Facing her once-cold family, she reclaimed everything that rightfully belonged to her with fierce defiance, exposing the fake adopted daughter and making her hypocritical brothers regret their actions forever. However, while she focused on her path of revenge, the all-powerful William kept intruding into her world, declaring his claim over her with a domineering yet tender approach.
Why was he so obsessed with her? What unknown secrets lay hidden behind the bone-deep sorrow in his eyes?
Chapter 1
Emerald City.
The Taylor Villa blazed with light, a river of guests flowing through its grand halls to offer their congratulations.
"Congratulations, Mr. Taylor! A monumental day, finding your long-lost daughter!"
"Hayden, truly wonderful news!"
A broad smile stretched across Hayden Taylor’s face as he prepared to respond, but a deafening crash shattered the celebratory atmosphere.
All eyes snapped toward the source of the chaos. A young girl stood beside the ruins of the champagne tower, her thin hand still clenched around the crimson tablecloth she had ripped away, the veins stark against her pale skin. Glass pyramids had cascaded like dominoes, now lying in a glittering sea of ruin.
"Isabella Taylor!" Hayden's smile vanished, his face twisting into a scowl. "What in God's name do you think you're doing?"
The name "Isabella Taylor" sent venomous whispers slithering through the crowd.
"That's her… the real one. I heard they found her four years ago but hid her away. Told everyone she was the maid's daughter, all to protect Bianca."
"If Taylor Corp wasn't on the verge of bankruptcy, Hayden would never have acknowledged her. He's just trying to marry her off to the Johnsons to save himself."
"The poor thing…"
"Poor? If she doesn't marry him, should Bianca? Isabella has no bond with them. It’s not like Bianca, who they raised for twenty years."
"And look closer. Her left eye… she’s blind."
"I heard she got involved with some lowlife, was foolish enough to donate a cornea to him."
"Even with Taylor blood, she's damaged goods. Just trash."
Isabella stood unflinching amidst the broken glass, absorbing their contempt. "I heard everyone is here to celebrate the Taylors finding their biological daughter, is that right?"
She flung the red tablecloth to the floor, her eyes burning with the same rebellious fire they held when she first arrived at this house four years ago.
"The title of 'Taylor Family's daughter'… anyone who wants it can have it. I don't!"
Hayden's expression darkened. "Isabella! Have you lost your mind?"
"Lost my mind?" Isabella let out a sharp, bitter laugh that held no humor, only despair. "No. You're the ones who are insane."
"Four years! For four whole years, you denied my existence! Now your company is failing, and suddenly you remember me? Michael Johnson is fifty-five years old—thirty-six years my senior! His last wife died a month ago, and she was the fourth woman to die in that family…"
Her voice cracked. "Is this a reunion banquet, or my execution ground?"
Olivia Smith, her face a mask of cold fury, gestured to the butler. "Get her out of my sight."
The butler moved to grab Isabella's arm.
"I'm not leaving!" Isabella shoved him away, her gaze locking onto her parents. "I will not accept this marriage!" she screamed, her voice raw.
At this, Chase Taylor, the eldest son, detached himself from the crowd. Dressed in a flawless black suit, he approached her, his gaze as sharp as a blade. "And what makes you think you have a choice?"
Tobias Taylor frowned, his disapproval clear. "Marrying into the Johnson family is the only way to save this company."
"You should be grateful," Kieran Taylor sneered. "This is the best thing that will ever happen to you."
Isabella trembled, looking at the cold faces of her brothers. Why was it always her fault?
Just then, Bianca Taylor rushed to her side, her face a perfect portrait of concern. "Isabella, please," she pleaded, grabbing her hand. "If you don't want to go, I'll do it. I'll marry him. Just please, stop making a scene."
She positioned herself as the family's savior, a noble sacrifice. The crowd murmured in approval.
"What a good daughter Bianca is!"
"Isabella, why can't you be more like your sister?"
Isabella stared at Bianca, ice in her veins. If not for Bianca’s lies, she would still have her sight. If not for Bianca’s calculated slander, her name wouldn’t be poison.
"Bianca!" Isabella's control finally snapped. She lunged forward, her hands closing around Bianca's throat.
"Why did you lie to me? There was another donor! Why did you trick me into giving you my cornea?"
"You could have just hated me, but you set me up! You ruined me! Why?!"
"Bianca!" Hayden shouted, rushing to tear Isabella away.
"Let go of my sister!" Chase commanded coldly.
"If anything happens to Bianca, you're dead!" Tobias snarled, prying at her fingers.
"Let go!" Kieran roared, landing a vicious kick on Isabella's side.
The scene descended into chaos. But Isabella held on, her face a mask of pure rage, her grip unrelenting.
Then, a sickening thud.
Something heavy struck her skull. The strength drained from her body in an instant. Her hands fell away from Bianca, and she crumpled to the floor.
A pool of blood began to spread from beneath her head.
The family swarmed around Bianca, ignoring the girl bleeding on the marble.
"Bianca, are you alright?"
"My darling, did she hurt you?"
Gabriel Taylor stood frozen, a blood-soaked stone ornament slipping from his trembling hand. He stared at the spreading stain. "What… what do we do? I think… I think she's dead." He had only wanted her to let go. He hadn't meant to…
Olivia’s frown was purely pragmatic. "If she's dead, the arrangement with the Johnsons is off."
"Calm down, Gabriel," Hayden said, his voice eerily steady. "It was self-defense. The girl was hysterical. If she hadn't been stopped, she would have strangled Bianca."
Bianca expertly hid a triumphant smile behind a veil of tears. "It's all my fault," she sobbed. "I'm so sorry, Isabella…"
"This isn't your fault, Bianca," Chase soothed.
As they comforted Bianca, none of them noticed that Isabella was still conscious, her life clinging by a thread. Through the haze of her fading vision, she watched them, a single tear of blood tracing a path down her cheek.
Suddenly, the villa's main doors were thrown open.
A man stood silhouetted against the night. Tall, imposing, and rigid with shock.
It was William Brown, her friend's brother. The formidable head of the Brown Group. A man whose world was galaxies away from hers. If not for his sister, Sophia, their paths would never have crossed.
His words from yesterday echoed in her mind. “Don’t go to the banquet tomorrow.”
He had called from an unknown number. “They’re selling you to Michael Johnson. Marry me instead.”
“I’m on my way back. Wait for me.”
She hadn't understood then. Now, she was too weak to even process it. Her gaze drifted toward him, and through the encroaching darkness, she saw an agony in his eyes that mirrored her own… and something else. Panic.
Isabella couldn't hold on any longer. As her world went black, she heard him scream her name.
His voice was shattered and raw with terror.

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Invisible To Her Bully
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
