Chapter 1
Josephine POV
My eyes blurred with unshed tears, as I managed to look at my father, he was looking right at me, but the worse part of it was that he doesn't care.
"Please dad don't do this to me please" I pleaded with so much pain.
"You will have to marry him, because we have already made this arrangement and there is no turning back"
"So you are doing this because of your business right, you want your partnership with the Rowland's family to grow to the highest peak right?" I asked, with evident pain in my voice. But rather he did the unexpected by coming closer to me, then he cupped my cheeks using his palms.
"I know how you feel about this, but you have to believe me, all I ever wanted was for the best for you,I just want you to marry someone who can take care of you, not that pathetic life you called a lover" he said to me, which made me stared at him with a heavy heart.
"Please don't call him that" I pleaded, which made him took a deep breath before he stood up, then he started taking steady strides towards the door.
"My decision is final Josephine, and there is no turning back, because I know that very soon you will understand why I'm doing this" he said, before he left.
I cuddled in my warm blanket, before I started crying my eyes out. I felt so hurt that I won't be with the man I love but with someone that I hate so much, I took a deep breath, before I went closer to him, that's when I heard the voice of the man my heart yearns for, I immediately jolt in happiness before I stood up.
Heading towards the window, that's when I noticed his bright blue eyes, staring right at me, I managed to jump through the window, since the distance from the window to the ground was not that far.
I immediately engulfed him in a warm hug, while feeling his warmth, immediately my eyes blurred with unshed tears.
" I love you so much" I blurted with so much emotions, he plastered a smile on his face.
"I love you too, for that reason, I'll like to take you somewhere, somewhere very special, please come with me" he said, which made me nod my head, before I followed him.
We continued walking, till we reached a certain location, that's when we found ourselves close to a River, and we were out from the big city and tall buildings.
" Aiden...why did you bring me here?" I asked, before I shift some strands of his brown hair.
" Because...I know that your father won't let me have you, so the only way to see you for one last time is to feel you, just once..." He took a deep breath before he continued.
" I want to make a bond with you Josephine, because you mean the world to me" when those words escape his lips, immediately my eyes blurred with another unshed tears.
I just wonder why my father, can't allow me with this young man, what did I do to deserve all these pain and hurt.
"You know I'll love to give you my body but..."
"Shhh...I understand, but for the love I have for you, can't you please give me this opportunity " he said, I thought about for a while, I really want to make love to him, but I have already promised myself that I'll have sex on my wedding night, I don't want to break my promise.
" Some promises are meant to be broken Josephine " he said, almost reading my thoughts, I took a deep breath.
" Okey " was my Simple answer, before I went closer to him, he then slipped his hand through my tight skirt, as he felt my soft thighs.
I gasps, when I felt his cold hands in between my thighs.
"Please stop..." I urged him, making him stared at me with a pitiable gaze, which managed to make me feel even more guilty for putting him in this kind of situation.
"No I can't do this, let's wait, I know I'm an old school, but I want to wait" .
"Yeah...yeah.. I understand, you don't love me enough to give me your body right?" .
"No... no, I didn't say that, Just that..."
"Just that very soon you will be leaving me to marry someone whom your parents chose for you right?". when those words escape his lips, I opened my mouth in shock, I was surprised that he knew about it.
" How did you know about it?".
"It doesn't matter Josephine, the real thing here is that I don't want to lose you, I know I'm not rich, like the guy your father is forcing you to get married to, but I don't think I'll survive the hurt, if you leave me Josephine" he cried, making me feel even more hurt.
" No you won't lose me" I assured him, before I engulfed him in a warm hug.
"We would work this out together okey" I assured him, making him, plaster a smile.
" But at least give me a chance to feel your smooth body, that I have always craved for ages" I said, which made him plaster a smile on his face, I took a deep breath, before I stood up, he then did the same, before he took a whiff of my scent.
" I just can't wait to have in my arms, to kiss you, and for you to belong to me and me alone" he said, making me plaster a smile.
"Very soon that will happen, I'll try to convince my father to allow me marry you" I said, before I brought my lips closer to his.
" But what if he doesn't agree with the union?" he asked.
"Then I'll try to find another way" .
" Which way?"
"I'll have no other option but to flee from the house" I said with a determine look.
" You are planning to what?" The blaring voice of my father resonate through the thin air.
