Chapter 1
“I can’t believe my daughter is lead. I am so proud of you” my mama gushed while I slapped my hand against my forehead.
“Mama, I don’t want to be the lead” I grumbled.
“Why?” she asked me we were making our way to ladies restroom, in the fifth floor, of the new mall. I was here along with my mama where I have to dance lead in the flash mob and I don’t like it. I swear Stella; the teacher of Modern Art dance class hates me. Well news flash, I don’t like her either and after this, I will never, ever, like that mean and selfish woman.
All I asked her was to make little bear stand next to me because I am used to little bear dancing as my partner since childhood. She was always my dance partner. She was the boy and I was the girl. I politely requested Stella and she rudely refused. How mean!
I got furious and while I was returning home, I spotted her car in the parking lot. There was so much anger in me and I had this huge urge to kick her. That is why when I spotted her car, I kicked the fat wheels of that stupid second… no, fifth hand car. To my bad luck, Stella was right behind me and she saw me kicking her stupid fifth hand car.
I tried covering my face to hide from her but it was of no use because she already saw me. Cristina, My friend, was laughing like a hyena when Stella declared right there that I be the lead. I hate being lead. It’s because when the lead starts dancing, it gathers everyone’s attention and they for a few second think, why this crazy female is dancing all of a sudden. I don’t want people to think I am crazy, even though I am a little bit crazy.
Ok! Admitting that just proved how crazy I really am.
“Because she did it to punish me” I replied pouting.
“Punish you? Why?” mama asked me. Oh no! I didn’t tell mama that I had kicked Stella’s car and I never will because she might ask me to apologize to that mean and selfish woman.
Instead of replying, I smiled and scratched my head to think of some good excuse. I couldn’t even lie and I hated that. Nobody believes me when I lie.
“I... I… I got to go. Since I am the lead, I have to be there first” I said nervously. “Bye mama” I said and ran away after kissing her cheeks.
I ran to the fourth floor of the mall, which had grocery stores. I walked into a store and was looking at the various chocolates. Looking at that, I suddenly realized I was hungry and I wanted that chocolate. I was about to pick up a large bar of milk chocolate when someone called me.
“Zachary” I called when I saw my cousin brother walking towards me. His dad and my dad were brothers, and Zach currently is the Beta of our pack. Just like me, he hasn’t met his mate yet and his parents like to irritate him a lot about that, which thankfully my parents don’t do. So he had moved out from his house and was staying with Little bear’s grandpa, the former Alpha of Regal Pack.
“Yes, Malory” he said placing his arms over my shoulders and I grinned. “When is your dance going to start?” he asked me and picked up the milk chocolate for me.
“In about fifteen to twenty minutes. Why?” I asked him. Besides Twins, Zach is the only person who knows about the flash mob.
“I saw the other Luna and her mate” Zach said. “She is in the dance right?”
“Yes” I said knowing he was talking about Raven, Peter Moreland’s daughter.
“Did you see Little bear?” I asked him. I didn’t meet her ever since she left the pack; we only talked through phone twice so far.
“No... But I did see Cole Parker” he said smirking while we walked to next isle.
“He is here. It is true then” I said and Zach cocked an eyebrow. “He texted me around ten minutes ago, claiming that he saw me in the mall and I didn’t see him. I assumed he was lying”
“Oh… that message? He forwarded it to around fifteen girls in front of me” Zach said and I rolled my eyes. Typical Cole.
“Aaa… Zach, Cole is such a big flirt. He keeps tormenting me” I complained with a scowl directed at Cole.
“You should flirt back. There is no problem with Cole. Guys like him are to be used and thrown. When he finds a girl prettier than you, he’ll go after her. He will not torment you after that” Zach said calmly and I sighed. There was no one in this planet who took Cole seriously.
“But still… Uh… tell me which floor he is in. I’ll avoid going to that floor” I told him.
“I met him in third floor. I don’t know where he is now” Zach said, picking up a spicy bag of chips.
“Those are really spicy” I told him, pointing at the bag.
“I like spicy food. Not everyone likes sweet things” he said referring to my chocolate. “I wonder why you didn’t turn into a vegetarian” Zach teased.
“I want to, but my wolf just can’t resist meat” I said with a frown and Zach chuckled paying both our bills.
“Where is Aunt?” he asked me, referring to my mama, while we walked out of the shop.
“She is in fifth floor” “Oh! Call me when your dance starts” he said walking away.
“Where are you going?” I asked following him.
“Gaming Arcade” he said and I sighed.
“Bye” I said and decided to wander around the floor until I get a text asking me to come downstairs.
“Lory” someone called me, when I was eating my chocolate, leaning against the railing. I frowned when I saw the devil Cole Parker walking towards me with a wide grin on his face. How did he even find me? I noticed that Cole had cut his blonde hair and they were now short and spiky.
Urgh! Kill me now.
“Hey babe” Cole said and I scowled at him. He wasn’t alone though, his friend was also with him.
“Hi” I said to be polite.
“Malory, meet Tristan and Tristan this is Malory. She is my… you know” he said tilting his head to the side and grinning like a joker.
I grinded my teeth and glared at him. “Define ‘you know’” I said, tilting my head the same way he did. His friend laughed when I did that.
“My girlfriend” Cole replied shamelessly.
“I’ll twist your neck so that your head will forever stay tilted” I snapped at him.
“Chillax babe” he said grinning.
“Stop calling me babe and stop texting me too” I snapped louder.
“But I do it only because you want me to, after all you were the one who wanted to-” I jumped and clamped my hands on his mouth to stop him from speaking further. He knew I had meant to send ‘Kill you’ instead of ‘Kiss you’ but he still keeps bantering me about that a lot. I wouldn’t have stopped him from speaking if his friend wasn’t there with him. I didn’t want others thinking that I am some desperate chick because I clearly wasn’t one.
“Shut up” I hissed while his friend cocked an eyebrow. When Cole nodded, I removed my hand from his mouth and wiped it with his shirt.
“Eww” he said with a frown.
Just then his friend’s cell phone started ringing and he walked away to answer it. I was about to walk away too when Cole stopped me. “I heard that there is a flash mob going to happen. Are you in it?” he asked me and I shook my head.
“What flash mob?” I asked him innocently.
“Don’t lie Lory, I know you are in it” Cole said grinning widely. “I am going to make a video and upload it in you tube” he said trying to break a piece from my chocolate. “Ungrateful woman” he muttered, when I kept it out of his reach.
“So are you in the flash mob?” he asked me while I broke a piece and handed it over to Cole.
“Yes. I am the lead” I told him with a frown.
“Wow! Congrats” he said and raised his blonde eyebrows when he saw my frown.
“I don’t want to be the lead” I said sadly.
“Why?” he asked and then, I narrated the whole story that had happened. When I finished, Cole was holding his tummy and laughing loudly.
“Of course you would find humor in my sad story” I said and walked away.
“Wait” he said coming after me. “You have to admit that was funny” he said and I shook my head. “So your whole team is here? Including that hot best friend of yours?” he asked referring to little bear.
“Yep. She is here with her boyfriend” I replied grinning widely and Cole pouted. I knew Sel was here along with Alpha Duncan, her mate and Darya but I didn’t know which floor she was in. I was so happy to see her and her mate together after whatever fight that they had. Anybody could see Alpha Duncan loved little bear to bits. The way he had protected her that day was a proof of that. Though I don’t appreciate killing much, I could understand why Alpha Duncan did that. His mate and his sister’s life were in danger and those rogues would have killed Little bear, if Alpha Duncan had not arrived in time. I would obviously prefer my best friend’s life over a bunch of tormenting rogues.

Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
