Introduction
Rhaedon asked lazily as he pulled on his shirt, covering the last of his scarred, toned torso.
His golden gaze settled on me.
“Why should I trust a woman like you?”
I met his eyes without hesitation.
“Because I’m the only one who can put you on the throne.”

Aveline Thorne was killed by the man she loved and the sister she trusted—only to wake up five years before her death.
On the night of her wedding anniversary, she’s betrayed by Lucien Ashbourne, her husband who chose her sister over her, used her silence to climb toward the throne, framed her, and had her killed the moment she became an inconvenience.
Given a second chance at life, one thing is painfully clear to Aveline: her life was never meant to be about love. It was about power—and this time, she refused to be the one sacrificed for it.
Instead of marrying the man who would destroy her, Aveline allied herself with the feared Crown Prince Alpha whose name alone made the realm shake—and Lucien’s most hated cousin—Rhaedon Ashkaar.
In exchange for power, status, protection, and revenge, she offered him something no one else could: knowledge that could help him win the Alpha Selection—a brutal competition to crown the next Alpha of Alphas—and a chance to cure the sickness slowly killing him.
As she helps Rhaedon rise and take revenge on those who betrayed her, the man who once believed she was useless finally realizes what he has lost. But by the time regret takes hold of Lucien, Aveline is already standing somewhere he can never reach.
With her second chance at life, she isn’t living for love or forgiveness.
She’s surviving to take back everything they stole from her—including the throne!
Chapter 1
~Aveline~
Twenty-four hours after the second month anniversary of our child’s death, I stood outside my matrimonial room and watched my husband moan my sister’s name, groaning as he slammed into her.
His raw and unrestrained groan was followed by a breathless moan, wanton and unashamed, echoing off the walls and crashing straight into me where I stood frozen with glossy, disbelieving eyes.
My mouth hung open, but no sound came out. No sound had come out for the past three years—ever since the night I lost my voice after taking a blow meant for Maribel.
Now, that decision mocked me.
Violently, my heart clenched in my chest and the world tilted as my vision blurred. For a brief, foolish second, I wondered if this was another nightmare—one of the many that had haunted me since the death of my three-year-old son.
But it wasn't. Before me, the scene, their voices and mix of pheromones, were as real as they came.
How… how had things turned out this way?
The question burned hot in my mind.
Just an hour ago, I had spoken to Lucien through the communication instrument. His voice had sounded distant, detached—like it had for the past few weeks—but I hadn’t questioned it. Not when he told me he loved me.
Not when he promised we would go on a vacation together to rest, grieve, and try again for another child.
He had said all of that… while knowing he was about to climb into bed with Maribel?
Betrayal twisted its dagger in my chest and before I could stop myself, my legs moved on their own, carrying me forward as I pushed the door open.
It slammed violently against the wall, startling them both.
Lucien’s head snapped over his shoulder, his movements halting as his gaze locked onto me. The warmth and desire that had filled his eyes moments ago vanished instantly, replaced by something cold and detached.
“Sister—” Maribel scrambled for the bedsheet, yanking it up to cover her bare chest as she stared at me, eyes wide.
I met her gaze, my vision swimming as tears threatened to fill my eyes.
My hands trembled as I signed frantically—furiously.
“Explain yourself!”
At moments like this, I hated my silence more than ever.
“It’s not what you think,” Maribel began, her voice breathless. Then she stopped. Her shoulders slumped, and she let out a long, tired sigh—as if she were the one exhausted by this situation.
The sweetness drained from her expression in the blink of an eye.
“Gods be damned,” she muttered, dragging a hand through her damp blonde hair.
Beside her, Lucien finally pulled away and sat back against the headboard with a heavy sigh.
“I can’t keep up this act anymore,” she said.
Her words made my brows furrow in confusion and hurt.
I raised my hands again, signing frantically, my movements sharp and desperate. “What… what the hell is going on?”
The words burned in my throat, trapped where my voice used to be.
Before I could finish signing, Maribel let out an exaggerated sigh and rolled her eyes.
The irritation on her face sat so naturally, so comfortably, that it made my stomach churn.
She leaned back against Lucien, resting her head against his chest as if she belonged there, her gaze flicking up to meet his for a brief, intimate moment.
“How have you endured her for all these years?” she asked.
The question struck me harder than any slap.
Endured?
Lucien had married me when I was at my peak—when I stood at the center of every noble gathering. I hadn’t been just another Luna candidate for the Ashbourne pack. I had been the Luna candidate, born of noble blood beneath a red moon, favored by tradition and destiny alike.
I was the woman other women envied and all men desired.
And yet, after marrying Lucien, all of it had slipped through my fingers.
My standing, my beauty, my voice.
… And my child.
But I still stayed, not because this marriage was just another political alliance, but because I loved him.
And what? All these years he's merely been ‘enduring’ me?
Anger coiled tightly with hurt in my chest and my gaze snapped toward Lucien, locking onto his face.
Tell her to shut up, I begged silently, desperation burning in my eyes. And put an end to this nonsense!
Lucien met my gaze.
For a fleeting moment, I searched his eyes for the warmth they once held. Instead, all I found was winter where autumn previously resided.
Then, his voice came out calm and detached.
“Enduring her was manageable because she served a purpose,” he said, then paused—during that pause, I felt something inside me tear apart as his gaze swept over me slowly, critically, as if assessing something broken.
Disgust and disdain bled into his brown eyes, leaving no room for doubt, as he clicked his tongue and turned away, as though looking at me for even a second longer was unbearable.
“She’s nothing but an eyesore and an inconvenience now.”
Those words, spoken by the same man who once kissed my feet and promised me the world, pierced my heart like a perfectly aimed dagger.
Disbelief tore through my mind, leaving everything in disarray. My chest tightened painfully, breath hitching as the ache spread deeper, sharper.
If my wolf were still alive, I was certain she would be writhing right now—howling in agony.
Agony born from betrayal from the sister we had trusted, shielded, and treated as blood—even when she was nothing more than the daughter of a mistress.
From the husband I had devoted my life to.
A thick, metallic scent suddenly filled my nose. It took a moment for me to realize it was coming from me. My gaze dropped slowly to my hands, and only then did I notice how deeply my nails had dug into my palm.
Blood seeped through my clenched fingers, trailing down my skin and splattering onto the floor.
When Maribel noticed it, she flinched. With a soft gasp, she quickly buried her face into Lucien’s chest, as though the sight of my blood repulsed her.
Lucien didn’t hesitate.
He wrapped his arms around her protectively, drawing her closer and shielding her from the very pain he had caused—while I, his wife, his mate and Luna, stood alone and watched it happen.
So this was it? I thought bitterly.
After all the nights sacrificed health and social life to aid Lucien in leading the Ashbourne pack, he was going to betray me just like this.
Something hot and unfamiliar curled deep in my chest and a strange sensation fizzed beneath my skin, like something long-dormant was beginning to stir.
From the bed, I caught the briefest change in Lucien’s expression. His eyes narrowed, a flicker of confusion and disbelief flashing across his face.
Beside him, Maribel stiffened.
They'd felt it too. I noticed—but I didn’t care.
Clenching my hands tighter, I took a step forward—
Out of nowhere, both sides of the double doors swung violently inward, slamming against the walls with a deafening crash that jolted me out of my trance.
Before I could even turn, the thundering sound of boots filled the air and the next second, my body was tackled from behind.
I hit the floor hard, the impact knocking the air from my lungs. A soundless grunt tore from me as I struggled instinctively, hands scraping against the cold ground, but the weight pinning me down was unyielding.
Suddenly, an authoritative voice filled the room.
“Luna Aveline of the Ashbourne Pack—no—Aveline Odeliah Thorne,” the figure towering above me declared coldly.
“You are under arrest for the assassination of Crown Prince Alpha Rhaedon Ashkaar of the Ashkaar Dominion!”

I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.

What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully

His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
