all Vampires that all household were to give an offering worthy of the King or risk death.
My family had surrendered our most priced horse; a thoroughbred with a coat of molten gold named Alia. Alia had been my favorite horse; we had bonded as kids, and we’d grown up together. I’d ridden her every single excuse I had, and we had explored the plain of Velmoor together several times.
The day she was taken away was the first time the oppression of the Vampires got to my doorstep. Living in Velmoor was an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything else.
Velmoor is a prosperous market-driven town. My people were the traders everyone from Caldenmere travelled to for all their needs because we had the best of everything: jewels, animals, clothing, food, weapons; everything you could use money to buy could be bought in Velmoor. And even then, there were traders who would trade by barter.
The only flaw our town had was that it bordered the ever-dark vampire land of Noctharys. If you stood on the top of the bell tower that was erected in the middle of town square, you could see a border of darkness stretch before you.
Nothing inside it was visible from the outside, and all the human who stepped inside had never come back to tell the tale of what went on inside Noctharys.
Noctharys was like the proverbial noose that hung around the neck of Caldenmere. As long as we gave the tributes and minded our business, the vampires left us alone, and we only had to deal with the squires.
My mother and I walked out of the bakery to find that the square was almost filled with people who gathered around the fountain that was in the center of the square. All the faces were familiar in one way or the other; they were friends, people who visited the bakery or rented horses from our stables.
We all gathered with somber faces because we knew that any announcement that required the bell to be rung was nothing good.
In a few minutes, the square was full and the squire decided there were enough people for him to make his announcement. He was a pale, short man and he was also fat, so it looked like there was no neck between his head and shoulders. His face was set in a perpetual frown, but the only thing I could think about was that if he was so fat, living with the Vampires must not be so terrible.
He pulled out a scroll and began to read. “As Decreed by the King of all Vampires, the town of Velmoor must present one adult woman to be taken before the king. She must be fit, without illness and of a pleasant facial demeanor. You may select a candidate, and someone may volunteer, but your decision must be made in five minutes.”
The moment he finished speaking, everyone’s eyes fell upon Emilia. Emilia was undoubtedly the fairest maiden in Valmoor and beyond. There was just one problem with us selecting her as tribute to the Vampire king; she was engaged to the love of her life, my brother, Aaron.
Maybe I was a hopeless romantic, or perhaps I had no sense of preservation, because I opened my big mouth and said the words that would ruin my life.
“I volunteer!”

The Unwritten Princess
My name is Mia, and everything I touch is dying.
The flowers beneath my mother's window turned black overnight. The herbs I gathered at dawn rotted in my hands. When the court wizard finally told me the truth—that someone cursed me, that my presence would kill everyone I love—I realized the prophecy everyone believed was never meant to save the kingdom. It was meant to destroy me.
So I ran. Not to fulfill some destiny, but to survive it.
Now I'm traveling with a hunter who lost his companions to the same curse I carry, chasing fragments of a prophecy the Fae sing differently. An elf took a baby from the palace the night I was born. And somewhere between the lies I've been told and the truth I'm hunting, I'm starting to suspect: What if I'm not the princess from the prophecy at all?
After the Divorce She Became Untouchable
Her husband, Abel Donovan, a ruthless and powerful figure, gave her no chance to defend herself, readily believing his stepsister's lies.
Anna was pregnant with his child and was cruelly driven away.

Abel never imagined she would return, especially with his child.
Ruined : You will always be mine.
“Fuckkk”, I couldn’t help but scream.
“You need to learn to be obedient” he said as he kept thrusting into me. When I felt his hands on my clit my body shook.
“Asher please, it’s too much”.
“No. if I really wanted to punish you, I would give you all of me”, he said against my ears and my entire body froze. Suddenly he moved and I was standing again. This man was insane.
I felt him behind me. “Ten Lashes for your disobedience”, he said
“Asher please”,
“No”. His voice was cold and void of any emotion.
Asher was what I wanted , what I truly craved until it was too late. An orphan should never fall in love with someone out of their reach. I thought loving him was the right thing to do until he revealed his true identity and Ruined me. I was ruined for everyone one else . I could still feel his touch, it was as if it was etched into my skin. I tired to avoid him but fate wouldn't let it happen.
The Sterling's were the most powerful in Havenwood and Dorian Sterling was off limits.
As an orphan finding out you still have people looking for you is hard to take but when it turns out to be people of wealth and standing I took the other road and ran, but running led me right back to the place I was avoiding and the person I was avoiding.
Asher and Dorling Sterling one and the same. When his first love shows up and along with everyone that has set out to ruin me, I prayed that he could protect me.
The Alpha Who Hated Me
"Why isn't it working?" he demands.
"Because it's real," I whisper. "Whether you want it or not."
"Then I'll make it clear another way," he says.
He turns to address the entire cafeteria. His voice carries to every corner of the room.
"Let me be perfectly clear," he announces. "She's not my mate. She's not my anything. She's just a sad little girl who needs to learn her place."
The silence that follows is deafening. Hundreds of students stare at me with pity. With disgust. With relief that they're not in my position.
I sit there shaking. My wolf curls up in a corner of my mind and whimpers.
But he's not our mate anymore. He made that clear.
He's nothing to me.
She came to survive. He was born to rule. Fate made them mates. And that’s where the nightmare began.

A omega by blood and an outcast by choice, she’s learned to keep her head down and her scars hidden. But when her dying uncle asks her to enroll at Blackclaw Academy, a school built on bloodlines, brutality, and unforgiving rules..... she agrees. For him, not for herself.
She expected whispers. Glares. Even cruelty.
What she didn’t expect was Ronan Nightbane.
Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.
But Kaelani is not what they thought.
Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.

His icy gaze flicks to my lips.

Xuaru Ruel is war-forged, ice-cold, bound to a king who owns him.
He was born to kill my kind. Instead, he keeps me close.
Calls it discipline. Lies.

He fights the pull, yet always comes back.
If he learns my secret…
He’ll choose: hand me to his king…
Or burn the world to claim me as his.

Three claims.
One cursed destiny.
They called her wolfless. They thought she was weak. But she is done hiding, and this time, she's rewriting the rules.
Bound by the Dragon Mafia
The head chef looked like he was silently praying for death.
I rushed forward. “Amara. Stop traumatizing these poor people.”
She spun around, delighted. “Sera! Good, you’re here. Taste this. It’s missing despair.”
The chef’s face morphed into existential crisis.
I grabbed her arm. “Put the spatula down.”
“But—”
“Down.”
With exaggerated offense, she dropped the spatula and muttered, “Fine. But if no one here has artistic vision, that’s not my fault.”
She went undercover to expose a mafia empire.
He offered her thirty nights to save her life.
When investigative journalist Seraphine Vale steps into the glittering underworld ruled by billionaire crime lord Dante Vescari, she thinks she’s chasing a story about missing women and corruption.
Instead, she uncovers a secret older than blood—an empire built on fire, sin, and dragons.
Bound to Dante by a forbidden pact, Seraphine finds herself caught between fear and desire, truth and temptation.
Each night pulls her deeper into his world of power, passion, and danger…
and closer to the monster hiding beneath his perfect skin.
Thirty nights. One bond.
And a love that might just burn the world to ash.
BROKEN TRUST
Neither of them knew she was carrying his child.
Emily’s affair didn’t just end her marriage—it erased the life she thought was guaranteed. Ryan left without looking back, carrying his anger like armor and leaving Emily alone with regret she would never outrun. Three years later, fate drags them back into each other’s world, along with a little girl who has Ryan’s eyes and a truth that shatters everything he thought he knew.
Old wounds reopen, grief masquerades as rage, and love refuses to stay buried. As parenthood binds them together and the past demands accountability, Emily and Ryan must face the question neither of them is ready to answer: is broken trust the end of their story… or the beginning of a love forged through loss, forgiveness, and brutal honesty?
How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

"What is wrong with me?
Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?
It’s just newness, I tell myself firmly.
He’s my boyfirend’s brother.
This is Tyler’s family.
I’m not going to let one cold stare undo that.

Still.

Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
