Introduction

Blurb
He had his face pointing at my pussy, his hands fondling the skin of my thighs as I let out a soft moan.
I could feel hands squeezing my bare breasts and my lips devoured by another.
My body squivered, my hormones kicks as I yanked on the bed moaning in a muffled tone, feeling the man who knelt before my pussy licking my wetness.
This was it, the moment I've been waiting for, to be devoured by my stepbrothers who looked at me like they already own me.

Lena happens to be invited to the palace by her estranged mother only to realize it's a funeral of the supreme alpha.
To worsen it, she happens to meet her boyfriend, Aaron from the past who left her shattered bringing up memories.
To worsen it, they got to realize they are step siblings.
Wanting to leave there quietly, she suddenly gets informed that she's the next alpha king rather than Aaron who has worked all his life for it.
It didn't end there, he had other brothers, dangerous, hot and sexy who sees her as their thing to either ruin or keep.
Coupled with the palace play of power, she's left to either accept this responsibility or drop it for her safety.
But staring at her ex who looked down on her, a bully who mocks her, a mother who never regarded her and five daring brothers who looks at her like they own her, she can't say no.
Will she survive the palace when she suddenly gets kidnapped on her first night?

Chapter 1

Lena POV

Dear diary,

I'd do anything for him.

Even though it meant ruining someone's else dreams to put him on the games.

Even though it meant skipping my classes just to put him through his studies.

I wanted the best for him. He said he'd make me his if his dreams comes true and yes, I'd confess, I was a big fool.

Even when I knew that he'd be reckless with my heart someday, I played blinded by it.

I have always had a crush on him from childhood and perhaps...he used that on me.

I thought I could change him but then he made me realize that people don't change.

And when he won the games, he chose her...my bully Hera right in front of me at the stadium.

While everyone cheered, I drowned in my tears.

What was his excuse? I was an omega, weak and he only used me.

There was no remorse on his face and his last wish was that I find someone better.

Aaron walker.

That's his name.

The boy who stole my dreams and left me traumatized for over a year.

It's been a year now and I'm moving over to the Riverdale pack...to see my estranged mother after she sent a letter to see me.

I should have rejected the offer but then, it might help me out of my depressed state.

But unfortunately, I never expected I'd be attending a funeral!

While everyone wears black, I'm the only one on white, like a ghost bride.

My dull gaze falls on the grave before me and there's no emotions inside me.

Moving those eyes further, I saw her, the woman who sent a letter.

Ironically, she's my estranged mother who abandoned me with an abusive father for an alpha who I barely know.

All eyes were suddenly on me, having that look that says I was dishonoring a funeral, if only they knew I was already dead and barely breathing.

I tried my best just so she notices me, but she's busy, greeting the guests who came over to solicit with her as the Luna.

She smile warmly at them, but not me, neither did she introduced me to any of the guests.

I needed her the most now...to weep in her arms but…

Heaving a sigh, I turned around, wanting to leave the cemetery as I didn't feel welcomed here.

I walked out of the cemetery, the way I'd slipped into it, quiet and unnoticed except the white dress which sold me away.

The cold air hit my face like a reminder that I didn’t belong here, that the only thing I was good at was being the one who left.

The stone path I took was slick with dew and I missed a step which has me turning around and in what felt like a trance...I saw him!

Aaron!

He was taller than I remembered, his hair, dark and cut short enough to show the sharp line of his jaw, and his eyes.

Those eyes—were a stormy grey, one that has anyone drowning.

The tiny scar that ran along the left side of his brow just gave him that rugged, almost‑dangerous vibe he wore like a second skin.

In the fading light of the cemetery, his features were carved in bold relief.

For a second I caught myself thinking how effortlessly handsome he was, like a statue brought to life, perfect and untouchable.

Before I could even register the surprise, his hand shot out and grabbed my wrist, yanking me off the path and my body leans to his, feeling that warmth that I have once missed or now hates.

We exchanged breath as he widened his eyes, startled and my grip on his collar tightens.

I should pull away, but my wolf was embarrassing as she cowered inside me, at a corner.

His eyes pierced at me, with loathe, I can tell and that despise like I was disgusting.

“What the hell are you doing here, Lena?” he mutters in a tone that sounded furious, yet he wasn't letting go of my wrist.

Silence.

I took my hands off him, as regret was the only thing that lingers in my heart.

I tried to pull my wrist from him, but he was still holding it firmly.

I swear, his breath hitched when his eyes met with my braided hair and his gasped.

“Answer me..." He snapped and I scoffed at him as his rude attitude after a year haven't changed.

We are seeing after 365 day, 3 weeks and 20 hours and this is how he treats me!

He didn't finish. His eyes traces the crowd, to the people who were now watching us like they were curious and also judging.

Damn it! I've been noticed again.

“You know what they say about you. You bring chaos wherever you go. I can’t have that ruining what I’ve built.”

I felt the sting of his words like a physical blow, but I forced my shoulders to stay straight.

“Aaron, I—”

“Don’t,” he snapped, cutting me off. “You know the things I’ve done, the things I’ve hidden. You think I want my name dragged through the mud because you decided to show up? Tell me, did any of my brothers call you here?”

Each statement he made has my body yanking closer to him that I forgot I had lungs as his breath kept pouring on my face.

I scoffed feeling all weak again, like I couldn't fight for myself just like the very day he chose her instead of me, the very day he made me wait in the rain just so I miss the exams that would given the sponsorship I needed.

"Are you scared that I'd do that?" I muttered trying to appear all courageous widening my eyes at him.

He scoffed at me unbelievably as though he was mocking me.

"You can't do anything Lena, you're just a weak pathetic girl who's be buried even before you voice out"

I hate him so much that it burns my lungs.

"Let go of my hand..."

"I will, when I take you out of here!" He snapped roughly and immediately began to drag me away but then, I pushed him, glaring into his eyes.

However, he didn't even move rather, he closed up the space between us that I could feel every ounce of his body, his cologne and that look that melts me.

I don't want to be pathetic.

"You don't get to refuse my order...you know, I'm the crown alpha now and you're just my subject!"

"In your dreams" I screeched trying to muster up courage to fight back...for once but then he only grabbed my collar with just a hand and our lips almost touched.

"Repeat that line again" he threatens as his eyes bore into mine and I was shivering, wanting to say it clearly to him.

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé.
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.

Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
