Introduction
Chapter 1
Suddenly the rain began to pour—one of those downpours that drenches you before you realize what’s happening. Ariana rushed into the first café she saw, wet strands of hair brushing over from her face and blinking the drops off her lashes. The place was warm and calming with a homely feel and the low whispers of conversation. She had never seen such aesthetics back in her hometown. New to the city, she still had a lot of experiencing to do.
Only one table was free—well, almost. A handsome man sat at a private corner which was mostly like a VIP section, working on a laptop, coffee brewing beside him. He looked up, and without hesitation, pushed his books aside and signaled her to come over.
“I see you need a place to seat, you can join my table” he said.
Ariana hesitated. “Are you sure?”
He smirked. “I don’t bite usually, except you want me to.”
She laughed and sat down. She quickly requested for the menu as she had started feeling the shivers from being beaten by the rain.
Minutes passed. Then an hour. They didn’t talk, but something about the silence was comfortable, like they’d known each other before. When Ariana's pone alarm rang for her next meeting reminder, she stood reluctantly.
“Thanks for the seat,” she said, reaching for her drenched coat.
He looked up. “Wait—what’s your name?”
She paused. “Ariana Cruze.”
He smiled. “I’m Callum Guerrero. Same time tomorrow?”
She laughed and left somewhat excited for the open invitation to join him for coffee again.
........
Callum Guerrero had another agenda for the night as his Lamborghini Urus pulled up in front of his Elite only nightclub, CAGE whose name was coined from his initials. One of the luxury Nightlife spots in Manhattan.
The paparazzi were at it again, swarming all around him as soon as he stepped out. He hated the media but knew they were good for business so he let them have their way. Growing up a Guerrero, meant knowing how to put up a good show and that was exactly what he did. He flashed his ever radiant smile, his panty dropping antidote when it came to winning over the ladies.
Speaking of ladies, Callum glanced through the crowd and spotted the ever gorgeous Milanna Prestley, a toxic journalist who he had his eyes on for a while. Their eyes meet and she cuts through the crowd making her way towards him. She said nothing as she stood beside him and made poses whilst the paparazzi took pictures.
Once they had their feel of the flashlights, Callum took her hand and led her into the club through one of the VIP entrances.
"Business or Pleasure, to what do I owe this honor?" Callum asked as they made their way upstairs.
"It's the weekend Callum, loosen up and let's have some fun" She answered flirtatiously
Callum scoffed at her response, knowing he was in for a crazy night.
"What are you in the mood for ; Champagne, Whiskey or Tequila" Callum asked
"Whatever you're buying" Milanna replied
Callum switched to his award winning smile knowing what he was about to suggest could potentially be detrimental as Milanna was known for releasing sabotaging write-ups and the last thing He needed was to appear in the media in a bad light but he needed a distraction- a very hot wild distraction.
"What do you say we take this party to my suite?" Callum asked and grinned
"How could I ever say no to that charming smile" She replied. Her grin even wider than his as she clung onto his arm.
Callum brushed past partygoers as he led her to the private elevator. His security guard was with them but Callum relieved him of his services for the night.
"How's work being" He asked, a few seconds after the elevator closed behind them.
"Do you really want to talk about work right now" She said as she stepped closer to him
"No?" He chuckled and gave his signature smile, his pink lips thinning in excitement.
"Good cause I didn't come here to talk" Her lips close the distance between them as she plants a hot wet kiss on his lips.
Callum flipped her over in one swift move that had her backed into the elevator walls in the twinkle of an eye. She reached for him just as his phone rang.
"Ignore the damn phone" she moaned amidst a chuckle as Callum kissed his way down her neck.
They both groaned in annoyance as the phone continued to ring. His lawyer would kill him for ignoring the calls but he would rather die than to miss out on a night with THE Milanna Prestley.
The elevator stopped at his floor before they could go any further. They stumbled out, still clutching onto each other as they made their way to his penthouse. As soon as they entered, He undid her zipper and watched as her dress fell to the floor.
"Champagne? " She nodded. "Make yourself comfortable while I grab a bottle" Callum whispered against her lips.
"I'll be in the bedroom" She says, Biting her red painted lips as she finds her way to his room.
Callum didn't blink as he watched her strut away. Just for tonight he was going to forget who she was and enjoy his night with her. With that affirmation, he hurried to his cellar and grabbed a bottle and two glasses and dashed to the room.
Callum handed her the wine, all the while maintaining eye contact. She slowly took a sip and barely placed the lipstick stained glass on the nightstand when he pulled her in for another kiss. In no time, he hoisted her up with her long legs wrapping around his torso, he made his way to the bed. With a few desperate finger flips, her lingerie gave way giving him more access to the creamy flesh beneath. In one sharp thrust, their bodies were united, gazing into each others eyes with passionate kisses and labored breaths, the night ended on an explosive note.

Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
The Kidney That Killed Me
A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.
When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.
When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
