Chapter 1
{EVIE}
“I dare you to kiss a guy.”
I slurp calmly on my cocktail, my right leg crossing over the other, trying to conceal the smile breaking on my face.
“Okay… who do you have in mind?” I asked calmly, despite the bubbling excitement inside me at the dare.
Becky perks up on her spot on the lounge seat, her soft blue eyes gleaming with a smug expression beneath the club’s neon lights, the booming music echoing softly around us where we sat in the lounging area, away from the mingling bodies of intoxicated people raving on the dance floor. Tasha and Darla hoot, their expressions mirroring Becky’s.
She casually shrugs. “Any guy, it’s your pick, gorgeous.” She drawls, lips stretching into a sly smile now.
My face finally breaks with a smile, “Hm, alright, that sounds fun.” I smirk, placing my drink down on the table between us then sit upright, clearing my throat. “Let’s see what we have here…”
Darting my gaze around, I search the room for a worthy target.
We had come here to unwind. It was the weekend after all, but one too many drinks had caused us to engage in this game and here we are. It was fun though, and I wasn’t complaining.
This dare was as easy as pie.
I narrow my eyes, a frown soon settling on my face when I don’t find someone suitable.
“Come on, Evie, how hard can it be to find one guy,” Darla whines, rocking impatiently in her seat. “Just pick anyone.”
“Yeah, Evie, there’s like a dozen guys swarming this place, just pick one already.” Tasha joins in.
Becky chuckles, “Just give her a moment, girls, you know Evie gets with these things. She doesn’t just kiss anyone.”
I want to roll my eyes at them, at Becky’s words too, but she’s right. I don’t just kiss anyone, even in a dare. You’d have to meet a minimum requirement at least; that is… allure me.
“Oh, please… It’s just a kiss!” Tasha and Darla say at the same time, their voices pitching.
I finally roll my eyes, a quiet sigh escaping my lips, and I shake my head sparing them a glance.
“So… find someone?” Becky speaks up after a moment, catching my gaze. “Or are you going to forfeit?” she grins and my lips curl with a grimace.
Forfeiting means I would have to pay a hundred dollars and drink five shots of Martinez in three seconds. Paying wasn’t the problem. I can’t hold my liquor and that entails embarrassing moments I’d rather not let happen.
Becky knew that too, they all did. I’m the only one in our little friend group who can’t handle more than two shots of alcohol. Five would be disastrous and Becky and the girls are going to have a field day with it.
I spring up to my feet, shaking my head, “No way, I’ll find someone. I know he’s here somewhere.”
“Ooou, go girl!”
“Yeahh, that’s what I’m talking about!” Tasha and Darla chorus at the same time but I ignore them and turn.
“Well, if you say so,” Becky leans back against her seat, legs crossing at her ankle, her hands planted behind her, supporting her weight. “But you have sixty seconds or else…”
She didn’t have to complete the sentence, the mischievous glint in her eyes says it all.
Breathing out, my eyes frantically sweep across the club. Thirty seconds go by and I still haven’t found who I wanted for the dare.
Forty seconds. Fifty seconds. Fifty-five…
The girls’ voices are a constant bout of teasing. My teeth clamp onto my bottom lip, and I bounce on one foot.
I’m starting to think the universe wants to embarrass me. How hard can it possibly be to find someone I actually want to kiss?
I might as well just kiss anyone and get it over with. But before I make a move, my gaze catches onto something, or rather… someone.
I pause, my breath catching in my throat. And then, a smile spreads like wildfire across my face.
“I take it as you’ve found someone?” Becky observes but I’m already stepping out of our booth.
“See you girls in a bit.” I wink, grab my purse, and make my way to my target.
He sat at the far corner of the room; a VIP spot, secluded in privacy. It was no wonder I couldn’t find him.
He was shrouded in the shadows of the dim red and golden lights in his booth. I could barely see him, but he had looked up for a moment and the light had caught his face, just enough to allure me.
And the closer I got to him, the clearer I could make out his frame. He pauses when I waltz into his booth, his glass of whatever he was drinking—probably whiskey—hung mid-air close to his mouth before he lowers it slightly.
His eyes flash, his face contouring with curiosity and something else, over sculptured features. His lips parted as if to speak but I cut in first, without introduction as I stepped into his personal space.
“It’s nothing personal, but just enjoy it,” I say before straddling him and I don’t wait for a response or a reaction either. I grab his face in my hands and lock my lips against his.
He freezes against me and I almost let out a moan. A sudden, heady sensation instantly washes through me at the feeling of his mouth. I thought I was prepared when I came here to fulfill this deal—and I knew the girls were watching—but I never expected this stranger’s mouth to feel so… delectable. It was almost illegal.
But this was meant to be a dare and I had done my part. I wasn’t supposed to enjoy it this much. I shouldn’t…
What happens next sends a bone-deep, toe-curling shiver through me when I start to pull away.
He leans upright, locking me against his body—his arm wrapping around my waist, the other one snaking into the root of my hair and gripping firmly—and kisses me, harder.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.

Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
