Upon discovery of her identity, her father and sister sold her for an auction to lecherous werewolves after the death of her boyfriend, Alec.
Her new master, Reagan Novikov is an elusive, sly and manipulative lycan who harbors a dangerous obsession for vengeance against his enemies, the vampires. When his eyes set on Marian, he becomes her new master with a purpose in his mind.
Scared by her new circumstances, Marian finds herself in a new land with no hope of the future, wrapped around a new master. She still finds herself drawn to the dangerous darkness lurking around Reagan, a darkness which is about to plunge her into the depths of hell.
What will happen when she finds out his true intentions? Can she redeem him? Or will she also drown in his darkness?
Chapter 1
"Somebody help…..!!!!"
The prince of Waylen Kingdom was riding on a horse in the middle of the jungle with his four guards behind on separate horses when the prince halted him abruptly.
"Why did you stop, my Lord?" One of the guards asked the prince, who was dressed in a royal regalia.
"Where is that noise coming from?" The sensitive prince, who heard a faint cry of help, asked his men as they all tried to perceive if they could grasp the voice of anyone.
"This is a jungle sir and I doubt anyone will be here. Please let's leave, it's not safe for you to be here my Lord." The first man who spoke, said again. His name was Amali.
"I'm going back." The prince replied in a serious tone as he jerked his horse to turn over but Amali got down from his horse and held the mouth of the prince's horse.
"I can't let that happen, my Lord. My job is to protect you and that I must do. Please we can't go back, my Lord." Prince Amali pleaded with the king to continue his journey and not go back home.
"I didn't ask for your companion. Tell my father I'll be back before sunset." The prince replied and turned back to leave.
"I'll go after him, you two ride into the city and deliver the message to the king."
After a few minutes' ride, the prince and his personal bodyguard arrived at where the voice seemed to be louder and clearer but all of a sudden, there came upon them a deafening sound.
"Are you sure you heard a cry, my Lord?" Amali asked him.
"Search everywhere, I'm certain I heard a voice." He repeated.
"….!" Marian groans in pain as a whip lands on her back, leaving stripes of blood as the whip cuts through her skin. Her hands and feet are strongly tied to s large metal lock as she struggled to be free but it is almost impossible to her blue eyes are covered by a dark cloth.
"Please let me go!" She demands pleadingly but someone slaps her across the face. The sound of the slap echoes throughout the dark room where she is being tortured. Her captor hit her with such force that she can feel drops of blood flowing down her cheek.
"This one is such a beauty and will make us a lot of money. She will be sold as a sex you to the richest lucan in town, don't injure her delicate skin." The leader of the cell captors, Damien commented.
Marian curses the captor. Damien Vissarion is a vicious man who made Marian's life miserable. He is placed in charge of Marian by her father, Lugan, who exchanged his daughter for a huge amount of wealth. Cruel and sadistic, Marian is his favorite toy to torment.
The night she was taken away as a captive, she was drugged with poppy and sold off to these men who are going to put her up for a slave auction.
She wondered how she didn't realize so fast how she got there.
""She's got bright blue eyes and golden hair color too!" She heard one of the men exclaim. "And that body… ugh! I want to have a taste of her myself."
Marian is helpless but not hopeless. She looks down at the pendant hanging on her neck as tears fall from her eyes. That was the only memory she had of her boyfriend, Alex.
Tears fall down her cheeks which caused more pain than the torture she is going through right now as flashes from the past tormented her.
"Why did you leave me so soon Alec? You promised to be my mate… please don't leave me…" She cried so much when she heard the large metal door opening.
"Let's prepare for the auction, Greg." Damien said to his partner.
"I heard there will be a VIP among the buyers today." Greg replied.
"Really? And who could that be?" Damien asked Greg as he has already picked up interest in the discussion.
"He is the duke of Slorian." Greg replied with confidence.
"Duke of Slorian?" Marian thought to herself. She has heard how evil and heartless he could be. He killed anyone without any hesitation at the slightest provocation. She just hoped deep in her heart that she is not going to end up with him. Beads of sweat begin to accumulate on her forehead.
"Hey beautiful, don't sweat it. You will be the luckiest of all to bring us more wealth if the duke finds you amazing. I need you to perform great in bed so why don't we see how good you can be? Huh?" Damien asks Marian as he lustfully stared at her full fleshed curves while smacking on his lower lip.
"Bastards." Marian spat.
"Gregory, unchain her and bring her to my room. Make sure she is well fed and cleaned up." Lord Damien, who is also one of the recognized lecherous werewolves. He is known for taking beautiful women into his bed which he claimed to be running a virginity test on them.
The chains were unlocked and Marian was set free. For some seconds, she felt free and relieved of the pain and heaviness the chains caused her but then, was she really free or just jumping out of the frying pan to fire?
"Tell your master I am a virgin and won't sleep with him!" Marian spoke confidently as she spat into the guard's face.
"You'd stupid girl!" The guard landed a heavy slap on her cheek as his finger imprint clearly showed.
"When my master is done with you, I'll make sure you can't stand again!" The guard threatened her with his blooded eyes.
"You are nothing but a thirsty demon!" Marian fired back as she was being dragged by the guard out of her cell. He took her to the shower room and pushed her inside.
"Wash your stinky self, rabbit! And change your rags, you stink!" He said to her as he threw some change of gowns to her.
When Marian was done changing, she was taken to the room where Lord Damien was waiting for her.
