Chapter 1
LAYLA
I stood at the door, and listened again. Soon enough, I was sure the noise was coming from the bedroom.
I could hear their moans and ass slapping noises. I opened the door and the sight that met me was wholly and unholy.
There on what was supposed to become our matrimonial bed in forty eight hours was my fiancé, Sam Fredrick, tangled up with a woman I had never seen before in my life.
They were so consumed by each other that neither of them noticed me standing in the doorway.
“Harder baby,” came the lady's moans.
I couldn't bear it any longer. I stamped my foot hard against the floor. It immediately attracted their attention.
Sam gave me a look, a look he would usually give a fly that flew into his food.
They didn't even bother to cover up. “What's wrong with you?” Sam asked in anger.
“Really! Sam?” I returned.
Finally Sam had the decency to put on his trousers. He flung the bedsheet at the lady, whispering to her to cover up.
“Can't you see that you are interrupting us?” the lady on the bed asked. She looked angry and disgusted at my intrusion at her moment with Sam Fredrick, my fiance.
“Get out,” Sam said, flatly.
“It's her who should get out and not me. I'm your fiancée for God sake,’’ I fumed
“Fiancée indeed,” the lady sneered. “Who do you think you are? Some lowly pauper trying to get married to Sam Frederick. He might marry you but he will never love you. Know your place,” she continued.
I turned to look at Sam. “Can you at least show me some respect. Our wedding is in the next two days.”
“So…” the lady began.
“Shut your mouth,” I cut her off immediately. “You should be silent and ashamed of yourself.”
“Sam, she's bullying me,” she clung at Sam's arm, acting innocent.
“Get out Layla,” Sam said, again.
I shook my head, looking at Sam. How can he be defending her instead of me, his wife to be.
“I'm done,” I said, slowly.
“What do you say?” He asked, and I looked up at him.
“I'm no longer marrying you,” I said, firmly looking into his eyes.
Sam smiled, “You will what? You wouldn't dare.”
“Watch me do so?” I responded.
“No one will dare marry you if I reject you. No one dares. Behave yourself and get out while I'm being nice or you will regret it,” Sam threatened.
I swallowed hard as I listened to him. Sam was one of the most influential people in the whole of New York. Just one word from him, and I will be blacklisted.
No one would dare marry me if I was rejected by Sam Fredrick. But I don't care. I won't enter a marriage in which I'll be humiliated every second of it.
I walked out of Sam's mansion and hailed a cab home. I sat down silently and the tears I have been holding on to, flowed down my face.
I'm only twenty years old and fate didn't shine its luck on me. My Mother died when I was very young and my father remarried two years later, bringing home a new Mom and a sister.
But their arrival was the beginning of a hard time for me. I have been despised by my stepmother Yelena, and stepsister Tasha.
I have had to fend for myself from a very young age and despite that my family still wants to use me to attain financial independence and abundance by marrying notorious playboy, Sam Fredrick.
They are determined to use me till the last drop of my blood. My father, Victor, my stepmother, and stepsister were all guilty. None, not even one was left out.
I'm not in anyone's good book. I don't know of any crime I committed to receive such ill treatment. I only wish my Mom was still alive.
“Here,” I looked up to see the cab driver offering me a tissue paper. I didn't realize I had been crying profusely.
I took the tissue with a forced smile. “Thank you,” I said, politely. At least one person has been nice to me today. If only my family can learn and also be nice to me…
“We are here,” the driver announced, jolting me from my thoughts.
I took a deep breath and stepped out of the cab. I was back to the hell of a home.
I opened the door and met three pairs of eyes staring at me with extreme hostility.
“Good evening, Mom and Dad,” I greeted and tried to sneak off to my room.
But the sound of my father stopped me immediately. “What are you doing here?” He asked.
I traced his voice and they were all at the dining table. I could see my stepsister Tasha, rolling her eyes at me.
“Yes, why are you home?” You should be spending the night at Sam's place,” my stepmother, Yelena, was quick to point out.
She didn't bother hiding the cruelty in her voice. She has been planning to get rid of me the moment she married my father and he has been oblivious to her and Tasha's schemes.
“I'm not getting married to him any longer,” I replied.
“What?!” Yelena and Tasha screamed in unison.
“You must be joking, of course you are,” Yelena scoffed. “I'll not let you ruin our chances in this family. I'll not let you put us to shame. Yes, you won't. Hurry now and return to Frederick's mansion,” Yelena said, spitefully.
I didn't move from where I stood. Instead I tilted my head and my eyes met hers.
Yelana was surprised, I could see it in her eyes. All my life I have always obeyed her, afraid of her retaliation if I didn't.
“No, Yelena. I'm not getting married….”
I felt a sharp pain on my cheeks, “how dare you challenge mother,” I looked up at Tasha holding my left cheeks, keeping the tears that threatened to fall stuck in my eyes.
“Father,” Tasha called onto Dad for help.
My father looked at me in silence. I could see his eyes soften for a second but they quickly were replaced with a distant coldness.
“Dad, I cannot marry Sam. He'll not treat me well,” I cried.
“Treat you well indeed. You don't deserve any better. You good for nothing child,” Yelena spat.
My heart arch as I heard the words from my stepmother but my father did nothing to stop her.
I was used to her insults, but today's own hits were different and my father remained unbothered by my tears.
Yelena and Tasha have influenced him, to see me as nothing. He looked at Yelana as he opened his mouth to speak.
“You need to listen to your mother, Layla. Go back to the Frederick family,” he said and I scoffed.
It's always the same old story. Always ‘obey’. I have no say to anything in this house.
“She's not my mother,” I said, loudly as I ran up in tears to my room.
As I turned I saw Tasha and her Mother exchange a glance and I quickly hastened my footsteps and I was able to get into my room and locked it before they got to the door.
“Mum, she must go right. We can't lose so much money and the chance of happiness,” I heard Tasha's faint voice behind the door.
“Think about the riches, the fame, the power and the happiness that follows. We can't let her call off the wedding right?”
“Definitely. She must get married but she is proving to be stubborn,” I heard Yelena's voice.
“The wedding is in two days and she must be in the Fredrick mansion tonight. We can't make mistakes or they might change their minds. What do we do my dear child,” Yelena asked.
Suddenly I couldn't hear them anymore and I sighed a breath of both relief and anxiety.
I knew my stepmother and stepsister very well. They go the extra mile to get whatever they want.
The question is what are they going to do now.

Entitled.
Delicate.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.

What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
