Kamila reached out for the divorce papers, signed her name and left the Morrison mansion with a promise that she would come back and make them loose everything they had ever worked hard for love? She has three elder brothers who dote on her.
Kamila went back to her family and started her plot against her ex in laws until she met Ethan, her childhood friend whom she had bumped into years ago
Chapter 1
On the day of Kamila's wedding, she hadn't known then that she would be passing through the gates of Hell instead of a new home. She sacrificed everything she possibly could for Arnoldo, all in hopes that her love would be reciprocated. Her family " the Wilsons " had tried to persuade her to change her mind and not be involved with Arnoldo. They had warned her that she was only going to be hurt by him.It was true. Even before their wedding, Kamila had caught signs of her fiancé's infidelity. At that time, Kamila hadn't listened to her family. She thought that Arnoldo would change for her.On the day of their wedding, her soon-to-be husband was an hour late. She hadn't missed the odd stares they gave her, nor the low murmurs between the guests.
Kamila was indeed the star of her wedding. Alas, it was not because she was the bride. It was because she was a laughing stock. They hadn't openly mocked her solely because Grandma Megan had been present. Even so, their hushed gossip and subtle laughter could still be caught by the keen eye. When Arnoldo had finally arrived, he strode to the altar coldly. He hadn't even spared his bride a second glance before they finished the entire procession, and in less than two minutes, Kamila was officially Mrs. Morrison.Arnoldo left right after, leaving the same way he entered "coldly and quickly as though Kamila carried a contagious disease. Only the Morrison family's matriarch had congratulated her while the other members of the family " and even the guests " snorted and left. With the way things went, they knew that the marriage wouldn't last. There was no point in staying to celebrate a loveless union. If anything, the moment Arnoldo and Kamila were pronounced husband and wife, they were already eagerly awaiting the day of their divorce. The Morrison family was one of the biggest and wealthiest families in California. With their strong influences in the business and political world, many businessmen could only hope that their daughters could marry into the family so as to help progress their own businesses. As such, Kamila's marriage to Arnoldo was seen as nothing more than a thorn in their sides.Kamila lay on the ground as she reminisced those awful memories. Her wedding day had been so long ago, and back then, she had been hopeful. Now, all that those memories left was a bitter taste in her mouth and a cold, empty feeling in her heart. All the torture that she had experienced in this god-forsaken house had all felt like salt rubbed into her wounds. She regretted it. She regretted not listening to her family back then when they told her to stay away from Arnoldo.Kamila abruptly sat up and shook her head.
This was a nightmare and the only way to wake up was if she went through with the divorce. She knew that she couldn't continue like this. She had made up her mind. After a long shower, Kamila took out the divorce agreement that was kept near the bed, read it, and signed it with a flourish. It had always been kept near their matrimonial bed, a sore reminder that Arnoldo had always pushed for their separation. The thought of it made Kamila's heart ache, though she waved it off.She couldn't think about that now.It was stated in the divorce papers that she would be given an alimony of fifty million dollars, along with a house. Kamila needed to talk to Arnoldo about this term; she was worth way more than that, especially all that his family had put her through. With the papers signed, Kamila returned to bed. She wasn't dumb enough to head back downstairs where the mother and daughter duo were. Karla and Arlette would only find more ways to cause her trouble. She had decided that she would only head down when it was time for dinner.Even though the Morrisons had hired dozens of servants to tend to their needs, Kamila was the one who was responsible for most of the household chores. Even the servants didn't respect her, emboldened by the poor manner their masters treated Kamila. This was the last time Kamila would help out in the house. No more after.Kamila had unknowingly fallen asleep and had awoken to the sound of the bedroom door opening. In stepped
Arnoldo, the man she had once called her husband. Kamila merely glanced at him, unmoving, an action that stumped even Arnoldo due to how clingy she usually was on a normal day.He frowned, curious and displeased by her sudden coldness until he finally noticed the divorce papers by the side table, signed with her name. His heart skipped a beat and he turned to her to ask, "What is this?""What?" Kamila snapped. "Can't you recognize your most prized possession when you see it?"He was stunned, his eyes wide and lips parted in surprise. Her tone was cold and sarcastic, a stark contrast to how she had always spoken to him. She had always been sweet, timid, and shy, a good wife who would never get mad no matter what Arnoldo did.Kamila continued, "I know that you've always wanted a divorce. That's the entire reason why you've always kept the papers in the bedside drawer, right?" She looked him straight in the eyes and added, "Let's get this divorce registered. Then, you and I would both be free."Arnoldo blinked dumbly, wondering what it was that had caused Kamila to change her mind. She had been so insistent on staying married. Then, his expression darkened. This was surely just another trick she had up her sleeve."Whatever," he said before leaving for the shower.Kamila paid him no mind. She climbed off the bed and headed downstairs to the kitchen where the butler was waiting."Good evening, Miss Kamila," David greeted with a warm smile. Her heart warmed. "Good evening, Uncle David." In this house, only he and Grandma Megan treated Kamila with respect. There was no need to be hostile towards an ally.Together, they got to work to prepare dinner. None of the servants bothered to help. This would be the last time Kamila would be cooking for her 'wonderful' family anyway.
"When Arnoldo left the shower, Kamila was no longer in the room. Yet, the sheet of divorce papers remained right where she had left them " out in the open for him to see.He didn't know why but the sight of it made him frown."Is she serious?" he wondered out loud to himself. The moment he entered the dining room, everyone was already seated. Karla and Arlette were chatting while Arnoldo's father, Adam, was on a call. Grandma Megan wore a warm smile as her gaze followed after someone else. Arnoldo looked in the same direction just to find Kamila busying about, bringing the dishes to the table so that everyone could eat.His confidence, previously shaken by seeing Kamila's signature on the divorce papers, surged back.'There's no way Kamila would agree to a divorce,' he thought to himself. 'She wouldn't want to make Grandma upset.'But as soon as that thought entered his head, he frowned. Hadn't a divorce been what he had wanted for the last three years?Once the dishes were served and everyone sat down, Arnoldo found himself unable to tear his eyes off his wife. If she was serious about the divorce, surely she would bring up the topic. As if she had read his mind, Kamila suddenly declared to no one in particular, "Arnoldo and I are getting a divorce."

"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
