The Prey of Love

Autumn is always so charming. Golden-colored leaves are sprinkled all over the city.

At a state university in Dixon, which is full of trees, the prettiest being those ginkgo trees.

Golden yellow ginkgo leaves float down with the bell at the end of class.

Overlooking this university is like the blank golden title page of a book waiting to be written about youth and love.

The bell rang for the end of afternoon classes, and students poured out of the building and into the cafeteria, shouting and laughing.

Catherine, a pretty young girl, left the school building and ran straight for the supermarket; her period had come early, and she had to get tampons before Aunt Flo arrived.

As Catherine's best friends and roommates, Elsa and Sophie accompanied Catherine as she ran to the supermarket. They would stop by and pick up some chips, popcorn, and a Coke. Their favorite reality show was on tonight.

Elsa chose a laundry detergent packet with the most stain-removing power in the household goods section. She works part-time at a café to pay for her expensive tuition, and her school scholarship is short.

However, yesterday, a customer accidentally spilled coffee while passing by, and the coffee stained her overalls. She had to choose a laundry detergent with high stain-removal power to clean her overall.

"Tonight's reality show is exciting. I saw the show preview, and Vina kissed the host. Oh my god!" Sophie immediately paid for the chips and then unwrapped a bag, munching on them as she handed them to Elsa.

"Too bad I won't be able to see it. Hopefully, I can get those darned overalls washed and dried before work." Elsa was a little upset.

"You have to work tonight? Don't be too hard on yourself, dear." Sophie soothed, then saw that Catherine hadn't chosen a tampon yet and grumbled, "Our dear Catherine's dyslexia is back. It's only a tampon. It's not like she's being asked to do multiple-choice questions for a final exam!"

"Not only do I have to work tonight, I have to work tomorrow." Elsa was also getting a little hungry, and she took two slices out of the bag of chips in front of her and put them in her mouth. She closed her mouth and bit down gently, trying to minimize the sound of clicking and chewing.

"What? Did she go on a date with her boyfriend? She's fucking her boyfriend while you're serving coffee to a customer? Too bad!" Sophie said with an exaggerated, mocking expression.

"What? What are you talking about!" Elsa was visibly surprised that Sophie had used the word fuck. "Lady, please watch your language. At least not out loud here."

"Sorry." Sophie hurriedly ate a chip and changed the subject, "Be safe tonight after work, you know."

"Don't worry, even though it closes at 22:00, the café is safer because it's downtown."

"The night shift pays pretty well. If I weren't afraid of delaying my studies, I would have done the work with you."

"Are you afraid of delaying your studies? You're just afraid of delaying watching reality TV, aren't you? And you don't need a part-time job to make money." Elsa lightly bumped Sophie with her shoulder.

"I'm not going to sell my freedom for money, hahaha." Sophie unscrewed her Coke and took a sip.

Sophie often eats unhealthful foods, but strangely enough, she doesn't gain any weight, and her body looks slim.

Catherine finally picked out her favorite tampon, "What are you guys talking about?"

"We're talking, and if you don't pick soon, your Aunt Flo is going to kick your sexy ass!" Sophie's words were always picked up quickly and with humor.

After Catherine used the tampon, the three pretty girls finally headed for the restaurant.

Someone was always eating quickly, so the restaurant was relatively quiet at this point, and there were many empty seats.

Of the three girls, Sophie and Catherine always had endless things to say; Elsa was the least talkative.

They had just taken their seats with their dinner when Sophie said impatiently, "Have you heard? Nicholas, Hugh, and Thomas are back from the capital, and their team won the Robotics Competition a gold medal. I heard that a few companies are ready to invest in them."

"What? Did they get the title? Nicholas Sanders, Hugh Stiles, and Thomas Bloom, oh my goodness. They're handsome and talented. How happy they'd be to marry them." Catherine was starting to get so horny that she had forgotten about her menstrual cramps.

"Come on, you need to fight the whole school of girls if you're going to marry." Sophie took a hard bite of her spaghetti.
