Chapter 1
~Sage~
I could feel hands crawling up my body. I felt my dress being slowly drawn up to my waist. Hands were starting to grab my body parts, and I was starting to get disgusted.
Even though this was a dream, I remembered the feeling that I currently felt. This was the familiar feeling that I always get when my step brother tries to have his way with me.
It wasnât until I felt hands groping my breasts that I realized.
This wasnât a dream!
My eyes shot open and a scream left my throat as I saw him on my bed with my dress up to my waist.
I scrambled away from him, rearranging my dress and thankful for the little shorts that Iâd decided to wear whenever I wanted to sleep.
âAsher! What are you doing in my room?â
âWhat does it look like?â he asked, standing. âIâm here to fully initiate you into womanhood. You turned eighteen today and youâre still a virgin. That isnât proper. Allow me to show you a glimpse of what being a woman means.â
âI donât remember asking you to turn me into a woman, Asher. Leave my room or Iâll scream.â I stuttered as I backed away from my step brother.
âWhy donât you try? Then youâll explain why youâve been trying to get me to sleep with you.â
âWhat?â I gasped, âIâve never done that.â
âWho will believe you? Your father hates you and my mother abhors you.â He cackled, ignoring my protest as he stepped closer to me. His expression was like that of a predator that had finally caught the prey that had taken him so much time and effort.
But Iâll be damned if I let him get his stupid wish.
I opened my mouth to retort but he beat me to it. âAnyway, your father wants to speak to you. Heâs in a fit of rage. I think you might get the belt again.â he said and left after practically undressing me with his eyes.
I released the breath that Iâd been holding for the longest time.
Father wants to see me this early in the morning? Could it be because I just turned eighteen and my wolf was still dormant? Or is it because Iâm yet to get mated?
Whichever one it was, I hoped that he wasnât mad enough to use his belt on me this time.
The whelps and wounds from the last beating he gave me were still fresh on my back. I donât think that Iâd be able to take anymore beating for now. At least until these wounds start to close up.
I rearranged my clothes and stepped out of my room. I saw my father lounging on the sofa, reading a paper.
The permanent scowl on his face was even more intense and I felt my heart start to beat ferociously.
âFather, you sent for me,â I said calmly as soon as I got to the sitting room.
âYes, I did, sit down.â He ordered with a plain look plastered on his face. Without further questioning I down gently and stared at him curiously.
âPack your things. You will be getting married to Alpha King Damon.â He said without looking at me.
I gasped in shock. âWhat?â
Alarmed, I sprang up from my seat.
âYou will sit down.â He ordered clenching his teeth.
âDo you hate me that much? Do you hate me that much to throw me to the first man who comes to buy me? You abhor me that much to give me out to a man older than you? A man who is one more feet closer to his grave?â I cried.
âDonât you forget that Iâm not just your father, but also your alpha. You will respect me!â He growled, slamming his hands hard on the table.
His eyes looked up at me finally and I wished that they hadnât. They were red and fiery, making me almost piss in my pants.
With his alpha mode on display, there was nothing that I could do.
âAs I was saying before you foolishly interrupted, Iâm being kind enough to get you married to someone of good values and position, and the wedding has been fixed already.â âWhat did I ever do to you?â I looked at him, my eyes starting to water. âWhy have you always been so hostile to me? Tell me what I need to do and Iâll change just for you to love me like your daughter.â I blurted out as tears gathered up in the corner of my eyes.
âYou want to know?â he asked, stalking towards me, the disgust and fury in his expression unmistakable.
If anyone had told me that a father could have such contempt for his child, I would have laughed in the personâs face.
But with what I was seeing, I was even scared to be termed alpha Donatus's daughter. He looked like he would strangle me with the first chance that he got and bury my body in a shallow grave.
âYou want to know why the sight of you disgusts me?â
I nodded, the tears brimming in my eyes and threatening to make a flood.
âItâs because youâre the devil's offspring. You killed my wife! If not for your existence she would still be here by my side, but you had to kill her to get into this world.â He yelled, his fists clenching and unclenching.
I gasped, my breaths coming in short sobs. The tears that Iâd been trying to hold in poured recklessly down my cheeks. How was it my fault that Mom died? I was only a child and I did nothing wrong. I also never got to see her.
âThis marriage is not a request, it's an order from your alpha. You will get married and thereâs nothing you will do to stop it.â He said in a tone of finality and started to walk away.
With a last desperate attempt to invoke some kind of fatherly love in him, I fell to my knees in front of my father and held his legs helplessly. âFather please you canât do this to me, I wonât survive one day under his roof, you canât get me married to him.â I begged, hoping that his cold heart could melt a bit towards me.
But I was wrong.
I was so wrong.
The next thing I knew was his free leg connecting with my chest. The force of his kick made me fly across the room.
I landed on a furniture and saw stars for a moment. The excruciating pain that hit my insides was nothing that I had imagined.
I groaned, curling myself up in a ball while trying to get used to the pain. It didnât help that the wounds that I got from the last beating that he gave me were still fresh. I glanced at my shoulder and saw a patch of blood starting to form on it.
âDo not ever touch me with those cursed hands of yours. Iâll cut them off the next time they come in contact with meâ he said coldly, his voice devoid of any emotion.
Tears continued rolling down my cheeks as I watched my father walk out without sparing me another glance and I couldnât help but wake up to the realization that my life was over.
I sniffled, my eyes landing on a splinter of sharp wood on the floor.
I groaned, reaching out to pick it up. I positioned it on my neck, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath.

Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate littleâ"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been gloryâblood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend meâhe sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrenderâdive into the waves and never surfaceâbut the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precisionâbecoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding strangerâand my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me payâand take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My FiancĂ©âThen Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancĂ© nowâbillionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didnât mind. Iâd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. Thatâs when it hit meâhe didnât love me. He didnât even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasnât even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disasterâmy parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. Iâd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision Iâd ever made.
Because my one-night stand isnât just some random guy. Heâs richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, heâs not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
