Introduction

Andre Kim has a plan. To Finish his final year of university. Lead his team to a championship. Get drafted into the NHL. Only to fall catastrophically in love with his best friend's boyfriend.
That last part was not in the plan.

When a burst pipe floods his dorm and leaves him with one reassignment option sharing a room with Dylan, science genius, amateur boxer, and the single most beautiful person Andre has ever seen in his life he tells himself he can handle it. It's just proximity. It's just inconvenient timing. It's just the fact that Dylan doesn't even know who he is, despite wearing his name and number on the back of a custom glitter jacket.

Chapter 1

Being knocked off of his feet and thrown into the fiery pits of hell, is not what Andre Kim expected to happen this hockey season. 

Show up, slay the ice, take home a championship, have recruiter eyes on him next year as he graduates... It's perfect. A seamless plan even, except it’s all up in flames when his eyes land on the most gorgeous man he’s ever seen in his life. 

Andre isn’t naive, he is well aware that there are countless beautiful people in the world. 

But ones that have black curls and big round glasses and … and is that a fucking belly button ring? Jesus.

Andre chokes on a breath, trying not to get caught staring. He doesn’t know who that guyis but he wants to. He really really wants to.

Like he’s already mapping out the quickest way to get off the ice when the game is over and find him but then a voice calls out, 

“Daniel’s, that your boyfriend over there? Why is he wearing Kim’s number instead of yours?”

Huh? Andre follows Daniel’s curses and laughs over towards that same spot in the stands where he was just staring. 

Only to find that pretty little thing behind the glass, spinningaround and showing off his number with a cheeky little smile on his face.

Of fucking course.

Andre ’s co-captain Daniel, scoffs and laughs maniacally, explaining that the guy…

“Dylan…lost a bet and clearly decided to be a brat–riling up his boyfriend by wearing another guys number.”

But damn did he have to rile up Andre too? because now he has to sit in the locker room and hear the guys give Daniel shit about his nerdy boyfriend being a total fucking smoke show and Andre . just wants to die because damn Dylan walked right out of his dreams.

Genuinely, seriously, if Andre looked inside his mind to visualize the type of person he could stare at everyday for the rest of his life and never get bored? It’s that . Him.

All gorgeous and adorable and his eyes were like little galaxies sparkling through the glass.

Oh and of course, he’s already someone else’s.

As if he isn’t already having a miserable fucking day, when Andre gets home it’s to a completely flooded the dorm.

Pipes burst in the ceiling and left his place a disaster. Thankfully he just crashes the night with Daniel.

The next day when he’s reassigned and Andre moves dorms, he wasn’t expecting to find Dylan there. 

He figured it’d be another athlete. Considering they usually do their best to pair students accordingly.

He guesses a last minute dorm change in the beginning of the semester doesn’t leave many options. 

But of all the options, did they have to pull the straw that’s going to fuck him over entirely. 

Andre was willing and prepared for whatever this new dorm trew at him. Except, for it being that gorgeous boy with those thick round glasses and his long hair tossed up in a messy ponytail behind his head.

Dylan of all people. Hunched over his bed with notebooks and highlighters everywhere while the discovery channel is playing on the tv as background noise. 

How is this the same person with the little silver belly button ring that Andre hasn’t gotten out of his mind and washboard abs it decorates?
