The Rise Of The Female Alpha
Author Hassy · Completed · 142.6k Words
Introduction
Hams, my betrothed, vowed loyalty until I discovered his plan to shatter my heritage and chain me to his power. So I turned his betrayal into my weapon. I married his twin brother, Alpha Hans.
Our union is a lie built on blood and vengeance.
He plays the perfect husband.
I play the perfect Luna.
But in truth, I am the Alpha.
When I claimed the title, the ancient magic within me awoke, power gifted by the Moon Goddess herself. And with it came chaos.
After killing the man who killed my parents, I unearthed a hidden sect thought destroyed by the gods centuries ago. They’ve returned from the ashes, hungering for the downfall of every Alpha bloodline… starting with mine.
Now my pack has turned against me, my enemies circle like wolves, and the magic that once made me divine is slowly devouring me.
I must decide; protect the pack that betrayed me… or let my power consume everything in its path.
Chapter 1
~AMELIA’S POV~
We are just two days away from our wedding, a knot that will make my dreams come true after being tied.
Hams and I have been in love since forever, and it all started two years ago when my Dad, Alpha Brook of Lunkskye was annihilated by the enemy pack.
To avenge my Father’s brutal death, I decided to ascend to the Alpha position, but the elders stepped forward, blocking me from becoming the Alpha.
Their reason was; I am a female child, and I can only rule the pack as a Luna if the Alpha I got married to agrees to stay at my Pack.
That was when the Alpha Hams of Arkonix Pack came into my life.
I'd wanted us to get married as soon as possible, but he thought that was too fast.
So for two years, we've been the most loving couple both Packs have ever seen.
Earlier on while I was checking out my wedding gown a few shops away, I'd decided to pay Hams a surprise visit in his office.
And as I stood in front of the magnificent company in the whole of Arkonix Pack, my heart beat in anticipation to see the love of my life.
Hams has been supportive of my Pack even though we aren't married yet, and because of his devotion and assistance, the elders have welcomed him with broad smiles, hoping he would continue after the Pack goes to his hand.
“Miss Amelia?”
The secretary, a petite girl with a smiley face beamed in delight when I stopped by her desk.
“In two days, you will become our Luna, Miss Amelia.”
I chuckled softly, adjusting the designer bag on my shoulder.
Not only me, but everyone from both Packs has been looking forward to the day Hams and I will be married for good.
“Alpha Hams is in his office, right this way, Ma’am.”
As I followed her to his office, my heart fluttered. I couldn't wait to see Ham’s reaction, he will be excited to see me.
But as we approached the door, I heard his voice, intense and dreadful.
“And once we are married, the Pack will come into my hands and she will be nothing but a puppet whom I'll turn around the way I want.”
My heart skipped a beat and as the secretary wanted to turn the handle, I raised my hand, signaling her to stop.
For a moment, I stood there, trying to process what Hams had just said.
He will turn me into a puppet?
So the promise he made to me that he would hand over the Pack after our marriage was all a lie?
As I turned to leave, the words echoed in my mind like a vicious joke. I felt like I'd been punched in the gut.
Maybe I misunderstood him, perhaps he wasn't referring to me.
Who am I kidding?
Who else is he going to marry in two days if not me?
My heart has never been shattered like that moment.
I never thought a day would come that Hams would turn against me, but here it is.
I walked away, my heels clicking against the tiles. I felt numb, my mind spinning with questions and outrage.
After all the love, this is what I get?
Well, I'm glad I found it out before the wedding.
“What happened today, do not breathe it to anyone,”
I warned the secretary, blinking my eyes continuously to stop the tears that had gathered in my eyes from dropping.
She bobbed her head, her face painted in dismay.
As I walked out of the company building, my mind raced with the thought of revenge and betrayal. I reflected on how to cancel that wedding because Hams and I must never get married or else, I will be the one to regret it for the rest of my life.
Me, a mere vessel in my father’s pack? Hams must be out of his mind.
The moment I got inside my car, an idea crept into my head.
It was just the perfect retaliation that would make Hams regret what he wanted to do.
My hand slid into my handbag and I pulled out my phone and dialed a number.
“Can we meet right now? I've got an offer that will change your life for good.”
I said over the phone, my voice firm.
“Good, I'll send an address.”
My lips curved into a mischievous grin as I drove out of the company.
My eyes kept darting to the watch on my wrist as I waited for the person I had called to arrive.
And after a few minutes of waiting, a tall, handsome man with piercing blue eyes walked in. He was Hams’ twin brother, Hans.
Unlike Hams, Hans was a calm, kind, and very gentle person who never meddled in others’ affairs.
“Why the urgent call, Alpha?”
He asked, his voice smooth and deep.
Alpha was the name Hans always referred to me because I was obsessed with becoming an Alpha.
“Shouldn't you be preparing for your wedding with my brother?”
He sat down on the chair facing me, his shoulders standing out straight like a statue.
Hans is just the perfect man I should have gone for instead of Hams. Well, love is blind, but I have been cured.
“Your brother betrayed me,”
He raised his brow in curiosity, leaned forward, and locked his fingers.
“Are you kidding me?”
He scoffed, snapping his fingers on my face.
“No, I am not,”
I took a deep breath, leaned towards the desk, and locked my fingers too.
“I have a proposal for you, Hans.”
Hans raised an eyebrow, fascinated.
“Go on, I'm listening.”
“I’ll give you riches,”
I said, my voice confident.
“Riches that will make you rise above your twin brother and turn you into the richest Alpha in your pack.”
Hans’ eyes constricted, his mind full of questions.
“What do I have to do?” he asked, his voice firm.
I smiled, a glint of mischief in my eyes.
“Marry me, Hans.”

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
