Introduction
"During the three-year duration of the contract, you are not allowed to get close to any other guy. I don't share Roxanne–never," he had stated sternly.
I was from a historically strong family of werewolf hunters. I'd learned a thing or two about calmness from my late grandmother. I even went as far as teaching me some techniques used by the best werewolf hunters. I was able to tame the raging and very dangerous creatures.
I didn't want to chase around werewolves like my ancestors, but I sometimes monetized my skills, offering the service of hypnosis to both troubled and curious minds. I never took interest in hunting werewolves. It was what got my father in prison, so this kind of life wasn't for me.
He'd been incarcerated when I was just a little child, for the murder of an innocent human he had mistaken for a werewolf.
Soon enough this new responsibility started weighing on me as I grew up.
Derek, a werewolf, the man had offered to loan me the money I needed to continue college. He was definitely an enigma, he was mysterious and arrogant. I wondered if he was married.
Lucas, a vampire, cared about me and he was gentle and patient. All I needed was three years. After three years, the contract with Derek would be over and I would be completely done with him.
Chapter 1
Roxanne
I finally opened my eyes and sighed loudly. The memories from last night started spinning in front of my mind. I have been half-awake in the last twenty minutes but for some reason I couldn't move. My body hurt more than my wounded heart. I released the breath that I didn't know I was holding and then stretched my sore muscles.
I planted my elbows on the mattress and tried to lift myself up. I leaned forward but then an unexpected dizziness hit me. It was early morning and I felt truly exhausted like I had spent the whole night partying hard, which wasn't the case. I could still feel the energy that embraced me during the entire evening rushing through my veins. I knew that last night was going to be tough, but I never realized just how much this man would truly exhaust me.
My heart felt heavy, filled with raw emotions and resentment that I felt towards myself. I didn't know why I had spent the night with him in the first place. This was never the plan. The man that I was with last night didn't care about me, so why was I still thinking about him this morning? This wasn't normal, but his energy remained vibrant in the room, filling every corner and caressing me.
I heard him leave earlier while I pretended to be asleep. He was indifferent, cold and his mannerism rubbed off on me in a wrong way, but I couldn't deny the attraction between us. It was strong and overwhelming. I was annoyed by the fact that he didn't even bother to say goodbye afterwards. This was just a business arrangement. I told myself that I wasn't going to be emotionally involved with him in any way.
On our way here, we didn't talk much while he was driving. At least, our conversation was more like a distraction for us both. He had a nice car that looked really expensive from both the interior and exterior.
“How much longer until we get there?” I had suddenly heard him ask at some point, during the drive.
At first, I thought I hadn’t heard what he said correctly. “Not sure, you're the one driving.” I told him.
He looked at me and smiled for the briefest moment, “I wasn’t referring to you.”
Immediately, a female voice sounded out of the car, “Arrival time is five minutes, thirty-two seconds, based on the current traffic.”
“Oh.” I said quickly, realizing what was going on and trying to save myself from further embarrassment.
“Okay thanks,” he replied the computer voice. “Just wondering. This traffic is ridiculous.” It was as though he was having a usual conversation with a person.
“It is. But there are other routes to the destination. Do you want me to pull some alternatives?”
“No. Let’s stick to this.” He quickly said. At that point, I concluded he was only trying to show off. But I also thought the computer assistant was a really cool thing to have and I was admittedly a little bit impressed.
After a few minutes had passed, I did a rough calculation in my head and concluded that we should have reached the destination, based on what the computer said earlier. “Are we almost there yet?” I asked.
“We will be soon. The private villa is just a couple of minutes’ drive away.”
“Why do you have a house in such a far and remote area?” I asked out of curiosity.
He turned to look at me with intent. Then he turned his head towards the road and said, “It serves its purpose.”
“What's the purpose?” I pressed.
“Privacy, mainly. It's away from the city and any potential paparazzi.”
That made sense to me. “Sounds nice, I guess.” I guess I was trying to know, without thinking, if there were other girls like me in his life.
“It is. I have high standards.” He said plainly, with a hint of something much higher than pride.
“I can see that.” I told him sarcastically.
As we got near the house, I kept telling myself that I could handle this, that I could handle him, because he was paying me lots of money, but now I wasn't so sure. I didn't think I could continue seeing him, but I still needed the money for my tuition. Deep down I was hoping that he would try to fuck me again this morning, but he didn't even touch me. He just left without a word.
My eyes landed on the bundle of cash he'd made sure to leave conspicuously behind. The sight of it made me a little nauseous, so I continued to breathe through it.
This is just a contract and nothing more. I reminded myself over and over again.
Slowly, I got up and strolled past the beam of morning sunlight that shone through the slight opening in the curtains. I couldn't even pretend that I felt this way because I had a shitty night's sleep. On contrary I have never slept better, I was snuggled to his side throughout the whole night after we fucked like animals for hours. This hotel was fancy and posh. I have never stayed in a place like this. The bed was far from the small-framed and static one I had back at the dormitory. The room was filled with one of those gigantic and sophisticated pieces of furniture that I only ever saw on the TV.
I strolled into the bathroom. Like every other part of the house, the bathroom oozed with a classy elegance that came to life as I flipped on the light switch. I enjoyed the cold, tingling sensation of my bare feet against the hard tiles. Maybe it was a reflection of how I felt at that moment.
The bathroom was spacious. The strong smell of male aftershave filled up the warm space below my nostrils as I walked slowly toward the large oval-shaped mirror by the wall. I realized I didn't look half as bad as I felt inside—as I thought I would. I smiled to myself, but then noticed the faded red marks around my neck. I turned as I traced the random redness, scratches all over my naked upper body. Last night was intense. It seemed as if his every touch still lingered on my body.
I casually ran my hands over the spots I was examining. The man was truly a beast in the bedroom, but I didn't know much about him. His name was Derek Hemming and he gave me several multiple orgasms, so I couldn't really complain. I felt instantly ashamed for admitting this, but he felt good when he was scratching me, leaving red marks all over my thighs and breasts. I liked rough sex.
He was definitely an enigma, he was mysterious and arrogant. I wondered if he was married. The tiny voice in my head told me that he was probably single, but then why would he ask8 me to be his mistress. This didn't make much sense if he wasn't married or in a relationship.
I had been busy, rushing around when I bumped into Derek last month. It was a Friday, and that was the day the photo sessions were always scheduled to take place. My mind was occupied only with one thought–how to get the hell out of Stunner Studios. I worked there as an amateur model and I hated this job. My best friend and roommate, Rose, had offered to help me to get a spot at the studio where she worked herself. When Rose introduced me to the studio’s manager, I was picked right away. Apparently Rose was making a decent amount there and I needed a quick injection of cash, so she recommended me.
For months, all was going relatively well until Rose encouraged me to speak with the manager about my tuition fee. I was truly apprehensive. I didn't want him to know about my issues with money and the fact that I couldn't afford to study. I knew he couldn't be trusted, but I mentioned it to him eventually—and it was a huge mistake.
The man had offered to loan me the money I needed to continue college. Of course there was a catch. He wouldn't just loan me the money out of the goodness of his heart, he wanted me to do nude photo sessions for the studio. After a long and hopeless deliberation about my other options, I agreed to the manager’s demands and took the loan.
During the day of the session, I walked into the building that housed the studio riddled with anxiety and fear, hoping I could somehow pull herself to get through it.
I couldn’t. This was all too much and I felt small when the manager and the men that worked for him told me to strip. My head was spinning, but I knew I couldn't just parade naked in front of them. I was broke and I needed the money to continue my education, but I had to keep my dignity somehow, so I ran away.
I stumbled down the short stairwell at the entrance of the building and then I bumped into Derek. I didn't even take a good look at him when I hurriedly apologized to him as I walked away. A week later, Derek Hemming showed up right outside my dorm room again and I was so shocked to see him there. He was dressed so casually, looking handsome and proud.
“Roxane Bent?” He’d asked. I thought it sounded more like a statement. It was very late in the afternoon, and I was planning to have an early night.
I nodded slowly, wondering what the hell he wanted from me and why he was there. He must have realized I didn’t recognize him.
“I’m Derek.” He quickly said. “Derek Hemming.” He paused for a moment, as though he had half-expected his name to ring a bell in my ears. It didn’t. He was still a stranger that I bumped into the other day.
“I’m not sure you can remember, but this isn’t the first time we are actually meeting, ” He continued.
Even though it’d been a fairly stressful academic day, I had been eager to hear what he had to say and why he showed up. He seemed cool and intriguing,
I was from a historically strong family of werewolf hunters.
My father, and ultimately my mother, had believed he'd been intentionally misled by the werewolf he'd been hunting. They leaded him to the murder of that human.
After my father was locked up my mother had to take care of her family. Back then it was her responsibility and she didn't have any support from her family. Dad was gone and there was no one else. Soon enough this new responsibility started weighing on me as I grew up.
I'd already returned the money I took from Stunner Studio's manager by the time Derek showed up that day. And I was on the verge of losing my studentship when he threw his own offer at me. He was the devil that came to rescue me when I needed him the most. He was the blessing in disguise.
“Be my mistress,” he'd said to me and I stared at him for a long moment, thinking that he was crazy.
This proposal was preposterous. I had no complete idea of what he was asking for, but I agreed. I didn't even know why I said yes.

His fangs glinted as he gripped my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze. Dragon scales shimmered along his neck, breath scorching my skin.
"Your Majesty... I beg—" He shoved me onto the bed. Silk tore with a sharp rip, cold air rushing over my exposed body.
"Scared?" He smirked, palm sliding down my waist, fingers tracing slow, burning circles. "Yet you shiver... not from cold."
I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.
"When your father gave you to me," his lips brushed my ear, voice a dark rumble, "you were already mine."
On the eve of freedom after ten years of servitude, Lina Valeria stood one night away from reuniting with her betrothed. But Dragon King Augustus condemned her to the Abyss Mines on false charges—a trap forged from obsessive desire.

Vengeance of the Forsaken Luna
"Bella." Ethan's tone shifted, taking on that warning edge I knew too well. "Faye is vulnerable right now. She's terrified you'll resent her, that this will divide the pack. The last thing she wants is for this baby to come between us."
"Then you shouldn't have done it." I met his eyes squarely, letting him see the ice in mine. "Go back to your son."
"For fuck's sake." He dragged a hand through his hair. "How many times—it was artificial insemination. They used my sperm, yes, but Faye and I never—"
Bella let out a cold snort. Such brazen lies. Her mate had an affair with his brother's partner, and his entire family helped force her out with nothing, all to make way for the mistress to take her rightful position. Poor fool—he thought she was just an unwanted adopted daughter, easy to dismiss and control. He never knew the computer genius he'd been searching for was his own Luna.
Since he'd tainted himself, Bella was done. She rejected him and reclaimed what was hers, rising to the top with help from Victor, who'd been secretly in love with her for years.
When Ethan tried winning her back: "You don't want our child growing up fatherless."
Bella smiled mockingly. "The child's father isn't you."

The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
Ella never imagined she would marry the man she had secretly loved for years in such a way.

This wasn't a fairy tale proposal, but a carefully orchestrated revenge. Because in James's heart, Ella was the culprit who had killed his sister Cecilia. He wanted her to pay the price—to atone with a lifetime of suffering.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

“There are no limits between us,” he chuckled, the mirth sparkling in his gorgeous eyes. “And all of this stems from the night you gave me both pain and pleasure. I’m simply returning the favor.”
He took two steps forward, and I stepped back. “But…” The memory of what I had done filled me with fear, and I knew I had to get out of there. “I…”
“No, Firecat.” He placed an index finger on my lips. “This will take your mind off that son of a bitch.” His strong hands pulled me by the waist until I felt his hard manhood.
