Introduction
When a public scandal threatens to destroy them both, they strike a dangerous deal: a fake marriage, perfectly curated to fool the world and protect their empires. One year. No love. No real touch. Only the illusion of passion. But every photoshoot becomes a power struggle. Every whispered word drips with tension. Behind the flash of cameras and polished smiles, they fight for control—and somewhere between the staged kisses and midnight standoffs, lines blur.
Then their secret contract leaks. The world learns the truth, and everything they built shatters overnight. Betrayal cuts deeper than either expected. Pride turns to obsession. And the only thing more dangerous than their hatred… is the fire neither of them can extinguish.
Because their perfect lie started a war—and surrender was never an option.
Chapter 1
Zephyra Lione’s heels clicked against the marble floor of the grand Celestine Hotel as she walked in. Eyes followed her as she entered, some secretly, some stared very obviously. It was because of the dress she wore. The dress was one of her own designs; a beautiful black velvet gown with a V-neckline and a slit that exposed her right thigh. The back of the dress was open but held together by a thin crisscross of silver chains that twinkled brightly.
She was at the hotel for a charity event organized by Dravencorp. She had been invited. But more than that, she intended to meet people in the fashion industry. To meet those who could push her name further into the spotlight. Already, she was the city’s latest obsession; a two-time winner of Rookie Designer of the Year, a woman called too ambitious, and branded dangerous by the men whose careers she could ruin with a few sharp words. She had done it before.
She was about to step into the elevator when she heard the sound of someone sobbing. Zephyra stopped in her tracks, then took a few steps back to see where the sound was coming from.
A young woman stood by the corner. Zephyra recognized her instantly. She was Maya Delrose, a famous model in the fashion industry. Her makeup was smudged, and she held the arm of a man Zephyra did not recognize. He was tall and handsome, with dark-hair, his suit perfectly tailored to his muscular body, his expression cold enough to turn the temperature of a room, many degrees down.
“Please,” Maya’s voice broke. “Just… listen to what I have to say.”
Without hesitation, the man yanked her hand away from his, with force. She stumbled and fell on the floor with a soft cry.
“You had one chance to prove me wrong, Maya. One chance!” The man spoke, trying hard not to be loud.
Zephyra’s chest tightened with a burning anger that dug up old scars. Her father had been like that; abusive, hot-tempered. Her mother had endured bruises from him until she couldn’t anymore. Zephyra had sworn never to let a man like that near her or treat her that way, and she had even less tolerance for watching it happen to someone else. The man could have said whatever without pushing her away.
The man bent down, pulled something out of his inner suit pocket, dropped it in front of her, then leaned close and whispered something Zephyra couldn’t hear. Whatever he said made her sob harder.
Zephyra stepped back quickly, turning away as if she had seen nothing. She had an event to attend, a reputation to guard. But his face was locked in her memory. She would deal with him later.
She was about to glance back when someone slammed into her shoulder. Her heel wobbled and she almost fell down.
“Watch where you’re going,” the man said flatly and left. No apology. Nothing.
Zephyra looked up and it was him. The same man who had just yanked Maya to the ground.
She straightened. “Such a good-for-nothing jerk,” she muttered under her breath as he walked into the elevator. “Let me see you one more time. I’ll teach you how to behave properly.”
Zephyra took the next elevator and rode it up to the grand ballroom.
The hall was filled with business men and women dressed elegantly, all here for a purpose best known to them. Dravencorp’s logo glowed across the stage backdrop. Their influence stretched across entertainment, fashion, and beyond. Everyone here wanted a piece of them.
As she entered, heads turned. Women whispered about her dress, men about her legs. Reporters swarmed towards her, flashing cameras, throwing questions.
“Which brand are you wearing tonight, Miss Lione?” one asked.
Zephyra smiled. “My own, of course. I only wear my brand to events.”
Before they could fire off more questions, the MC’s voice boomed over the speakers.
“Please welcome the host of tonight’s charity gala—the CEO of Dravencorp, Mr. Kairo Draven.”
Polite applause filled the room as a tall figure stepped onto the stage. Zephyra’s eyes followed him and her smile froze.
It was him. The jerk. The one who had no respect for women.
Her disbelief twisted into something sharper. Of course. Every one of these princes born rich always had a rotten core. All handsome and good on the outside, but secretly involved in something bad.
As he spoke with his smooth voice, perfect delivery; Zephyra saw the women in the audience almost leaning forward to breathe his air. She knew better than to fall for his handsome face and charms.
“If there’s any questions or inquiries about how the charity will be distributed, please reach out to Dravencorp’s team. Thank you all and enjoy the rest of your night,” he said with a slight smile.
This was her time. Her hand went up before she could stop herself.
The crowd parted for her to walk to the front like she was royalty or a threat. Maybe both.
“Do you mind if I ask my own question now?” she said when she reached the front.
His gaze locked on hers, as if trying to uncover whatever she was about to say before she said it.
“You can just call the company later to—”
She didn’t care. Her question wasn’t to ask for his permission. It was a warning for the bomb about to explode.
“The proceeds of this charity event will be going to the victims of abuse too. What would you say are your intentions for this charity event? Would you classify them as something that truly matches your character? Or are you just hiding behind good deeds like this, Mr. Draven?”
Gasps and murmurs went through the crowd. Cameras turned.
His brows twitched. “What do you mean by hiding? I don’t think we’re close enough for you to know my true character or to question me about my intentions.”
“Oh, I’ve seen it,” she said with a smirk. “How cold, and rude you are. Not to mention how you don’t respect women at all.”
“That’s a strong accusation,” he said, his voice dropping lower than before. He was starting to get annoyed. “What will you do if you get arrested for defamation?”
Zephyra smirked. “There it is. Your true colors. Manipulative. Threatening. Don’t worry, Mr. Draven… I know the law quite well. And I know what I saw a few minutes ago with that woman. Do you want me to go further?”
His silence was louder than the murmurs. Then he stepped down from the stage, his cold gaze, fixated on her feisty one. He went through the crowd until he was right in front of her.
He bent close and tucked her hair behind her ear, his hand warm against her skin. The scent of him was dark, clean, intoxicating.
“You know the law,” he murmured, “but you don’t know me. Big mistake. Be prepared for the consequences of your actions today… Miss Zephyra Lione.”
He smirked and walked away, reporters running after him and sho
uting out questions.
Zephyra stood frozen.
How the hell does he know my name?

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."
The bitter truth? I've been reborn into the body of an overweight, weak, and supposedly dim-witted high school girl. Her life is filled with bullies and tormentors who've made her existence miserable.
But they have no idea who they're dealing with now.
I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.

My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
