Tanny-precious · Ongoing · 238.3k Words
Introduction
“A deal? What kind of deal?”
With all the desperation in me, I summoned the courage and spoke up, "Take me as your mate."
Thrown out by her father, betrayed by her mate and best friend, Lena had nothing left but a dying mother and the determination to save her.
Lena was alone, cornered and desperate.
That’s when he appeared, an enigmatic Alpha with storm-grey eyes and a secret of his own. He needed a mate. She needed a miracle.
So she offered a deal:
A fake bond. A contract marriage. No feelings. No strings.
He saved my mother. She helped him silence his bloodthirsty Council who demanded for his mate
But as the full moon nears and their fake bond begins to grow into something real.
Something… not part of the deal.
Her heart began to ache at the thought of leaving. Would she be able to walk away easily?
Chapter 1
LENA’S POV
I stood before the gates of my father's mansion, inside the heavy rain. I was dripping from head to toe, shaking from the cold but I remained there. The constriction in my chest wasn't due to the storm, though, it was due to the crushing weight of hopelessness.
"Please," I breathed, the rain consuming my voice. "Please, Father. Just save Mother."
The house stood vacant, light dancing across the windows, beckoning me in. I squeezed my fists so hard my claws ached to burst forth. My wolf growled, eager to tear the gate off its hinges, to burst in and shatter on my wail. But I calm myself. I had come to plead, not to fight and cause trouble.
I wondered how we had managed to get to this point.
My parents were not fated mates, but they loved each other so much that they got married and vowed to reject their fated mates when they came across them.
My poor mother kept her promise and rejected her mate but my father lied to her that he did the same only for her to find out years later that he had been seeing her secretly and they had a child who was a year older than i am. She confronted him only for us to get kicked out to bring in his mistress and bastard daughter.
My wolf whined deep inside me, pitifully torn by anger and sorrow. She hated this shame, hated that I had come here. But I had no choice. I needed money for my mother’s treatment. Her health greatly deteriorated since the fall out between her and dad.
A shining headlights flashed on me out of nowhere, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Shit!" I sprang away from a black car coming in my direction, managing to avoid the car by the whisker.
The car halted and the door opened to reveal Nina—my father's little bastard daughter with an umbrella in her hands and a wicked smile on her face, walking towards the gate as if it was hers.
"Oh dear," she feigned to be in shock. "Lena, I didn't notice you there. You look so small after getting wet in the rain."
She dripped in sarcasm, and my wolf growled in anger.
"Indeed?" I folded my arms. "Perhaps you ought to have your eyes examined. Or are you merely blind to see things when your head is up your ass?"
Nina's smile quivered.
"You should get out of here immediately," she shouted at me abruptly. "This is Petrakis land. And hear me, I am the only heiress of the pretakis family."
I laughed, a harsh, mirthless laugh that echoed in the darkness.
"Daughter?" I strode towards her with every particle of rage that churned within me. "You're a product of a dirty affair. You will always be an illegitimate child as long as your mother is not legally married to father,"
Her eyes blazed with anger.
"You cunt!" she yelled into my face and slapped me across the cheek before I even had time to open my mouth.
My own head whipped back, but she hadn't begun to pull out her hand when I attacked her again—faster, more frantic. The impact of the sound boomed out and shook the air like a slab of thunder.
Nina moved back in an outraged way.
"What in the world is the matter here?" a voice boomed.
I was rigid and slowly turned toward the gate.
There he was. My dad. Standing on the porch with his arms crossed, his cold eyes left me and glanced at Nina, whose hand was on her cheeks as she sobbed loudly like I had stabbed her.
That fucking pretender.
"She hit me, Father!" Nina wept, fleeing to him. "I wanted to give the umbrella, but she hit me!"
I didn’t expect any better from her.
"You liar. You hit me first.” I yelled back.
But my father would not even listen to me. His eyes held a lot of disgust when they stared at me, like I was filth on the ground.
"I knew you were always an ungrateful child, Lena," he taunted. "Get out of here and suffer with your dying mother. I never want to see your face again."
Something inside me snapped. The very last skinny strand that held me to him snapped.
"I see now," I snarled, my words spitting out from between my teeth, my voice shaking—not of fear, but of anger building in my blood. "You are not my father. You are a coward who will die in his lies. May you and your harlot choke on their shame one day."
"Lena—"
"No!" I interrupted. My claws extended, my amber eyes ablaze in the night. "You'll pay for what you've done to Mother. All of you, I promise you that."
I didn't want to hear any more. I wheeled about and walked away, my heart pounding, my wolf boiling over.
And when I stepped onto the sidewalk, a blinding pain erupted in my chest.
"Aaah!" I doubled over, clutching my side. My knees buckled, and I sat, rain and tears streaming down my face.
Not now. Not this accursed pain again.
I have been having this recurring pain for months. At first, it came once in a while but it has become more frequent. I went to see a doctor but they couldn't find anything.
Remembering that I had to save my mother, I dragged myself to my feet. "I can't be weak now."
I thought about everyone around me that I can go to for help and the only person I could think of was my mate, Trevor.
He was from a wealthy family and had a company he was managing to himself. He was the only person that could help me.
Fighting through the pain in my chest, I walked to his place which was a few miles away.
I arrived at his doorstep and the pain intensified. I knocked on the door. “Trevor, open the door.”
There was no response. I knocked over and over again, still response.
I was scared that something might have happened to him so I searched my brain to remember his password which I got on the fourth try.
I pushed the door open and just stood, frozen.
The floor of the living room was littered with clothes. Not just men clothings but female clothings too. There were heels and a very familiar purse on the ground.
The pain in my chest became sharper and my inside burned like it was on fire.
"No." I gasped.
I stepped further toward the bedroom, every cell in me crying out to me to turn around, to leave. But I had to see.
And then I heard it.
A loud moan.
A groan, followed by his voice. "Baby, you feel so good."
And then, her voice. "Don't stop, please. I'm coming," she yelled
I froze on my spot. That voice. no. No, it couldn't be.

Entitled.
Delicate.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.

And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.

What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
