Introduction
"Keep me alive? You’re dragging me straight to hell! My exams, my life, even the right to drink a damn coffee in peace, you’ve wrecked it all!"
1820, under a blood moon. Alpha King Aldrich watched his pregnant mate die, his kingdom burn. Rescued from the executioner’s block by rogue wolves, he dug his nails into the dirt and swore: every debt would be paid in blood.
The Great Red Moon Prophecy had promised him an heir, the strongest Alpha to ever walk. He’d believed it. Gambled everything. And lost.
Centuries later, in a London café, final-year nursing student Aiden chugs coffee over his finals notes. One step from his white coat, until a man named Aldrich walks in and drops a secret that makes his hands shake.
"You’re half-werewolf." The man’s voice is ice. "And you’re the one from the prophecy. The ‘strongest’."
Normalcy shatters like his coffee mug. Aiden only knows this: since the man arrived, the weirdness haven’t stopped—wolf howls outside his dorm, emotions spiking out of control, strange eyes watching him from the shadows.
He hates Aldrich. Hates the chaos, hates the weight in his eyes, hates the flicker of something unfamiliar in his own chest.
But when the first threat, claw marks, bloodstained, appears on his dorm door, when he finds his mother’s "accidental death" wasn’t an accident, Aiden has to face it.
Some fates won’t stay buried.
Shadows from 1820. Fangs hidden in modern streets. All of them are hunting the "strongest",hunting "him".
Aldrich says he won’t lose again. But as Aiden stares at the centuries-old king’s back, shielding him from the dark, he can’t help wondering—
What did he lose, all those years ago?
And why… "him"?
Chapter 1
Chapter one: Blood Moon Of War.
England, 1840.
The moon bleeds into the night , visibly red. The blood moon was out. There was an ambush on this , blood spilled on the very white snow.
“Fall back, everyone now. Protect the walls of the kingdom”, King Aldrich barked orders commanding his warriors. He kept yelling orders as the whole kingdom was crushed under chaos.
Aldrich transforms to his beast form as gets surrounded by three wolves. He was outnumbered but managed to kill them off sustaining just a bite by his side of his ribs.
Wolves fangs and teeth snapped at each other, ripping each other into pieces. His warriors were greatly outnumbered.
This attack wouldn't have been possible if someone had betrayed him from inside his courts. He had everything under control, where did it all go wrong?.
His kingdom was under attack by a rival cruel wolf kingdom.
Aldrich ran towards his castle. The fire was beginning to engulf the walls. Even half of the village was disappearing to ashes.
“Liora”, he thought to himself.
His pregnant wife was in the castle.
“I cannot lose you or my child, Liora”
He ran in his beast form towards their room but she wasn't there.
The room was disoriented, like she was forcefully taken away from here.
He changed to his human form, yelling her name desperately.
“Liora!,Liora!”
“Aldrich, help me!”, he heard her scream. He followed the sound where it was coming from.
“Over here, your majesty or should I say Aldrich now?”
It was Regnok, his second in command, best friend and a Beta. He had a knife over Liora’s throat.
“You better let her go this minute, I command you now”
“Aldrich, you just don't get it?. You are not king anymore. You were betrayed by some of the chiefs in your courts. Do you think we're going to open our eyes and let you have the most powerful Alpha”
“You were so focused on your prophecy heir you had on the way, you didn't know what was going on under your nose”, he laughed maliciously.
“Why are you doing this, Regnok. My husband trusted you. Please, this isn't you. ”, Liora cried.
“How about you shut up, Liora. You knew I wanted you first but rejected me”
“All of you are going to pay, how dare you do this to me? Where's your dignity? I made you my second in command, what else do you want from me”
“Being Second is being the first to lose. I have always lost to you, Aldrich. It doesn't matter anymore, the prophecy of having the most powerful heir would never be fulfilled”
Regnok drives the knife deep into Liora’s stomach twice, tossing her off the castle tower immediately as she falls to her demise.
“NO!!”, Aldrich yelled as he launched to go after her.
He got hit by something hard, sending him the opposite direction.
Regnok was already in his beast form. Biting him by the ribs and hind legs so he couldn't move.
“Nahhh, not so fast. She's dead now”
“Seize him but keep him alive. The new king decides what to do with him”
“Burn everything to the ground, everyone I say. Anything valuable you can keep for yourself including the women”,Regnok commands the warriors.
The kingdom and everything Aldrich ever had crumbled, disappearing into ashes before his eyes.
Thrown into a cage as he drifts in and out of consciousness. He cannot die, he had to take revenge on everyone that conspired to take part in the coup that cost him his precious wife and mate with their unborn child.
He failed her, and his kingdom. He lost everything, how can the moon goddess forsake him this way.
The cart rocked gently, taking the cage that Aldrich was held captive away.
“Ah”, he heard a scream from a guard.
Then a sharp snark and howling for somewhere in the dark. But this one wasn't from the guards but from someone else.
“Merrick, he's here.”, a feminine voice but sharp and commanding.
She breaks open the lock of the cage in a blink of an eye.
Aldrick tried lifting his head but the heavy chains on his neck made it difficult.
“Your Majesty, we came to rescue you. Please, stay with us”, he heard that voice again.
The chain broke under claws.
“Grants, make sure you get him to safety. We will cover you.”
“Alright, Fiona”
“Let's deal with these guards now”, said Merrick.
Fiona drew her sword while Merrick transformed to his beast form.
Grants lifts Aldrich up and he runs with great speed into the dark.
No matter how many centuries it was going to take. Aldrich swore under the moon to have his revenge and prayed to the moon goddess to give him a second chance, a second mate to fulfill the prophecy. .

When I Disappeared, He Regretted It
The moment the screen lit up, my entire world came crashing down.
The woman on the bed was Calista - that girl who grew up with us since we were kids. And that hand caressing her skin was wearing the wedding ring I had personally put on Matteo's finger.
"I've missed you so much..."
"You drive me crazy, baby..."
Those sweet words I knew so well completely destroyed me.
Everyone said we were the perfect couple, but who knew this marriage was built on nothing but lies?
Since he's so good at acting, I guess it's time I gave him a show of my own. I'm going to make sure everyone sees what this "perfect husband" really is...
He Thought I'd Never Leave
When he said he was being bullied, I believed him. When he kissed me on that rooftop, I thought he felt the same. When he asked me to transfer schools with him, I said yes without hesitation.
Then I heard him bragging to his friends: "She'd save her first time for me. Hell, she'd still be thinking of me on her wedding night."
The bullying was staged. The kiss meant nothing. He just wanted me gone—so his new girl could feel more comfortable.
He thought I'd beg. He thought I'd cry. He thought I'd never actually leave.
I left the country.
And ran straight into his stepbrother.
I Died While They Threw Her a Party
Their real daughter came home. She'd only been back two years. That's all it took to erase twenty-four.
When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.
My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"
"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."
They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.
I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.
But when they finally learned the truth, they fell apart.
Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
The Kidney That Killed Me
A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.
When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.
When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
